About: I have had multiple animals of various types in my home since birth. I enjoy life with pets and have know nothing else. I have experienced all stages of their lives. For 5 years friends and family have trusted me to walk, feed, and sit for their pets. I am recently out of high school. I have lots of free time and could spend loads of it with your pets. About: Pet owner, pet lover! I have been sitting for friends and family since I was a teen. I also grew up around large dogs. I adopted a staffy mix in 2014 and we had 9 great years together before she passed. I’m not ready to adopt again, so until then, I’d like to help others. I’ve also had a few cats in the past and currently have 2! They are both tolerant of dogs and if they are uncomfortable, they will typically leave the room. My friends will bring their dogs when they visit me and my cats do well. I don’t have a yard per se but there is a lot of open space for frequent walks/potty breaks. My apartment complex is very pet-friendly. I am on the 2nd floor, so there are 2 sets of steps that may make it hard for older dogs. I often do overnights and stay with pets in their own home to maximize their comfort and keep their routines intact. I’m flexible based on your individual needs. One of my interests is in animal behavior. I have read many books (my favorites are from Patricia B. McConnell) My philosophy is we are training everyday. Consistency is important to me and for them, so I will ask many questions during the meet and greet stage to understand their needs and know how to best support you both. I look forward to meeting you both! I’m currently doing odd jobs while I search for a full time job. I anticipate having a few days of availability each week where I will be home and able to support a boarder. I am in a pet-friendly apartment complex with lots of open space to walk, though no fenced yard. I also have 2 cats that do well tolerating dog visitors. I have room to set up a crate if they are crate-trained. But most of time can play or hangout wherever while I’m home. Pets are allowed on the furniture and will be supervised. The litter boxes are in the main living space, but are scooped immediately as to avoid unwanted “snacking”.

“Cleo did a fantastic job with twice a day drop in visits for our pup. She was attentive, prompt, communicative, and just overall incredible! Our dog requires twice a day oral medication and she can get finicky with taking it. Cleo was able to get her to take it every time. She also was very perceptive with noticing changes in our dogs eating and bathroom habits which she promptly brought to our attention. We couldn’t be happier with her service and recommend her wholeheartedly for anyone in need of help with their dogs. My current work leaves me with some time I love to fill with animals. I'm a remote worker central to Medford Village, which means I'm often available for last minute services. I grew up on a farm with lots of animals and know more than the average bear about dog behavior. I can recognize when a canine is uncomfortable and needs extra patience or anxious and needs an outlet. I have 3 years experience teaching basic obediance on top of that. If you need a consistent walker, I can teach your dog basic walking etiquette during our walks too. I have my own dog who is extremly friendly and availiable for visits, if you would like a playmate for your pup. He's a jobial, 30lb Beagle/lab mix and up to date on all shots. No extra charge, just let me know you'd like to meet Chester too! We used to work with rescued fighting pitbulls and Chester was the dog used for socalizing. Hes very non-reactive and perfect for socalizing puppies or reactive dogs. I look to provide a simulating experience for your pet and a transparent one for you. I send lots of pics and communicate often. I look forward to connecting to see if were a good fit. I am a remote worker with a fluctuating schedule. I am able to provide last minute and consistent services to my neighbors close by M-F, weekends vary. When in your home, I always make sure everything is locked up before I leave and let you know if I see something out of sorts. When in my home, I have a bonus room set up for dogs, as well as a gated patio they can enjoy.
