About: I was raised by two cat lovers, who brought me into a house with 2 cats already. I’ve been around cats almost constantly in my life, but adopted my first when was in high school, a hefty russian blue (said the vet). In all honesty she’s been incredibly easy to care for, so when I met my partner in college, I was a bit unprepared for his roommate’s fosters. They were emergency fosters, often barely able to eat wet food, some were sick and had the tiniest meows. I grew to find helping with the fosters was so gratifying, and watching tiny kittens grow into young cats was at times incredibly emotional. I’m so happy to have had that experience, and it’s helped me to understand cats so much more, and made me want to care for more!

I have a ton of experience with senior dogs and their needs and younger dogs? No problem. Pets are our family. I am small in stature and cannot handle large dogs. Please keep that in mind. Thank you! We will be walking outside 2-3 times a day. Mostly your pets will be staying home and cuddling with me.

About: I’ve always had a love of animals, and been in close quarters with both cats and dogs early in my life, which i found to be incredibly beneficial for me. I have experience taking care of dogs of all sizes, from a grumpy miniature pinscher to a deaf pit bull, with medication routines and environmental needs. While much of my experience with caring for dogs is with older dogs, my forever dog Roxy was not always a senior dog and in her younger years she was a 65+ pound pittie mix. I love taking dogs around the neighborhood and letting them set the pace, and if necessary I can carry a pretty heavy dog, in case of a splinter in a paw or a mean dog. I like to keep animals out of the sun during the hottest part of the day, and try to make sure that they have enough time/daylight to work out all the excitement. I also take medication, so when caring for a dog who also needs medication, I like to take mine with them. I work part-time as a botanical assistant and artist, so my hours are irregular, but thus allow quite a bit of time for me to care for animals during the day. Im big with cuddly animals, they often find me very approachable and sweet when i interact with them. My own animals are rather skiddish around strangers, so I tend to try and assess each animal by their body language, if it’s a jumpy and exited animal, I will greet them with a similar energy and love up on them, if they are a bit more shy I will get on their level, and wait for them to initiate. I only feel comfortable if my friend is, that when I know we will get along great.

Professionally, I have worked as a walker for Mobile Mutts in Brooklyn, NY; a doggy daycare associate at NYC's Biscuits and Bath, and took care of pugs at a rescue called Pug Nation in Los Angeles, where I currently reside. In my personal life, I've been a devoted parent to 5 kitties and 2 pups. I've administered diabetes and other medication to cats; I've volunteered at multiple cat and dog rescues, where I was responsible for feeding, cleaning, playing and walking. I live in a peaceful, safe community that's a dream for dog-walking. If pet-setting at your place, I will greet your pup with joy and love and make sure they feel loved. If crating is necessary, I am happy to do that as well. For kitties, I will play and snuggle and make them feel completely adored and engaged. Litterbox cleaning, medication administering, whatever your pet needs, they will be covered.
About: I am a mature professional work from home female. I have been taking care of dogs , cats, birds , fish , rabbits , chickens of any kind since I was 10. I grew up on a family farm. My friends , family , neighbors have relied on me to feed , walk , bathe their pets. I have a small maltipoo Sugar. She is very friendly with small dogs like her. My 16 y/o son loves all animals. They will get a lot of belly rubs. We can train them too. I work from home full time. I wake up at 6:30 walk your pets out for 10-15 mins and then we come back and have breakfast. After that I turn my computer on and your pets can just lay in the sofa next to me or play in other rooms. At lunch we again go out for a walk. We play in the backyard with water hose if it’s too hot outside. And after work we take a walk again. We have beautiful paseos nearby. Before going to bed we take a final walk or backyard potty break. I have a nice fenced backyard pet proofed with a net around where your pets can safely play. We will be walking outside 2-3 times a day. Mostly your pets will be staying home and cuddling with me.
