I am familiar and can easily handle the strength and slobber of a big dog, while also maintaining the delicate and agile spirit of a little pup. My dog, Josie, has bad skin allergies and terrible anxiety. She hates to see me leave, some times not even getting a drink or eating until I am back. I know it can be so hard to leave a pet, especially when you know they miss you so much, but I hope I can be the easement for both your baby and you that they will be safe and okay! I am also a waitress, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I am willing to work around your needs. :) I will ensure to keep your pet comfortable and relaxed. My dog personally has dealt with anxiety her whole life, especially separation anxiety, so I know it can be difficult to leave a pet with a new person. I can and will follow any instructions as that you give me or leave out for me to follow. I want to make the process as easy as I can for you. I can send updates all throughout the day with pictures, messages, or even a call. I want to ensure both you and your baby are comfortable and feel at ease when I come to help! “I recently had the pleasure of having Gabby as my dog sitter through Rover, and I can't recommend her highly enough! From the moment I met her, it was clear that she has a genuine love for animals. She took the time to understand my dogs's needs and made sure they were well-fed and cared for. What truly impressed me was how Gabby went above and beyond her duties. Not only did she take great care of my dog, but she also vacuumed, cleaned the dishes, and even took the trash out! It was such a relief to come home to a clean space and a happy pups. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely enjoy. Right now I have four cats, two dogs, and two rabbits, so I’m used to taking care of multiple pets with different needs and personalities. One of my dogs is very old and has become blind and deaf, which has taught me a lot about patience, paying attention to details, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable. Caring for him has given me experience working with animals that need a little extra support and attention. I also volunteered at a horse rescue and rehabilitation facility for a year, where I helped with feeding, grooming, cleaning stalls, and caring for horses. Working with horses taught me how to safely handle large animals, stay calm under pressure, and understand animal behavior. It gave me a lot of confidence and responsibility that I still use when caring for pets today. Besides my own animals, I’ve helped care for pets belonging to family, friends, and neighbors over the years. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, litter box cleaning, basic medications, playtime, and making sure pets get plenty of attention while their owners are away. I’m a 19-year-old college student currently on summer break and working part-time, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets because I feel the same way about my own. My goal is always to make pets feel happy, comfortable, and loved while giving their owners peace of mind. ❤️ As a college student on summer break, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability outside of my part-time job. This allows me to dedicate time and attention to each pet’s needs, whether that means drop-in visits, walks, feeding, playtime, or simply providing companionship. I’m reliable, organized, and committed to making sure pets receive consistent, quality care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routines as closely as possible to help their pets feel comfortable and secure. I provide fresh food and water, clean up after pets, ensure they get plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention, and carefully follow any special instructions. I also treat each home with respect and keep pet owners updated so they can have peace of mind while they’re away.
