About: I've watched cats for family and friends, walked and fed my own crazy big golden retrievers, and cleaned countless poopy backyards. Looking forward to all this and more! I am a student so the early and late summer is quite open for me. I am working at a summer camp from June 22nd until August 14th and so availability then is limited to evenings and weekends. I will ensure that pet is in a safe and loving environment. Tending to their needs but also engaging them in play, pets, and even conversation. Each animal is unique and deserves unique care.

“Sydney is so great! She was willing to stop by and meet our new puppy before sitting. She provided him with all the love and attention he needed when we weren’t home during the day. We couldn’t be more thankful to have such a nice, reliable, and trustworthy person to help us care for our little puppy!!”
About: I am a huge animal lover! I have a Rat Pinscher, a Russian Blue Cat, and a hedgehog named Peanut. I am friendly, patient, and gentle, and I would love to walk or drop in on your pets whenever needed. I am available anytime Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Tuesday: after 4 pm Wednesday: after 1 pm Friday: after 1 pm Latest walking time: 8:30 pm Please tell me about any behavioral tendencies your dog may have BEFORE a walk. I do not walk any bully breeds. I can walk up to 2 dogs at whatever pace they enjoy, and whatever route is best for them! I am able to provide clean water and treats for walks and will take any pet allergies into consideration.
“Andrea took great care of our older cat while we were away on vacation. She provided pictures of our cat living her absolute best life under Andrea’s care. She is very prompt and responsive when you reach out with questions or to book. Will definitely be rebooking with Andrea in the future!”

“Kim has taken such excellent care of our wild maniac of a puppy! She makes sure he gets tons of love and snuggles whether we are away for the day at work or for a few days on a trip. She has also taken great care of our two cats and our house while we were away. Kim goes out of her way to do the little things like bringing in the mail daily. She is wonderful!”

About: I’m a college student who has grown up with pets my entire life. I've pet sat for dogs, cats, rats, and a bearded dragon. I have had many pets of my own, so I have a lot of experience when it comes to taking care of animals. I really love all animals from big dogs to fluffy little hamsters and being around them always puts a smile on my face :) I have a lot of time at home during summer since I am back from college so I will be able to spend a lot of time with the animals. I usually go to the gym on weeknights, but I can easily move my schedule around to accommodate for specific pet care times. I currently have no pets of my own but have a large fenced in backyard. Whether at my house or yours, the pets I take care of will always have enough playtime and be taken on walks. I will make sure they get all their meals and plenty of treats if the owner would like!
“Kayleigh did an excellent job with my Sophia. She met her in advance so she would feel comfortable with her. My cat seems happy and content upon my arrival back from vacation. Highly recommend!!!”

About: I am in my 10th year of working as a dog walker & pet sitter for small local companies, but I am new to Rover. I’m certified in first aid and CPR for dogs and cats. I am also a member of the Association of Professional Pet Sitters. I’m passionate about rescue animals. In addition to my own adopted pets, I’ve fostered dogs and kittens and am involved as a volunteer in transporting adoptable dogs between rescues. I look forward to meeting your pets and providing them with loving care, exercise, & companionship. My full time job as a nurse is on night shift and my schedule varies, so check my calendar! My availability is mostly during the day. I am happy to provide care for your pet to comply with your requests and their preferences. If they’re energetic and like to be active with fast paced walks, great! If they’d rather a leisurely stroll around the neighborhood and check out the smells, that’s fine with me! They like to play fetch in the backyard or just relax with snuggles on the couch? I’ve got it.
“It was such a relief to find someone as professional and awesome as Leah. This was he first time that I had to leave my dog behind on a trip since he was diagnosed with diabetes and It gave me great comfort knowing Leah was handling his insulin injections twice a day! I will definitely be requesting Leah for my next international travel!!”

