Jenny + Megan are responsible, reliant, and absolutely in love with their dog friends, not to mention flexible and easy-going—they treated Sunday like their own and I feel so thankful to have found such loving people to look after my girl. About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life, beginning with my childhood growing up on a farm. That early, hands-on exposure taught me the fundamentals of animal care, daily routines, and how to read animal behavior. This transitioned into professional work as a dog trainer at Happy Hound play and daycare in Oakland where I trained and cared for dogs both at the center and on park walks and in home visits. I am able to confidently handle pets of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels from puppies needing structure and basic obedience to older dogs requiring a gentle, patient approach. I have a background in housing and caring for animals. I currently share my home with my own pet, Baloo and my housemates pet Bentley my living space is always dog-friendly. About: I am a dog walker and trainer based in Emeryville. I am currently working towards my CTC to improve my training skills. I have experience training dogs big and small in single and multi dog homes. I use positive reinforcement (usually food) in my training and do not use aversive tools for training. I love teaching all sorts of behaviors, but especially love training good manners and leash walking skills. I offer regular dog walking for enrichment and exercise as well as training walks that work on walking and public behaviors. For pet sitting: I have owned large and small dogs, cats, insects, rats, fish, and other birds. I have owned a diabetic dog who requires insulin twice a day and a cat who received pills every day for her thyroid. I have experience giving medicine both orally and via shot using positive reinforcement. (Or with me if that's what your dog prefers). Time I'll spend with your dog I work from home. I generally try not to leave dogs on their own, in particular on their first night when they are likely to be more anxious. If I step out, I won't be gone longer than 4 hours.

About: I grew up with all kinds of family pets and including adopting my own puppy at 17. Since moving to Oakland I’ve been lucky to live with several cats and dogs of roommates of all dispositions (both the roommates and their pets) and now my fiancée and I have a perfect baby angel cat son. About: I took care of my aunt’s dog named Batman for 8 years until my aunt moved away. Ever since I have always enjoyed taking care of animals like dogs, cats, hamsters, fish and chickens! I currently work Sun-Thurs from 1pm to 9:30pm. I don’t have anything that needs my attention before I need to get to work! I am fully free Friday and Saturdays! “Natasha took good care of Kona and gave us a detailed update multiple times with photos for the night we had Kona over at hers. She understood his personality and was able to help him get familiar with his new environment quick and be a snuggle buddy that he is. Sage was also friendly and got along with him as we saw them going on walks together on the photos. Loved it for Kona that he got to experience Sage and his mama! Kona will for sure be back. About: I grew up with a golden retriever for 13 years. She was loyal, had so much energy and was full of life. We were inseparable. I took her on a daily walk each day and made sure commands were reviewed. After she went to the other side of the rainbow I was able to take care of my friends dog for the last 2 years whenever she needed him to go out, stay the weekend, or just come in for kisses and hugs. I am always there. I love walking, feeding and cuddles. I love the way dogs crave attention and compassion and that I am able to give them that. I feel very calm when around furry friends and am able to show that around animals I have been with. Thank you for your time! I work remotely so it is easy for me to go on walks and drop ins for your furry friend! There are so many adventures out there! I will make sure to follow all the rules you set out for me and I dedicate my time to your furry one with compassion and love.
