I have owned and trained therapy dogs for service in assisted living settings for my career (I owned/ operated assisted living communities in Port Huron, Ann Arbor and Seattle). I have lots of patience and reliability. I am very committed to all pets and have been a supporter of ASPCA for many years. I am newly retired and have a lot of flexibility. We have a blended family of both dogs and cats. So I would love to are for your cat or cats as well. I promise great communication and personalized service to meet and exceed your expectations. About: I have had pets my whole life, I watch my family’s dogs when they go on vacation. I love all breeds of dogs and cats. I love taking dogs on walks to get great exercise and to enjoy the nature❤️ I also have horses and experience with multiple livestock animals I’m currently working a casual position so my availability is pretty much fully open to aide in checking on the pets and my availability to service you! I can easily crate your pet if needed, use leashes while taking them to the bathroom and creating a good bond so you and your pup can trust me

About: *CURRENTLY ACCEPTING EXISTING CLIENTS ONLY* I’m a local dog groomer, part time. I am currently only working with existing clients due to my senior dog’s health. I have my own little hobby farm, where I have dogs, cats, birds, arctic foxes, horses, goats, pigs, and fish! My family takes care of them when I’m taking care of your babies. I’ve fostered multiple orphaned animals as young as 24 hours old. I’ve cared for wild animal orphans until they could get to a rehab. I’ve cared for snakes, lizards, chinchillas, hedgehogs, ferrets, etc. I’ve bottle fed, given injections, and even have given IV fluids to my pets at vet direction. So, animal experience is putting it lightly! I house sit for friends and family frequently, and am looking to expand my services. My oldest pup is a super senior sheltie who needs a little extra love to stay comfortable. I also have a Pyrenees mix with severe storm anxiety that requires medication, so I’m familiar with what that entails. All of my dogs get a kibble diet paired with different supplements based on their individual needs, so I have no problem feeding more complicated diets as instructed. My foxes are primarily raw, and I’ve taken classes on pet nutrition. I’m currently training my red lab pup to be a cardiac alert service prospect, and have gone through maple creek training for obedience and socialization work. I’m constantly studying new techniques and ways to work with animals to keep them healthy and well rounded! My schedule now requires dogs to be left alone for around 6-8 hours a day, as I have to be able to care for my struggling pup. I am able to still do overnights, and weekends! Simply cannot do 24/7 stays. I’m comfortable walking or supervising your dog in a fenced yard, to potty. I can give medications and supplements as directed, to help keep your pet comfortable. If it’s a breed that requires brushing and maintaining while you’re gone? I’m comfortable doing it to prevent matting. Having so many different breeds dogs and cats of my own, under my belt, and having worked with so many others? I’m pretty comfortable with all pets. I’m working on receiving pet CPR classes, as well!

About: I’ve taken care of & shown all kinds & sizes of dogs since I was 8. Currently only have one dog, but he’s a big boy. I’ve showed Golden, Poms, GSD, husky and our current pet is a Berner/Pyrenees. Groomed all of them too. Also experienced with livestock, so I can handle anything! Grew up with horses, goats, cats and rabbits. Super excited to meet your baby! I am looking to fill some time, so I would be super excited to visit your pet! I’m also very flexible on scheduling as well. I will try to keep your pet to their normal schedule, so even if you are gone, they will not be too upset. About: I’m excited to care for your pet! I love all animals and even wanted to become a veterinarian! I have a two Siamese cats who are good with dogs. I also have a two year old poodle named Tony. he LOVES to play with other dogs. We go to the Fort Gratiot dog park often! My family growing up raised golden retriever puppies, so I am comfortable with all energy levels! Personally, I am also trying to exercise more so I would love to take your dog for a short or long walk! Any other questions you have, feel free to ask! My pets keep me busy! I also have 9 chickens. I am happy to visit your fur baby anytime of the day! I’m happy to visit holidays and weekends too :). In my home, pets are allowed on furniture and on the bed. Food is given at scheduled times of the day - no free feeding so you would not have to worry about your pet eating other food. I am happy to house puppies and senior dogs. I can take them outside on a leash as I don’t have a fenced in yard. I have two acres on a dirt road in for gratiot.

About: After trying to find a sitter for my own dog, I realized how expensive dog boarding was. So I wanted to offer people a cheaper alternative. If you are looking for an at home feel kinda stay then this is it! I'm not a professional, but I love dogs. I love playing with dogs, walking them, and giving lots of snuggles. I have always owned at least one dog and have experience with lots of different breeds. I have a gentle voice that even shy dogs open up to me. I enjoy grooming dogs and making them feel special. I am a stay at home mom so your fur baby would have constant care and companionship. I have a pretty open availability and am very flexible. I can provide care in my home or in yours. I have 2 children, a 1 year old and 8 year old, so if your dog isn't comfortable around children I would have to go to your home.

About: I have experiences with sitting for other dogs and caring for my own. I have trained and passed tests of my dogs to be therapy dogs I am available all day/everyday to care for pets with having 2 dogs of my own they are on a schedule. I will work with your pets routine. I have 2 golden retrievers currently as we lost our old girl 😢. I have trained them as therapy dogs and we volunteer our time in nursing homes. We let them all over the house and on the furniture but if you want them in a crate and not on furniture that can be arranged.

