About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life. I’ve dog sat multiple dogs at the same time. I get along great with every dog type! Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine, especially because I have a strong background in staying active. As a former Division I cross country and track runner averaging around 55 miles per week, I’m used to building structure and consistency into my day. I incorporate my pet into that lifestyle by making sure they get regular exercise, whether that’s going on runs, long walks, or spending time outdoors together. Being active is something I truly enjoy, and it makes caring for my pet feel like a seamless part of my routine rather than a chore. On a daily basis, I make sure my pet is fed, has fresh water, and gets plenty of attention and movement. I also take time to check on their overall health and energy levels. Throughout the week, I set aside time for grooming, cleaning their space, and making sure I have all the supplies I need. Because I love being outdoors, I also try to include my pet in activities like hiking or exploring new places, which keeps both of us happy and healthy. Overall, pet care fits well into my lifestyle and reflects my commitment to being active, responsible, and attentive.

About: Hi there! I'm Liz! I am the owner and operator of Critter Care and Rescue! Everyone who knows me, knows that my life revolves around animals! I personally own/foster/rehab dogs, cats, horses, small animals and even wildlife! Professionally, I've worked in the animal field since my first job at a pet boarding facility when I was 17. - I am trained for dog/cat Heimlich & CPR (have successfully used that training to save a dog's life!) - Over 20 years of experience with practically every domesticated pet - Worked for 3 years professionally as a canine trainer - I do wildlife rehab, and have successfully rehabbed and released numerous wild critters! - I fear no species, breed or size! I own my own company - Critter Care and Rescue! This is my full time job, which allows me the freedom to pick up pet care appointments, even with very short notice. I treat every animal I interact with as if they are my own. I am hyper vigilant about safety- whether that is environmental, the animal's health or the body language an animal is showing. I can guarantee that any animal in my care would be protected with my life.

About: I’ve had pets all my life and I have a love for all animals. I know many dogs through friends and family and I have experience walking and caring for a variety of breeds, ages and temperaments. I used to have two dogs of my own in addition to my three cats, one of which was a Shiba Inu - so I’m used to and can handle dogs that can be reactive or territorial. I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember and I love to spoil and care for them. You can be sure I’ll treat your pets with the same love and attention I would give to my own. I currently have a business I’m starting up so I’m only working part time, as such my availability is varied but generally open. I prefer to sit at others’ homes but would be available to board throughout the week - I have a couple obligations Monday, Wednesday and Friday so just message me and we’ll see what we can work out. As I have three cats any boarding at my home would require the pet to be vetted and to verify they are cat friendly and non-aggressive. For in-home sitting I can provide a walk, feedings and general play and care including letting the dogs out to potty. At my own place I do not have a fully enclosed yard, but I can still take out dogs on-leash, and would provide all the same in-home care as I would sitting. I do have a gate for the kitchen if they needed to be kept separate from the cats. As I rent the dogs must be potty trained, though I understand pee accidents due to excitement and such can happen. In general I offer a safe and friendly environment for your pets regardless of whether I’m in your home or my own, as every animal deserves to be treated with love and care.

About: I’ve been wanting to be a veterinarian since I was in kindergarten. I’ve read books, watched videos all about dog/cat care and training! Super good. Super free right now. Need a job to get me on my feet this is perfect for my passion about animals. Mornings or nights work. I’ve recently moved here to the area from Michigan. Staying with my brother and been feeding, walking and playing with their two perfect little puppies!

About: You can count on me to show up on time, every time. No missed walks, no excuses. I would never miss a chance to walk your dog. Im available for those one time things. I’m a little busy right now so I don’t have exact times, but if you need your dogs walked for a one time thing I’ll be there. I treat every dog as if it’s my own. About: I have taken care of family members', family friends', neighbors', houses, pets, and children since I have been in high school and I am now a 2023 graduate from Central Michigan University. I have taken care of senior pets, both cats and dogs, for several days at a time. I am comfortable with giving medication and tending to any other special needs your fur baby may have. I am also comfortable with taking care of several pets at once, as I regularly stay at a household with 6 pets in the home (4 dogs and 2 cats). I have a dog of my own and I strive to care for others' pets as they are my own. I am currently a nursing student at Oakland University. I am in the accelerated program and my schedule changes every 6-7 weeks. Until 4/16, I have 12 hour clinical days at Troy Corewell on Thursdays and Sundays and class 3 days a week ending at 2 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays, then 10:30 AM on Tuesdays in the Auburn Hills area. I am also available in the Macomb and St. Clair areas. I am completely comfortable with staying in the home with pets to keep them on their routines in a familar environment. I have stayed one night up to 2 weeks, so I am flexible with whatever you or your pets may need. My dog loves to play with other dogs, so I can introduce them if requested.

