About: Cats have been an important part of my life since childhood. I adopted my first cat from a shelter when I was seven years old, and she was by my side until she was 14. After she developed diabetes, I administered her insulin injections twice daily and carefully monitored her health. That consistent care helped save her life and gave us three additional years together that were never guaranteed. Please let us know a few times you are available for a meet and greet before hand to ensure it is a good fit! We have two cats and one dog; and between the two of us have many years of experience with cats, puppies and senior dogs. Audrie also volunteers at the local pet shelter and has gained a bit of knowledge in dog training. We will be on time, provide lots of photos while you are away, and be certain to follow your instructions exactly as written. We look forward to meeting you and your pets! Between the two of us, we are very flexible. Our only routine is walking our dog in the morning and evening, and feeding our animals twice per day. We have a fenced backyard, and let our pets go out when they want, but mostly they stay inside. We take our dog on two walks daily. We will follow whatever direction you have. About: I have grown up with pets my whole like and have a dog and a cat of my own. I have pet sat many times before from cats to multiple dogs. I personally love walking so I love taking a dog with me! Always willing to help pet owners with whatever they need! I am currently a student at Boise State University. I do not have a job outside of school so I definitely have free time to watch over your pets! I am available Tuesday anytime after 2, Thursday anytime after 2, and all day Friday-Monday! At my own home, I have to make sure my cat stays inside so he doesn’t wonder off. I always make sure doors are closed in the areas he is in. I even have a small cattio (cat patio) which is an enclosed space he can sit in to get fresh air outside. My dog gets a lot of exercise and spends some time swimming in the pool!
About: I have been taking care of family/friend pets through the entirety of high school and afterwards. I have worked with a positive feedback trainer with my dog and have been able to apply those teachings to other behaviors in animals. I also know how to handle medications for dogs, from pills, intestine liquids, and topical creams. I absolutely adore big dogs and will totally let them be lap dogs. I love little dogs, even if they try to be ferocious creatures. I work a part-time job and am focusing most of my free time to medical concerns. I traditionally work in the early morning, 6-12. This leaves my afternoons free for the pets, but I can figure out how to care for them in the morning if necessary. Beyond that, I want to maintain active with the animals, playing, cuddling and taking for walks. I have 3 dogs of varying sizes (8, 25, & 100). They have different diets and activity levels, but all maintain their appropriate body weight. We have a fenced backyard for them to roam around in. The big dog is an anxious creature so he gets put in the crate when everyone leaves the house. I specifically worked with him on it and he has done wonderfully with positive reinforcement. I am able to transfer this knowledge to other animals, it might just take a few tries. Access to treats might help 😋. For walks, I can handle dogs big dogs and the ones that pull pretty well. I refuse to use choke chains and shock collars. If they are wearing one, I would like (with your permission) to switch it for a regular collar during the time of my stay.
About: Hi! I’m 26, a Boise State graduate and former Honors College student, and I’m currently working toward my master’s degree. I also work at St. Luke’s three days a week, which gives me a really flexible schedule and plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and pet sitting. I’ve been around animals my whole life and have experience with pets that have very different personalities and needs. I grew up with a cat, lived with a very reactive Pit Bull in college, and now have a 6-month-old Lab puppy of my own. Having my own puppy has definitely reminded me how much work goes into raising a young dog! I’m very used to potty schedules, frequent walks, reinforcing good habits, keeping puppies entertained, and making sure they don’t get into absolutely everything they can find. I’m extremely responsible, organized, and dependable, but I’m also the kind of person who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. About: I am a huge dog lover! Growing up with dogs around, I've gained experience in caring for them in all areas. I am a huge fan of the outdoors and being active, so I love taking dogs for runs or walks and have pretty open availability! I love all different kinds of dogs, and the size or breed doesn't matter to me. I'm great with getting them potty-trained and can learn different training techniques quickly and easily. I believe that a dog needs the right amount of attention, exercise and diet for them to be happy, and I have the skills to gauge what each breed might need depending on their temperament. I can be contacted at any time of the day, and am looking to do as much as possible to supplement my income.
