About: Hi I’m Lizzy, new here as sitter but have been on Rover for 10+ years. I’ve cared for many dogs over the years myself, having fostered and rescued and it brings me joy every time helping these amazing souls find the loving homes and humans that my dogs have. I work from home so I am here to give the love, care, and attention that your pet will need. I have senior care experience, medication administering experience (oral & injections), as well as puppy care. I am open to learning and caring for the needs of a dog or cat with special needs. My loves are Zoei (15yr old Dachshund mix) and TaMollie (1yr old Miniature Dachshund). I have a back yard for plenty of play and exercise. I have cared for 3 litters consisting of 7 puppies each at a time even having to supplement bottle feedings at times. I know first hand how important it is to find a safe and caring sitter for your pet while you are away and if I can help to ease the anxiety that comes with that task by looking after them, that right there is what it’s all about! I work from home, so I’ll have plenty of time to play and exercise your pet. Also being available for bathroom breaks as needed. Minimal crate time is what I like to go for. I have fenced yard and two small breed dogs to keep your dog company. They love meeting new friends and playtime is a blast. Safe supervised freedom is how I am with my pets.

“From the moment our dog, Bolt, calmly and willingly followed Shayna into her house, we knew that he was in good hands. Usually our dog feels nervous when we drop him off, especially at a new boarder. However, this time it was not the case which we were pleasantly surprised. Shayna did an excellent job taking care of Bolt. She was able to professionally handle our high energy canine. She walked him and played with him. She sent us pictures and videos daily. Bolt looked happy in all the videos. She promoted a safe and fun environment for all the dogs that were there. We appreciate Shayna for working with Bolt on his walks and giving us professional advice. When we were running late for pick up, she was very nice about it and accommodating. We highly recommend her service. We will definitely book her again.”
