“Oakley has improved SO much since she’s been walking with Zosha. She is incredible and understands dog behaviors/body language. She always knows when Oakley needs a slow walk, long play session, or exciting adventures.”

“Jiayi is very reliable, communicative, and caring! She takes wonderful care of our dog and gives him a good length walk with time for him to explore. I highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Esteban quickly became my puppy's very best friend (I hope my kids don't see this). My puppy returns from walks and passes out for hours. Esteban is reliable and my puppy is always excited to go on their walks. He also communicates well and gives great updates on any activity from the walk.”

About: Hi! I’m Courtney, and I love dogs and have lots of experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds from Chihuahuas to Pit bull terriers to Great Danes. I have worked for humane societies for years walking shelter dogs and helping with basic training and grooming, so I have lots of experience with dogs of all sizes including strong, highly active dogs that require an experienced controlled dog walker/sitter. I’m a firm believer in clear, calm communication with any dog that I am working with and I only use positive reinforcement. I work from home part time and have lots of time to dedicate to your pup! I’m responsible and respectful, as well as, punctual, and will happily give your pup all my love and attention! I’m available daily for dog walks and boarding and I currently have a small group of regular dogs that come on different weekdays for doggie daycare. My yard and entire property is fully fenced with a 6ft wood privacy fence and there is an extra gate between the front and back yards. I’m available pretty much anytime for dog walks but I do run a doggie daycare (max 5 dogs per day) in my home with my partner between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Thursday. My current group of regulars (that come varying weekdays) includes dogs ranging from 15 - 85 pounds and almost all the dogs are between 3 and 5 years old. I also offer boarding for up to 2 dogs per night but usually I am booked out 4-6 weeks ahead of time. I live in West Oakland (very close to the Bart station!) and my home and yard are very secure with a 6ft tall redwood fence surrounding the entire property. My yard is pretty large and great for off leash fun as it’s completely safe and secure. I live only with my husband and our two very friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who loves every dog they has ever met. Oliver even has a way of making dogs that are usually not dog friendly play as if they were a puppy - it seems to be his super power! While Opal is just a love who is always ready for fun in the yard or cuddles on the couch.

“Jennifer was lovely, attentive, and a great communicator. We just adopted our dog and he has little bursts of aggression and Jennifer was kind enough to come by before their first walk to test the waters. Everything turned out great and Jennifer sent updates and pictures throughout his walks. We will definitely work with her again.”

“Stephanie has been so great with my dog Maya. After starting a new job and moving to a new city, I didn’t have any support to help with my dog. Stephanie has been so helpful with all these changes. Maya can be a bit nervous around new people but she warmed up to Stephanie really fast and gets so excited to see her! Stephanie is so great- she is a very reliable person, trustworthy, a great communicator and great with dogs. I’m so happy I found her and that Maya really enjoys her company!”

“Matt was great! He came and met us the day before our walk/drop in, it was nice knowing he would know exactly where everything was and what to do. During the drop in he sent updates and pics! We will use him again. Thank you again, Matt!”

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience and calm, confident approach to pet care. I grew up caring for a German Shepherd and, starting at 16, three bulldogs—so I’m comfortable with big personalities, strong breeds, and all the drool that comes with them! I’ve also dog-sat for friends and taken their pups on regular walks, including those with anxiety or special routines. I’m patient, observant, and always make sure pets feel safe and loved while their humans are away. Whether your dog needs a running buddy, your senior cat needs a quiet companion, or your anxious pup just needs someone who understands—I’m here. I’m a morning person with a flexible schedule. Avid runner so can work with high energy dogs. I’m also available for evening walks and check-ins—perfect for pets with routines or extra energy. I’m able to provide more schedule details. I prioritize comfort, safety, and trust. I take time to get to know each pet’s personality and routine—whether that’s quiet companionship for cats or daily walks and play for dogs. On walks, I stay alert and avoid unfamiliar dogs unless I have permission to interact, always keeping your pet’s safety first. For cats, I create a calm, low-stress environment, keep their space tidy, and respect their boundaries.