About: I am a Mechanical Engineering student with an Art minor, but my true passion has always been animals. I believe pets deserve the same love, respect, and care as people, and I take that responsibility seriously. I currently care for five of my own pets, including three dogs of different sizes, a cat, and two guinea pigs. I’ve also owned cats in the past, so I have long-term, hands-on experience with both cats and dogs across different life stages and personalities. I have frequently been responsible for their full care independently, including feeding, walking, enrichment, and monitoring health and behavior. One of my dogs has severe anxiety and a pollen allergy, which has given me experience caring for animals with special needs, including close attention to symptoms, environmental triggers, and comfort management. I’m confident in recognizing signs of illness or distress and knowing when to seek veterinary attention. I also gained hands-on experience assisting with my mother’s dog walking business, TheDogWalkerMichele, where I helped care for both dogs and cats. In addition, I have accompanied my girlfriend on multiple pet sitting and dog walking jobs, assisting with feeding, walking, playtime, and general care for dogs, cats, and kittens. I’m especially experienced with anxious or shy animals and have a calm, patient approach that helps pets build trust and feel safe. I’m also confident in basic behavior management and ensuring pets stay both safe and well-behaved during care. As an engineering student, I bring a detail-oriented and responsible mindset to pet care, making sure each animal is cared for thoughtfully, efficiently, and lovingly. During the summer, I work part-time at Rowan University’s Admissions Office for approximately 20-25 hours per week. My shifts are flexible and scheduled between 8 AM and 4 PM, which allows me to plan my pet care availability around my work schedule. I am generally available early mornings, late afternoons, evenings, and overnight stays. I am also open to house sitting during the week, as long as I am able to step out for my scheduled work shifts during the day. I will always communicate my schedule clearly in advance to ensure pets are properly cared for and never left without attention during appropriate times. Outside of my work hours, I have a flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time to walking, feeding, playtime, and companionship. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and respectful environment for every pet in my care. In a client’s home, I treat the space with the same respect I would my own: following all instructions closely, keeping things clean and organized, and ensuring pets remain comfortable in their familiar environment. My focus is always on the pet’s well-being and routine. I make sure they are fed on schedule, given fresh water, exercised appropriately, and provided with plenty of attention, comfort, and supervision. I am attentive to behavior changes and always prioritize safety, especially for anxious pets or those with special needs. I also understand how important trust is when caring for someone’s pet and home, so I communicate clearly, follow directions carefully, and make sure everything is handled responsibly and consistently.
About: I am an Animal Science major in college and am proficient in dog and cat care. I am comfortable with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and training levels. I am home from college for the summer and working part time with a flexible schedule! I am available to work weekends and most weekdays. I always prioritize the safety of the animal I am caring for. I know basic first aid for dogs and have shadowed at a small animal clinic. I work to provide a calm and safe environment for the animals I am caring for!
“Sandy is AMAZING!!!! You can tell she absolutely loves pets and does a wonderful job caring for them. I got photos of my cats playing every day with her and she even stayed later than she had to on some visits. I’m definitely booking with her again!”
“Alyssa was so wonderful with our puppy! He warmed to her right away! She kept us updated while she was there and was just a joy to interact with. Definitely recommend! :)”

About: My family and I have had dogs and cats a part of our family for my entire life. I have had dogs in the family since I was little; and most recently have had the pleasure of three lovely ladies; two of which we have raised from puppies. I can care for dogs both young and old, as well as cats. I also have cats in my family, including some with health issues. My life revolves around my pets, and I’d love for your pets to be a part of that too! I’m working part time currently, as well as completing my high school education, but other than that my schedule is pretty open; specifically in afternoons or weekend mornings! I have crated dog experience, hyper dog experience, older dog experience, big/heavy dog experience, dog and cat interaction experience, and multiple dogs in a household experience.

“Kimberly has been reliable and very communicative. She manages walking our sometimes stubborn, young adult dogs very well. Highly recommend. She is flexible and tolerates our erratic schedule without complaint.”

Medford dog parents share their Rover experiences
Our normal pet sitter wasn’t available for a last minute trip and I’m so glad we found Bri! She was so sweet and attentive to our two fur babies while we were gone. She was also super flexible when we needed to make a schedule change for one of her visits. I would highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs!

Sophie was amazing and accommodating us last minute and checking in on our puppy, Remi! She communicated well and our dog was happy to see her when she came to check in and walk her. Sophie even was available for a last minute meet & greet to get to know our shy pup before checking in on her later that week. Thank you so much Sophie!
