About: I have grown up with pets my whole like and have a dog and a cat of my own. I have pet sat many times before from cats to multiple dogs. I personally love walking so I love taking a dog with me! Always willing to help pet owners with whatever they need! I am currently a student at Boise State University. I do not have a job outside of school so I definitely have free time to watch over your pets! I am available Tuesday anytime after 2, Thursday anytime after 2, and all day Friday-Monday! At my own home, I have to make sure my cat stays inside so he doesn’t wonder off. I always make sure doors are closed in the areas he is in. I even have a small cattio (cat patio) which is an enclosed space he can sit in to get fresh air outside. My dog gets a lot of exercise and spends some time swimming in the pool!

About: I have been taking care of family/friend pets through the entirety of high school and afterwards. I have worked with a positive feedback trainer with my dog and have been able to apply those teachings to other behaviors in animals. I also know how to handle medications for dogs, from pills, intestine liquids, and topical creams. I absolutely adore big dogs and will totally let them be lap dogs. I love little dogs, even if they try to be ferocious creatures. I work a part-time job and am focusing most of my free time to medical concerns. I traditionally work in the early morning, 6-12. This leaves my afternoons free for the pets, but I can figure out how to care for them in the morning if necessary. Beyond that, I want to maintain active with the animals, playing, cuddling and taking for walks. I have 3 dogs of varying sizes (8, 25, & 100). They have different diets and activity levels, but all maintain their appropriate body weight. We have a fenced backyard for them to roam around in. The big dog is an anxious creature so he gets put in the crate when everyone leaves the house. I specifically worked with him on it and he has done wonderfully with positive reinforcement. I am able to transfer this knowledge to other animals, it might just take a few tries. Access to treats might help 😋. For walks, I can handle dogs big dogs and the ones that pull pretty well. I refuse to use choke chains and shock collars. If they are wearing one, I would like (with your permission) to switch it for a regular collar during the time of my stay.

Aaron stayed with my kitty, Paris for an entire week (which is the longest I've ever been away from her in 14 years) and things could not have gone better. He showed up promptly when he said he'd be there. He sent me updates and pics throughout the day ever single day even on days I told him I wouldn't have service. It was so nice to open my phone and have updates from the day before even though I wasn't expecting them. It was an even better feeling knowing that Aaron truly spent a lot of time with Paris as she is old, sassy, and needy for attention. Aaron was even there when I returned home in order to exchange keys and answer any questions that I had while I was away. It's obvious that Aaron truly cares about his work and his love for animals. I would absolutely book Aaron again and you should too!”

About: Just a girl looking to spend time with some cute dogs and earn a little extra cash, love to spend free time taking care of dogs and making their day enjoyable, willing to learn / accommodate any specific needs for any animal. Sightseeing available upon request. Would love to get to know all the things your pet likes and dislikes to make their time spent a good one. All dogs of all ages welcome, experience with puppies with loads of energy and many dogs that may be older and slower. No matter the size big or small each adventure will be fit to your own dogs needs and wants. I look forward to meeting you and your loved ones in the near future, thank you I’m currently working and my schedule varies so I’m mostly available for drop in/walks throughout the week and more available for overnight stays over the weekends but I’m open to what you may need. I currently share an apartment with two cats that are only comfortable with each other so I’m unfortunately unable to bring any cats in for an overnight stay but can go to you instead. They don’t have much experience with dogs but if yours is friendly we can work something out.

About: Hello! We are looking to help people out in our free time with pet care. Please note we can only accept small dogs who are good with cats for day care/boarding at this time. Please let us know a few times you are available for a meet and greet before hand to ensure it is a good fit! We have two cats and one dog; and between the two of us have many years of experience with cats, puppies and senior dogs. Audrie also volunteers at the local pet shelter and has gained a bit of knowledge in dog training. We will be on time, provide lots of photos while you are away, and be certain to follow your instructions exactly as written. We look forward to meeting you and your pets! Between the two of us, we are very flexible. Our only routine is walking our dog in the morning and evening, and feeding our animals twice per day. We have a fenced backyard, and let our pets go out when they want, but mostly they stay inside. We take our dog on two walks daily. We will follow whatever direction you have. Because of our cats, we can only accept small dogs into our home for boarding, but can go to your home as needed.

