About: I have loved animals from a very young age, convincing my parents to get me my own dog when I was 10 years old. Her name was Zoey! I trained her myself, and she was my best friend. Not long after that, I began dog sitting for friends and eventually also spent time cat sitting and taking care of animals like chickens and bunnies. I adore pets of all shapes and sizes, and I understand entirely the immense value they have in our lives. I want nothing more than to make you feel safe allowing me to care for your best friends. I am occupied from 8am to 6pm Monday through Friday, but I am free most weekends and available to care for pets in the evenings. I make sure all animals are well fed and watered as fits their schedule. Also, I understand the importance of activity and quality time and make sure to play with them, take them on regular walks, and give them lots of love.
“His Honda was great!!! She sent pictures every time she visited and our pets looked very happy!! Both our dog & cat were happy & calm when we returned!! Will 100% be asking Yushonda back if she’ll have us! -)”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely enjoy. Right now I have four cats, two dogs, and two rabbits, so I’m used to taking care of multiple pets with different needs and personalities. One of my dogs is very old and has become blind and deaf, which has taught me a lot about patience, paying attention to details, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable. Caring for him has given me experience working with animals that need a little extra support and attention. I also volunteered at a horse rescue and rehabilitation facility for a year, where I helped with feeding, grooming, cleaning stalls, and caring for horses. Working with horses taught me how to safely handle large animals, stay calm under pressure, and understand animal behavior. It gave me a lot of confidence and responsibility that I still use when caring for pets today. Besides my own animals, I’ve helped care for pets belonging to family, friends, and neighbors over the years. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, litter box cleaning, basic medications, playtime, and making sure pets get plenty of attention while their owners are away. I’m a 19-year-old college student currently on summer break and working part-time, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets because I feel the same way about my own. My goal is always to make pets feel happy, comfortable, and loved while giving their owners peace of mind. ❤️ As a college student on summer break, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability outside of my part-time job. This allows me to dedicate time and attention to each pet’s needs, whether that means drop-in visits, walks, feeding, playtime, or simply providing companionship. I’m reliable, organized, and committed to making sure pets receive consistent, quality care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routines as closely as possible to help their pets feel comfortable and secure. I provide fresh food and water, clean up after pets, ensure they get plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention, and carefully follow any special instructions. I also treat each home with respect and keep pet owners updated so they can have peace of mind while they’re away.
“Kiara was super great with B! She took him out for 30 minutes when she didn’t have to and he loved her. She was timely, and communicated well. Definitely going to use her again!!”

About: I have spent my whole life caring for animals. Friends, family and even neighbors have relied on me to help care for their loved ones whether it be baths, nail trims, walks, or overnight care. Of course I love puppies, but seniors are actually where my heart truly lies. Nothing gives me more fulfillment than helping care for seniors, and I have plenty of experience doing so. I have also worked at multiple dog boarding facilities. I am a stay at home mom so my schedule is pretty flexible! I can do multiple drop ins a day no problem at all! I always make sure to keep everyone's safety in mind. I do not take any chances, and I pay attention to how your baby is acting. If something seems off I'm concerned.
About: I’ve been a lifelong dog lover and owner, with experience caring for pups from childhood through adulthood. I currently have a 4 year old Australian Cattle Dog/Beagle mix who keeps me busy with her high energy and curiosity. I’ve trained all of my dogs in basic commands such as sit, stay, and fetch, and I’d be happy to integrate these into my playtime with your pup. I understand the importance of structure, exercise, and love in a dog’s/cat’s routine, and I’m committed to providing attentive, reliable care to ensure your furry friend is happy and safe while you’re away. I will make sure your other furry friend (cat/s) have their meals served, litter boxes cleaned, playtime exceed your expectation, and give them the love and affection they too deserve. During COVID, I worked as a dog walker for a close friend, which gave me firsthand experience with drop-ins and daily walks. I know how to structure visits to include 30-40 minutes of walking, playtime, feeding, treats, water, and most importantly lots of love and attention for your pet. In addition, I frequently care for my parents’ 9 year old black Lab mix, who plays well with my own dog. I’m experienced in handling multiple dogs at once, including walking them together safely and ensuring they’re both happy and well exercised. I believe in clear communication and will always ask for detailed instructions about your pet’s routine. Written directions are required for clarity, for example, specific playtimes, treat schedules, preferred walking routes, emergency contacts, and the location of the nearest vet hospital. All of these details will be thoroughly discussed during our first introduction, ensuring your pet gets the personalized care they deserve. I work full time but have flexible hours, allowing me to do drop ins during the day for potty breaks, playtime, or walks. My weekends are usually wide open, and I’m also available for overnight stays any day of the week or weekend. Your pet will receive the same love and attention as my own while I’m with them. They will never be left out of my sight, and I will ensure I’m familiar with the nearest pet hospital in case of an emergency. You will be kept informed from the moment I meet your pet until I leave, with regular updates to ensure you feel comfortable and confident in their care.
About: I love dogs, but unfortunately can’t commit to my own at the moment, so I’d love to spoil yours. In the past my family and I have had foster dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. You’ll never have to worry about neglect or abuse of your beloved Pet with me. I will protect them like they’re my own! I can follow special diets and exercise routines as well as rules for where your pet is allowed to sit, play, or go to the bathroom. I am competent and reliable and I will go the extra mile to make sure any client of mine is 110% satisfied with my service. I can also complete any chores or other tasks when house sitting or dropping in. Give me a chance and I won’t let you down! I work from home and can take my laptop to another home to work, if sitting. I am home most of the time, but my boyfriend helps out when I’m gone. He lives with me and can meet you if you are boarding a dog with us. One of us is always up very early if your dog eats at an early time. I don’t leave much when I have a dog, but when I do I limit my outings to a few hours or less. I take dogs out every hour or two if I am home. Or my boyfriend (who I live with & you can meet if boarding here) will help out if I leave for a bit! I try to send a picture a day to let you know your dog is safe and sound. Or videos etc. you can meet anyone who will be staying here, like family, etc beforehand if boarding. My boyfriend is very helpful and responsible & has experience with dogs & cats cats too. Let me know if your dog needs constant supervision (same room at all times). I usually let them roam the floor i am on as they please (it is fully dog proofed), but can provide closer attention if needed. Snuggles always provided:) I am self employed as a real estate agent so I’m in and out of the house a lot but never for more than a few hours. I set my own schedule so I am very flexible. I make sure everything is dog proof/ cat proof and to keep them in those areas and also note any and all safety precautions expressed to me by the owners and follow those directions.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my entire life. I have been surrounded by dogs since I was born and have had a dog since then. We have always had cats as well and they are all treated like royalty. Pets truly are a part of the family and I will be sure to treat and care for yours as I would my own! I am currently fully available to pet sit, take on walks at any time of the day. I am fully committed to making sure your animals are taken care of and get enough human interaction! My dog personally doesn't do the best with other dogs as she's getting older and doesn't want to be bothered, so I would make myself fully available to come to your home at any time. Obviously every pet is different and on different schedules so I would make sure to follow your pets schedule and routine just as I would for my pets.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