About: I’ve taken care of my family pats ever since I was young, always had dogs and cats, I love all of my pets and spending time with them, can’t wait to meet yours and all of their quirks!! I’m only busy one day a week right now, which is Sunday's. About: I’ve had pets all my life and I have a love for all animals. I know many dogs through friends and family and I have experience walking and caring for a variety of breeds, ages and temperaments. I used to have two dogs of my own in addition to my three cats, one of which was a Shiba Inu - so I’m used to and can handle dogs that can be reactive or territorial. I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember and I love to spoil and care for them. You can be sure I’ll treat your pets with the same love and attention I would give to my own. I currently have a business I’m starting up so I’m only working part time, as such my availability is varied but generally open. I prefer to sit at others’ homes but would be available to board throughout the week - I have a couple obligations Monday, Wednesday and Friday so just message me and we’ll see what we can work out. As I have three cats any boarding at my home would require the pet to be vetted and to verify they are cat friendly and non-aggressive. For in-home sitting I can provide a walk, feedings and general play and care including letting the dogs out to potty. At my own place I do not have a fully enclosed yard, but I can still take out dogs on-leash, and would provide all the same in-home care as I would sitting. I do have a gate for the kitchen if they needed to be kept separate from the cats. As I rent the dogs must be potty trained, though I understand pee accidents due to excitement and such can happen. In general I offer a safe and friendly environment for your pets regardless of whether I’m in your home or my own, as every animal deserves to be treated with love and care.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was born. I currently have 2 big dogs and 6 cats at my home. I’ve pet sat for friends and family and sometimes I come over just to see their fur babies. I love going on walks with dogs but also snuggling up on the couch with my babies. I currently have a 8am-4pm job but it’s with family so they are very flexible if I need to leave and come back during the day. I’m currently enrolled in college online perusing a degree in marketing as well. I’m a very gentle person and I have a lot of respect for animals space. I don’t like to rush or make them feel threatened by me. I often however, hit it off very well with pets and love to play with them! I have tons of acres at my home so my dogs like to run free or on a leash if needed.

About: I have had dogs for as long as I can remember. From giant breeds to small dogs, I love them all. I am familiar and can easily handle the strength and slobber of a big dog, while also maintaining the delicate and agile spirit of a little pup. My dog, Josie, has bad skin allergies and terrible anxiety. She hates to see me leave, some times not even getting a drink or eating until I am back. I know it can be so hard to leave a pet, especially when you know they miss you so much, but I hope I can be the easement for both your baby and you that they will be safe and okay! I would love to make your fur baby feel comfortable and safe with me and take care of them just the way they need. My dog personally has dealt with anxiety her whole life, especially separation anxiety, so I know it can be difficult to leave a pet with a new person. About: I’ve watched friends, family, and neighbors pets since I was 11! I love watching, playing, walking, and bathing dogs! I have always been trusted with those I help and you should too! I am currently a part time student at Lansing Community College, so my weeks are very open to staying with your pets all day if needed!! I also am available for walks during the day or just stopping by to play and let them out!! I am staying with family who have two dogs that aren’t fully dog friendly so my services would only be available at your house only!

About: I have been caring for animals since I was a young child. I started at 9 with bottle baby goats, added rabbits shortly after and have had many others since from from cats, dogs, birds, and Guinea pigs inside to chickens, goats, cows, and ponies outside along with various others. I currently have one indoor cat and one indoor dog, as well as cows, sheep, a pony, and a donkey. I feed all the feral and stray cats that show up at my barn and have learned a great deal about cat personalities from them. I often babysit my daughters three cats and ferret so have experience with caring for multiple pets at once. I work Tuesday thru Friday from 5:00am to 2:30 pm and I have about an hour of taking care of my animals each day. The rest of my time I have free to take care of your pets. I will be respectful of your individual animals personality and offer them as much or little physical attention as they want. I’ll make sure they have fresh clean food and water, keep their litter area clean, and can scoop or completely change out litter as needed.

About: I have taken care of family members', family friends', neighbors', houses, pets, and children since I have been in high school and I am now a 2023 graduate from Central Michigan University. I have taken care of senior pets, both cats and dogs, for several days at a time. I am comfortable with giving medication and tending to any other special needs your fur baby may have. I am also comfortable with taking care of several pets at once, as I regularly stay at a household with 6 pets in the home (4 dogs and 2 cats). I have a dog of my own and I strive to care for others' pets as they are my own. I am currently a nursing student at Oakland University. I am in the accelerated program and my schedule changes every 6-7 weeks. Until 4/16, I have 12 hour clinical days at Troy Corewell on Thursdays and Sundays and class 3 days a week ending at 2 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays, then 10:30 AM on Tuesdays in the Auburn Hills area. I am also available in the Macomb and St. Clair areas. I am completely comfortable with staying in the home with pets to keep them on their routines in a familar environment. I have stayed one night up to 2 weeks, so I am flexible with whatever you or your pets may need. My dog loves to play with other dogs, so I can introduce them if requested.
