With years of experience, looking after pets of all ages, personalities and needs I’ve built a reputation for being reliable, attentive and genuinely invested in each animals wellbeing. One of the biggest advantages of working with me is that I work from home full-time, this means that your pets will never be left unattended and I am able to give them consistent attention to ensure they feel safe and comfortable throughout the day. When your pet is with me, they’re treated like family whether it’s daily walks, playtime medication reminders or just offering affection and companionship, I make sure every animal feels loved and understood. I look forward to giving your pets the dependable, worry free care they deserve. I currently work from home Monday through Friday. I have the ability to visit your home and ensure your pets are doing well and to provide them any enrichment they may need whether it be walks or play. I currently live in townhouse with my husband and our dog, named Gorgi (Gorgonzola), we go on frequent walks in the morning afternoon and evening. We keep a clean home and have a basement that lets out into a small backyard. I have one X-Large kennel if your pup prefers to sleep in one as well as a puppy pad corner for those late night bathroom breaks. I would be happy to provide a tour our home upon request.

About: Ive never known a time I didnt have dogs and cats. I have experience working with large breed working dogs as well as smaller dogs and everything in between. The only dogs that intimidate me are Rottweilers and chiuahahas! I love cats. I have extensive experience with fish and some birds too. I currently have 2 conures. I have a saltwater fish tank and a fresh water betta tank so I can easily care for your fish as well. I have a german shepherd pup myself and shes super friendly. I dont have to bring her around your pets. I let her outside about wvery two hours to play. We play ball and fetch. When the weather is good we go on long walks or hikes in the woods. I currently use a wireless gps fence for my dog. In your home I would certainly rely on a fence or a leash. I would not want to be responsible for an injury to your fur baby.

“Alex was AMAZING! First, I contacted him on short notice because my dog sitter had a medical emergency. He responded quickly to all my questions, and eased my nerves during drop off. Second, he did great with both my dog babies despite their personality differences. My Kobe is a puppy and super hyper. She can be a lot for some people but Alex was great with her from the second she met him. My Harry is an older dog and likes to be cuddled and one on one loving. Harry is a dog who loves people and doesn’t really like to mingle with other dogs. Alex met the needs of both. Third, the communication was great. My dog babies were with Alex for a week and he sent me periodic updates throughout the week. I appreciated the information and pictures he shared with me. In summary, this experience was amazing. I did not worry about my dog babies at all and would highly recommend Alex to anyone who is looking for quality care. Alex will be our go to sitter when my family and I go out of town without our dog babies.”

About: Recent retiree has plenty of time to give you peace of mind while caring for pet. Throughout my life, I raised 8 family dogs (Labrador Retriever, Huskies, Weimaraner, Papillons, Corgi, Boykin Spaniel), helped raise 3 grand-pups (Long-haired Dachshund, Goldendoodle, Labradoodle) and pet-sat for several extended-family dogs while their humans were away on vacation. 5 of the 8 family dogs I raised from puppyhood. 6 of the 8 family dogs I brought through basic dog training. During the initial months of my retirement, I would walk our family’s 9 year old Goldendoodle 1-2 miles each morning; however, he unexpectedly succumbed to cancer, recently. My attention is fully available for caring for your pet. At one time, my home had 4 dogs each different in size and personality, but they all got along great! My back yard is large and fenced in. This is the first time in over 30 years my home is without personal pets, although I continue to pet-sit grand-pups and other extended-family dogs. About: I cared for my family dog for 12 years until she passed, as well as cared for my family and friends furry animals over the years. I’m currently working full time. During the week, I can be available before 8:00am, afternoons, and after 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Weekend schedule is flexible. I’ll make sure they are safe at all times, and well taken care of. Take them on walks, feed them if needed, and play of course!