“Laura was a reliable, kind, and communicative. She provided detailed updates which were especially important because our dog had some health issues. She also sent the best photos! We will definitely be re-booking Laura!”

About: I’ve dog sat for friends and family in the past 2 years and I’ve loved the experience. Happy to provide references and chat more about my experience. My best friend lives on my floor and we take walks with his dog every morning and evening so it’s very well incorporated in my schedule I make my place conducive for pets since I have one visit often. No cords laying around, vacuumed floors and room temperature thermostat. This also applies to client apartments

About: I've been living with pets since I was a baby and since then have taken on a large role in their care. I love going on walks and taking pups to experience the outside world. I've been petsitting for family, friends and neighbors for about 8 years now and I'm so excited to meet your furry friends! I just completed high school and this summer I am going to take a community college class which is on mondays and wednesdays from 1:30-5:45pm. Other than that I am free to spend time with your pets! I will keep a keen eye on your pets and I am very good at assuring doors are closed and food is put away (my dog has been know to steal things from the counters and try to escape so I'm used to lil rascals).

About: I will care and love for your dog just as much as you do. I've done occasional dog sitting over the last couple of years, and I always have such a great time with the dogs that I care for. I'm often called a dog whisperer because most dogs just gravitate towards me. I am unable to have a dog of my own at the moment so having the opportunity to care for yours would be amazing. I love the pureness, and sincerity of a dog's character. I understand that your pet is family, and I will always treat them as such, their care is of the utmost importance to me. (However ,for the time being I can provide part-time care for your loved one )

About: I've been around dogs most of my life and have cared for them for 5+ years. My first dog was a dobermann, second a chihuahua, and now a husky/jindo mix - so I have lots of experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments! My friends and I also have a dog community where we take care of each other's dogs when we are away, so I am used to having multiple dogs in my home at a time. I work from home almost all days of the week so I am available to take your pet out for walks for about 3-4x a day! Nori's walk schedule is at 7am (30 mins), 12pm (20 mins), 5pm (1 hour), and 9pm (20 mins). I live in a 3 story townhome with my wife and have a backyard with turf for the dogs to go potty. The first floor is my office and is gated off with a dog gate leading up to the second. If your dog and mine need to be separated for any reason, I am able to easily do so. If your dog is crate trained, I am also happy to crate them and continue your training as you like!

“Sophie has been amazing with my girl Rosie as she adjusts to city life. She has made a huge impact on keeping her calm and helping keep her active by giving her good exercise and working with to stay calm and focused while encountering squirrels, other dogs and loud noises on their walks. I have noticed such a change due to Sophie's interventions. Sophie is prompt, communicative and kind. A one of a kind! Rosie adores her!”

About: Hi! My name is Frankie (they/them). I am originally from Australia, and moved to the Bay Area ten years ago to work with disability arts organizations. I’m a life long dog lover, I’ve raised two large dogs from puppyhood to adulthood, taken care of small dogs and puppies, as well as elderly dogs, and am comfortable with dogs of all sizes! I currently regularly walk and play with several small and large dogs. I have experience dogsitting up to 15 days for all kinds of dogs including high energy dogs. I have raised and lived with more cats than I can count on both hands. Some other hats I wear are artist, writer, admin wizard, and swim teacher. Looking forward to meeting you and your fur baby! I am currently working a part time flexible schedule, so I can be very flexible with dog care. I love to schedule in time to play and exercise with my doggy friends. I have a fenced yard, and a gated area in my home for my dog. My dog loves to play with other dogs! In other homes I take it slow letting the dog get used to me by having plenty of time to smell and lick me so we have time to bond before we play or walk together.

Frances F.
“Frances is awesome and super reliable!! I have a 2 year old Aussie cattle dog mix with lots of energy and Frances has gone above and beyond talking her on proper hikes and doggie adventures while I am at work. Every time I get home on days that Frances takes her out, she is super happy and tired, which means I also get more time for myself after work. If you’re looking for a dog walker who will actually stimulate and care for your dog, they are the one!”
