About: Experienced working with a variety of animals- dogs, cats, chickens, goats, aquatic pets (turtles, frogs, fish, etc.), and reptiles. Experience as a vet assistant provides strong foundation in caring for medically complex and senior pets, comfortable administering medications. Currently care for my two pups and bearded dragon at home. I enjoy pet care as it helps to provide a purposeful break from school. Caring for animals feels like second nature with my schedule, and I’m able to seamlessly provide for your pets while maintaining my school schedule without any lapse in care. I provide a close eye on the animals that I care for, and due to my experience as a veterinary assistant I am able to recognize potential medical needs of your animal companions. I’m comfortable walking pets, supervising them in a fenced in yard, or any other method that your pet uses to go outside! While in your home, I maintain close proximity to your pets, and engage them in enriching activities during my time with them.
About: I am in my 10th year of working as a dog walker & pet sitter for small local companies, but I am new to Rover. I’m certified in first aid and CPR for dogs and cats. I am also a member of the Association of Professional Pet Sitters. I’m passionate about rescue animals. In addition to my own adopted pets, I’ve fostered dogs and kittens and am involved as a volunteer in transporting adoptable dogs between rescues. I look forward to meeting your pets and providing them with loving care, exercise, & companionship. My full time job as a nurse is on night shift and my schedule varies, so check my calendar! My availability is mostly during the day. I am happy to provide care for your pet to comply with your requests and their preferences. If they’re energetic and like to be active with fast paced walks, great! If they’d rather a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood and check out the smells, that’s fine with me! They like to play fetch in the backyard or just relax with snuggles on the couch? I’ve got it.
“This was our first time using someone who wasn't family watch our puppies while we were away snd katie made us feel so confident that they were well taken care of! She was very communicative and the dogs had a blast with her! We will definitely be using her again for our next trip.”

I have crated dog experience, hyper dog experience, older dog experience, big/heavy dog experience, dog and cat interaction experience, and multiple dogs in a household experience.
“Krista and her daughter took wonderful care of our cats. Krista was patient with all three of our cats who have very different personalities. About: I am a Mechanical Engineering student with an Art minor, but my true passion has always been animals. I believe pets deserve the same love, respect, and care as people, and I take that responsibility seriously. I currently care for five of my own pets, including three dogs of different sizes, a cat, and two guinea pigs. I’ve also owned cats in the past, so I have long-term, hands-on experience with both cats and dogs across different life stages and personalities. I have frequently been responsible for their full care independently, including feeding, walking, enrichment, and monitoring health and behavior. One of my dogs has severe anxiety and a pollen allergy, which has given me experience caring for animals with special needs, including close attention to symptoms, environmental triggers, and comfort management. I’m confident in recognizing signs of illness or distress and knowing when to seek veterinary attention. I also gained hands-on experience assisting with my mother’s dog walking business, TheDogWalkerMichele, where I helped care for both dogs and cats. In addition, I have accompanied my girlfriend on multiple pet sitting and dog walking jobs, assisting with feeding, walking, playtime, and general care for dogs, cats, and kittens. I’m especially experienced with anxious or shy animals and have a calm, patient approach that helps pets build trust and feel safe. I’m also confident in basic behavior management and ensuring pets stay both safe and well-behaved during care. As an engineering student, I bring a detail-oriented and responsible mindset to pet care, making sure each animal is cared for thoughtfully, efficiently, and lovingly. During the summer, I work part-time at Rowan University’s Admissions Office for approximately 20-25 hours per week. My shifts are flexible and scheduled between 8 AM and 4 PM, which allows me to plan my pet care availability around my work schedule. I am generally available early mornings, late afternoons, evenings, and overnight stays. I am also open to house sitting during the week, as long as I am able to step out for my scheduled work shifts during the day. I will always communicate my schedule clearly in advance to ensure pets are properly cared for and never left without attention during appropriate times. Outside of my work hours, I have a flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time to walking, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and respectful environment for every pet in my care. In a client’s home, I treat the space with the same respect I would my own: following all instructions closely, keeping things clean and organized, and ensuring pets remain comfortable in their familiar environment. My focus is always on the pet’s well-being and routine. I make sure they are fed on schedule, given fresh water, exercised appropriately, and provided with plenty of attention, comfort, and supervision. I am attentive to behavior changes and always prioritize safety, especially for anxious pets or those with special needs. I also understand how important trust is when caring for someone’s pet and home, so I communicate clearly, follow directions carefully, and make sure everything is handled responsibly and consistently.
“Lauren provided amazing service! She was attentive, reliable, and treated my sister's cat with so much care. I felt completely at ease knowing she were in her hands. I will definitely be booking her again.”

“Victoria is a very caring and conscientious dog sitter. She genuinely care about my dog, played with him and bonded quickly with my dog. She provided exceptional and professional service. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter.”

About: I adopted two cats of my own in 2019 and have also been cat sitting for over two years. It’s hard to put into words how much I love animals, but caring for them has always been a big part of my life. 🤍 I regularly feed and care for stray cats in my community, and I’ve helped three adult strays find loving forever homes. Whenever I come across a cat or dog in need, I always try to help however I can. 🐾While I'm a cat person at heart, I'm equally passionate about dogs. I gained experience walking dogs of all sizes and temperaments through dog sitting and volunteer. This experience taught me how to read canine body language, handle various behavioral needs, and provide affectionate care. I enjoy walking, cuddling, and spending quality time with dogs to ensure they feel safe, happy, and loved! 🤍I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets. I’ll treat your fur babies just like my own and make sure they are well-fed, cared for, and given plenty of love and attention while they’re with me! :) I’m currently a student and work part-time as a registered nurse, which gives me a lot of flexibility with my schedule. I’m happy to accommodate different schedules and your pet’s specific routine whenever possible. I understand that every pet has their own needs, so I’ll always do my best to work with you and your fur baby! :) I always make sure every pet feels safe and comfortable in their own environment. I follow their usual feeding, walking, litter, play, and potty routines as closely as possible, and I pay close attention to their behavior and body language. I understand that every cat and dog has a different personality, so I respect their boundaries and never force interaction, especially with shy or anxious pets. I’m also careful about keeping doors, windows, leashes, and their surroundings secure. Most importantly, I’ll give them plenty of love and attention while you’re away. I’m also happy to send photos and videos so you can see how your fur baby is doing❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