About: Hi! I’m 26, a Boise State graduate and former Honors College student, and I’m currently working toward my master’s degree. I also work at St. Luke’s three days a week, which gives me a really flexible schedule and plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and pet sitting. I’ve been around animals my whole life and have experience with pets that have very different personalities and needs. I grew up with a cat, lived with a very reactive Pit Bull in college, and now have a 6-month-old Lab puppy of my own. Because of that, I’m comfortable with everything from puppy energy and basic training to dogs that need a little more patience, structure, and awareness of their surroundings. Having my own puppy has definitely reminded me how much work goes into raising a young dog! I’m very used to potty schedules, frequent walks, reinforcing good habits, keeping puppies entertained, and making sure they don’t get into absolutely everything they can find. I’m extremely responsible, organized, and dependable, but I’m also the kind of person who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. I know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your pet with someone new, and I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re being cared for by someone who will pay attention to their routine, personality, safety, and all the little details you give me. Whether your pet is an energetic puppy, a reactive dog who needs some extra patience, or a cat who prefers to do their own thing, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at and treat them like one of my own. I work 3 days a week and very rarely on weekends so I am very flexible and have a really easy ability to move my schedule around to come see your pet. I am very good at following directions and take pet safety very seriously. I am sure I accommodate your dog whether that means you have a large backyard or you live in a small apartment and the dog is crate trained.

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. I've always owned dogs, including German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Border Collies, and other high energy working breeds. I also grew up caring for horses, goats, dogs, cats, and just about every other animal you can think of. Along the way, I attended basic obedience classes with my own dogs where we learned clicker training and positive reinforcement techniques. Today, I have a German Shepherd and a cat of my own, and I know just how much our pets mean to us. Friends and neighbors have trusted me to care for their pets over the years, and it has always been something I genuinely enjoy. I'm on Rover because spending time with animals simply makes me happy. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else, and I don't take that trust lightly. When your pet is with me, I'll care for them the same way I care for my own, with patience, lots of love, and attention to their individual needs. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. I own my own business, which gives me the flexibility to create my own schedule. Because of that, I'm rarely away for more than a few hours at a time, allowing me to provide attentive care and plenty of companionship for your pet. I'll always do my best to accommodate your scheduling needs and make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. I am always the person worrying about my own pets and their unique needs when I'm away from the house. This means I will always follow your instructions and care for your pet in extreme detail. My parents allowed me to adopt my first cat from a shelter when I was seven, and she remained my beloved companion until she was 14. When she developed diabetes, I learned to administer her insulin injections twice daily. With consistent care, she lived three additional happy years beyond what we initially thought possible. I have always felt a special connection with animals of every kind, including both cats and dogs. Animals naturally bring me a sense of peace, and caring for them is something I find genuinely meaningful. As a U.S. Air Force veteran and former firefighter/EMT, I am dependable, observant, safety-conscious, and calm during unexpected situations. I am comfortable following detailed care instructions, maintaining routines, caring for senior pets, and administering injectable medication when properly instructed. I will treat your pets with the same patience, affection, and attention I give my own. I currently have a very flexible schedule while building my personal art business, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care. I am available throughout the week for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and companionship. I can also accommodate many morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday requests. I understand that pets thrive on consistency, so being dependable and arriving at the agreed-upon time will always be a priority. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and established routine will always come first. In a client’s home, I carefully follow all feeding, medication, exercise, and household instructions. I make sure doors, gates, leashes, and harnesses are secure, keep potentially harmful items out of reach, and never force interaction with a nervous or shy animal. About: I am a huge dog lover! Growing up with dogs around, I've gained experience in caring for them in all areas. I am a huge fan of the outdoors and being active, so I love taking dogs for runs or walks and have pretty open availability! I love all different kinds of dogs, and the size or breed doesn't matter to me. I'm great with getting them potty-trained and can learn different training techniques quickly and easily. I believe that a dog needs the right amount of attention, exercise and diet for them to be happy, and I have the skills to gauge what each breed might need depending on their temperament. She even offered to stay longer so that the cat would not be left alone on the day that we were traveling home. Additionally, she called to check on the cat after we returned.
