About: I have been taking care of family/friend pets through the entirety of high school and afterwards. I have worked with a positive feedback trainer with my dog and have been able to apply those teachings to other behaviors in animals. I also know how to handle medications for dogs, from pills, intestine liquids, and topical creams. I absolutely adore big dogs and will totally let them be lap dogs. I love little dogs, even if they try to be ferocious creatures. I work a part-time job and am focusing most of my free time to medical concerns. I traditionally work in the early morning, 6-12. This leaves my afternoons free for the pets, but I can figure out how to care for them in the morning if necessary. Beyond that, I want to maintain active with the animals, playing, cuddling and taking for walks. I have 3 dogs of varying sizes (8, 25, & 100). They have different diets and activity levels, but all maintain their appropriate body weight. We have a fenced backyard for them to roam around in. The big dog is an anxious creature so he gets put in the crate when everyone leaves the house. I specifically worked with him on it and he has done wonderfully with positive reinforcement. I am able to transfer this knowledge to other animals, it might just take a few tries. Access to treats might help 😋. For walks, I can handle dogs big dogs and the ones that pull pretty well. I refuse to use choke chains and shock collars. If they are wearing one, I would like (with your permission) to switch it for a regular collar during the time of my stay.

They are the most wonderful sitters ever! Worth every penny. They helped put away our grocery delivery that occurred earlier than anticipated to make sure the food didn’t spoil. They refilled our bird feeders! And of course took exceptional care of our pup! Thanks so much for a great visit again! They come highly recommended by my partner and I!

About: I’ve had many pups in my life but right now I do not have any pups living in my home. I’ve been enjoying spending time with all my rover friends! My home has a fenced backyard and a common area dog run. I work from home so I will be around to play, give treats and go on walks all day! Dogs are allowed on the furniture and beds here. Working from home means I will be hanging with the pups almost all day every day except for errands. Walks every couple hours and lots of snuggles on the couch! There are no children in the home. I have a fenced yard for running and playing. I have a large kennel/crate inside the house in case your pup needs it and have lots of toys and dog beds for lounging. Stop by for a meet and greet if you would like before booking! I typically only leave the house for an hour or so a day to use the gym down the road. The pups are free to roam my home as if it was their own while I am out. Doors stay locked and no one enters unless the pets are secured so no one darts out the door! Food stays off countertops so there are no human snacks available to be snuck. Poop is scooped after every go!

About: I’ve been caring for pets most of my life. I’ve had a dog since I was 10 years old and have also cared for my cat for the past 4 years. In addition to my own pets, I regularly walk and look after family friends’ dogs and cats, giving me experience with different breeds, personalities, and needs. I am unavailable Tuesday through Thursday due to having classes on those days, but I am available the rest of the week. I do have to set aside time to do school work, but I am confident that I will be able to balance my work load and taking good care of your 4-legged baby! When I care for pets in their own home, I do my best to keep them comfortable and follow their normal routine. I make sure they get fresh food and water, daily walks or playtime, and plenty of attention. I’m reliable about following any special instructions you provide, whether that’s giving medications, sticking to a feeding schedule, or keeping up with their favorite activities. I treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I am also more than happy to send photo updates to mom or dad if wanted:)

About: Hi! I’m Annahi – a Boise-based animal lover with tons of experience and a big heart for pets! 🐶🐱 I'm a lifelong pet lover with several years of experience dog and cat sitting for friends, family, and happy Rover clients. Whether it's energetic puppies, senior dogs needing a little extra TLC, or shy kitties who need a calm presence—I love them all and treat every animal like family. As a Boise local, I’m familiar with all the best walking routes, parks, and pet-friendly spots. I’m comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and I always prioritize safety, communication, and making your pets feel happy and at home while you're away. Whether you need drop-in visits, long walks, or overnight care, I’ve got you covered. I’ll send regular updates, cute pics, and ensure peace of mind while you're away. Can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends! As an esthetician with a flexible schedule, I usually see no more than 4 clients a day and rarely work past 4 PM. This allows me plenty of time to provide attentive, consistent care for pets throughout the day—whether it’s morning visits, afternoon walks, or evening check-ins. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I love spending my free time with animals. I unfortunately could not watch your fur babies in my home — but I am a trusting guest. Plus you can almost guarantee you will enter your space neater than you left it!

FAQs for Drop-In Visits - Regina

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 592 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Regina. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Regina. On Rover:

  • 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
