My goal is always to make pets feel comfortable, cared for, and relaxed while their owners are away. 🐾 I provide care exclusively in my client’s home because I believe pets are often the most comfortable in a familiar environment with their normal routine. Keeping pets in their own space helps reduce stress and allows them to feel safe, relaxed, and secure while their owners are away. I always take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions to ensure they receive the best care possible. Safety and trust are extremely important to me, so I treat every client’s home with respect and care while also making sure their pets receive plenty of attention, affection, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout my stay. I did so some schooling for assistant veterinary technician so I do know how to do animal CPR and basic aid. Im currently working full time, but during the evenings I’ll have time to give your furry friends the attention they need. I am very open to dropping in whenever needed! Weekends I am usually always available. I can easily crate your dog if needed. About: Hi, we're both animal lovers who grew up with great pups! Theresa grew up with golden retrievers (Magellan and Rowan) and A.K. grew up with an Old English Sheepdog (Seymour). We both have experience with dogs from puppy to senior. Growing up, A.K. also dogsat for multiple families in his neighborhood. Theresa is a runner and would love to (with your permission) take your dog for a fun walk, jog, or adventure to the dog park. If your pup is more of a couch potato, A.K. will be their best friend. Our friends and family have lots of dogs so we're comfortable and familiar interacting with various breeds of dogs (Pugs, Poodles, Shiba Inus, German Shepherds, Bernedoodles just to name a few). **We require a 2 night minimum for bookings besides for repeat clients** We both have some flexibility to work from home and are organized, diligent, and honest. Due to the nature of our careers and just having built a house we know how key customer service, safety, and communication are and we're always available by phone, email, text, app, etc. Our home is close to Midtown and Downtown Detroit and we designed it with our future dog(s) in mind! We have a dog wash in our mud room, a fenced in back/side yard, and a dedicated lit, sleeping/crate space on the 1st floor under the stairs (kinda like Harry Potter!) Our home has central air and all flooring is tile so any fluffy dogs will stay cool during the warmer months.

I definitely will leave your home clean and tidy. I care for pets by making sure they have plenty of food and water, taking them out to the bathroom regularly, and allowing them time to exercise and play.

About: I currently have 2 dogs that I’ve trained from puppies. I’ve pet sit for my brother for the last 5 years. A day hasn’t gone by in the last 10 years that I’m not out walking dogs. I’ve cared for senior dogs as well as puppies and love them all. I currently work 2-3 days a week with a rotating schedule but am available every morning and night as well as most weekends. My schedule is extremely flexible. I have a fenced in yard in a great neighborhood. Both my dogs are extremely friendly and always looking for another friend to play with.
