About: I have had a dog most of my life, and I love taking care of my family and friends' dogs. I have a 10 year old daughter who loves animals and will give your dog lots of attention. ** MUST be kid friendly** I work from home most of the time so my schedule is flexible. I am able to provide regular walks, provide lots of play time and frequent bathroom breaks. I have a quite a large yard and live in a neighborhood with plenty of space for long walks. However, the yard is not fenced in. ** I only accept one dog at a time, unless they are currently living together.

About: Hi there! I’ve grown up with pets my whole life. I got my first dog when I was 7—a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She remained my best friend my whole life until a couple of years ago when she passed away. I also used to pet sit for family friends quite often on the weekends. They have a Golden Retriever and a Rottweiler, so I have plenty of experience caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities. I now live with my Yellow Lab, Otis! He’s my best buddy and a senior rescue dog. We’ve had quite a journey together because he came to us with some trauma and was very underweight. With lots of patience, love, and consistency, we’ve helped bring him back to life. We’re always working on his skills and tricks, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to watch him grow in confidence. I grew up having pets and understand the importance of prioritizing that factor in my life. I always find time to make that a habit in my week! I spend time with them when I have free time! Whether that’s playing, tug of war, going on walks, watching TV, or simply hanging out (and sometimes I can bring my guitar! “Kim is literally the best. 11 out of 10 highly recommend. I have her come and let my pups out during the day and feed them lunch as I am a full time nurse who works three long days a week. My dogs LOVE Kim (which is the most important thing to me) and she absolutely goes above and beyond what I ever asked her to do. For example, my husband asked why I was leaving bagged poo outside during the week and I told him that I had not been doing that which was when I realized that Kim actually picks up after them when they poop while she is here. I never once asked her to do this but she is amazing and she does it anyway. This is just one small example of how amazing she is. She is worth her weight in gold. My husband was very skeptical of having a "stranger" come into our house (we are a military family who recently moved to the area) to let our dogs out but he now even goes on about how amazing she is and he never even met her. About: Pet owner, pet lover! I have been sitting for friends and family since I was a teen. I also grew up around large dogs. I adopted a staffy mix in 2014 and we had 9 great years together before she passed. I’m not ready to adopt again, so until then, I’d like to help others. I’ve also had a few cats in the past and currently have 2! They are both tolerant of dogs and if they are uncomfortable, they will typically leave the room. My friends will bring their dogs when they visit me and my cats do well. I don’t have a yard per se but there is a lot of open space for frequent walks/potty breaks. My apartment complex is very pet-friendly. I am on the 2nd floor, so there are 2 sets of steps that may make it hard for older dogs. I often do overnights and stay with pets in their own home to maximize their comfort and keep their routines intact. I’m flexible based on your individual needs. One of my interests is in animal behavior. I have read many books (my favorites are from Patricia B. McConnell) My philosophy is we are training everyday. Consistency is important to me and for them, so I will ask many questions during the meet and greet stage to understand their needs and know how to best support you both. I look forward to meeting you both! I’m currently doing odd jobs while I search for a full time job. I anticipate having a few days of availability each week where I will be home and able to support a boarder. I am in a pet-friendly apartment complex with lots of open space to walk, though no fenced yard. I also have 2 cats that do well tolerating dog visitors. I have room to set up a crate if they are crate-trained. But most of time can play or hangout wherever while I’m home. Pets are allowed on the furniture and will be supervised. The litter boxes are in the main living space, but are scooped immediately as to avoid unwanted “snacking”.

About: I’ve taken care of many different kinds of dogs, mainly small to medium because I had small dogs until recently. I sometimes Foster for a few rescues as well.