About: I have had dogs & cats my whole life. I am passionate about animals! I have experience with dog training, animal handling, administering medication or just quality time. I plan on having pet sitting replace my current job! It is something I have always been passionate about so why not! I can enjoy going to this job! We currently have three dogs. They our part of our family. We do not have a fence so they’re always with me when they go outside.

About: I’ve taken care of my family pats ever since I was young, always had dogs and cats, I love all of my pets and spending time with them, can’t wait to meet yours and all of their quirks!! I’m only busy one day a week right now, which is Sunday's. About: Other than my own dogs (2 huskies and a Rottweiler/Shepard mix) I have cared for several dogs and cats for years. I have done drop in walks for two dogs and overnight cat sitting. I also worked at a dog kennel when I was a teenager, though that was many moons ago I know your pet will get the very best care on my watch! I had a cleaning company before Covid but have always been in love with dogs and cats. I have two older children who don’t need me as much and can’t wait to start this journey into pet care. I am available Mon, Tues, We’d, Friday and every other Thursday all day for your pet care needs. Having 2 huskies I know the importance of making sure your pet is secure whether that’s in your yard or on a walk. Also making sure there’s nothing left out for them to get into when I leave your home!

About: I have been caring for animals since I was a young child. I started at 9 with bottle baby goats, added rabbits shortly after and have had many others since from from cats, dogs, birds, and Guinea pigs inside to chickens, goats, cows, and ponies outside along with various others. I currently have one indoor cat and one indoor dog, as well as cows, sheep, a pony, and a donkey. I feed all the feral and stray cats that show up at my barn and have learned a great deal about cat personalities from them. I often babysit my daughters three cats and ferret so have experience with caring for multiple pets at once. I work Tuesday thru Friday from 5:00am to 2:30 pm and I have about an hour of taking care of my animals each day. The rest of my time I have free to take care of your pets. I will be respectful of your individual animals personality and offer them as much or little physical attention as they want. I’ll make sure they have fresh clean food and water, keep their litter area clean, and can scoop or completely change out litter as needed.

About: I have owned dogs and cats all of my life. They definitely play an important part of my existance. I live in an area that has lots of room for a dog to get exercise. I spend much of my time outside with my pets near my side. It is important to me that any pet I am taking care of knows that they are very special to me. Your pet will become as fond of me as they are of their owners. I have spent times watching dogs and cats in their homes. I make sure that they are not missing their masters by spending extra time playing and walking them during my visits, whether it is a day visit or weekend visit. I just love our fur pals. I only work part time. My husband is home until 1:00 p.m. and I generally work only until 2:00 p.m. But that is only from May until October. Your dog will have someone around 90% of the day. I have a large yard. It is not fenced in but I keep my visiting pets on a leash at all times. They will be close by to me at all times.

About: As long as I can remember, I've had a passion of caring for animal's. Growing up I had all sorts from bunnies, to a horse, dog's, cat's. About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life. As I got older I realized they are my passion. I started fostering dogs over 6 years ago and fell in love with rescuing and helping dogs in need. I have a lot of experience with all types of dogs and different personalities. I understand that all dogs are different and have different needs. I worked in a veterinarian office as a vet tech assistant for a year as an internship so i do have lots of experience with animals that were not my own. I will be very open and honest with you. Also i am open to watching all kinds of animals not just cats and dogs. I currently work 3 days a week as a hair stylist, those being Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. My schedule is flexible each week looks a little different for me. I am positive your pet(s) will get the best treatment and care. I will do exactly what is told of me, no more no less. In the result of an incident I will use my best judgement with the experience I have and the owners will always be informed.

I have owned and trained therapy dogs for service in assisted living settings for my career (I owned/ operated assisted living communities in Port Huron, Ann Arbor and Seattle). About: After trying to find a sitter for my own dog, I realized how expensive dog boarding was. So I wanted to offer people a cheaper alternative. If you are looking for an at home feel kinda stay then this is it! I'm not a professional, but I love dogs. I love playing with dogs, walking them, and giving lots of snuggles. I have always owned at least one dog and have experience with lots of different breeds. I have a gentle voice that even shy dogs open up to me. I enjoy grooming dogs and making them feel special. I am a stay at home mom so your fur baby would have constant care and companionship. I have a pretty open availability and am very flexible. I can provide care in my home or in yours. I have 2 children, a 1 year old and 8 year old, so if your dog isn't comfortable around children I would have to go to your home.
