“Melissa & Jhoan are serious about caring for your dog(s). When they saw that I was going to leave Oswald and Maisey with them for 10 days, they wanted to get to know their 'clients' by having them over for a 6-hour playdate beforehand. I live alone so my two Beagles are very important to me as companions. But I was glad and very comfortable leaving Oswald & Maisey with Melissa & Jhoan and it helped me enjoy my trip to Texas. They sent pics and videos every day. Would I use Melissa & Jhoan again? ABSOLUTELY! Their property is a safe and huge place for dogs to run; and they are excellent caretakers of your dogs.”
“Boarding our two dogs with Susana was a wonderful experience. Our previous boarding/sitting situation changed and was no longer viable right as we were coming up on a 2 week trip overseas, so we were scrambling at the last minute to try to find someone we felt we could trust to watch them. Susana really went the extra mile to help us feel comfortable, including doing a video chat with us, showing us her home and backyard, and telling us about her experience as a sitter. While we were away, she sent us pictures a couple of times per day and kept us updated on what the pups were up to and how they were doing. When they weren't eating a lot (which happens with these two when they are staying somewhere new) she offered up some suggestions. I really appreciated that she checked in with us before just doing something, because Luke has a sensitive digestive system and there are lots of things that can upset his stomach which is no fun for him or the humans who are taking care of him. She also offered to give them a bath right before we returned - and I cannot even say how much we appreciated that! They always want to cuddle with us for like two solid days after they come home from a long trip, and having them clean and smelling good makes that such a wonderful experience. The dogs seemed like they had a great time and lots of fun, and they were well taken care of. We could really tell the family loved having them stay. They will definitely be staying with Susana again on a future trip 🙂”

Every interaction, from my first communication to picking up Puck after his stay, conveyed both a love of animals and professionalism. We met first in a local park for a meet and greet, where Elena and I chatted and her daughter played with Puck. I felt really comfortable with Elena’s easy manner and the questions she asked to ensure that Puck would be happy with them. I left in confidence when I dropped Puck off, and the photos she sent made it clear that Puck was happy and well cared for. Her daughter makes for a wonderful added bonus; Elena told me when I picked him up that her daughter made a fort for them, and it was clear in the pics that Puck received lots of play time with his favorite toys. When I picked up Puck after his stay, he was of course happy to see me, but not overcome with nervousness or anxiety. I could see that he felt safe and loved in Elena’s home. When I arrived home, he slipped right back into normal routines without needing decompression time. Thank you, Elena, for providing Puck with a warm and loving home-away-from-home.”

“Tiffany and her family were perfect for our high energy dog! They have two energetic dogs of their own and our dog, Winston, gets lots of play time with them and lots of balls to fetch from the family! Our dog also LOVES the pool and got to swim in their pool twice over a three night stay, and Tiffany was gracious to bathe him afterwards and even give him a life jacket so he could enjoy it with their kids.
