“Ashley was awesome!! Our pups took to her right away & they seemed sad to see us come back. She sent updates and photos for us. We also really liked Ashley she was easy to get along with and funny. Thanks for a great stay.”
“Atiyana did a wonderful job taking care of our dig Leila. Leila was happy to meet her and took to her from day one. Thankful that she was able to care for her and feed our fish!”
About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a young kid! As a young kid (and still now!) - my family, friends and neighbors relied on me to care for their fur babies while they were away. I now have dogs, cats & guinea pigs of my own so I have a lot of experience! I also frequently foster & volunteer for local shelters & rescues to help dogs & cats in need! Animals are my passion & I love them all like they are my own. I’m currently a stay at home mom to my 1 year old daughter, so I am home full time which means your pet will be given lots of love & attention during the day during their stay with us. I try to be as flexible & accommodating as possible! I have a large fenced in yard & two friendly resident dogs (Remi & Chance) to keep your dog company, if they like playing with other dogs. I also have separate dog-friendly rooms with TVs (Petflix!) for dogs that prefer to be alone and I also have kennels (small & large) for dogs that are used to being kept in a kennel for bed and rest times, so bringing your dog’s kennel from home is optional.

I ensure these spaces are clean, free of hazards, and stocked with toys, bedding, and other essentials.
“Uduak did an amazing job with our kids, Buck the big baby Bouvier and old lady Winnie our senior Cocker mix. They are usually slow to warm up to strangers, but they gravitated to her and anxiously waited by the door for her next visit. We'll be asking for again.”

“Kayla was extremely reliable and honest. She read and I believe followed my complex instructions to a T. She was also thoughtful about cleaning up the house and washing her own linens. With Farah, she was calm, and I think that was good for our anxious doggy. She sent regular photos and videos, asked questions (which I appreciate), didn't over-treat Farah, and let me know about a minor accident Farah had, which most folks probably would be afraid to do. (Farah was completely fine.) I came home to a happy, healthy dog with a new friend.”

“Shauna did an amazing job watching our babies this weekend. She communicated really well and was very flexible with our last minute booking. We will definitely be using her again when we need a sitter for our three pups.”

“Tanaysia was amazing! She is reliable and communicates great! She sent me multiple pictures and followed all the directions I left! We will definitely be using her again!”

“Bri was punctual and very communicative! She was kind and caring to my entire zoo, and was great with both my timid puppy and my difficult diabetic dog. I've been through a dozen Rover pet sitters but Bri is the first one I trust to take care of my pets the way I would. I'll definitely be requesting Bri again!”

About: Although I’ve never been a pet parent in New York City, I grew up with dogs and other animals over the course of my life that thrived with me and my family for years. One of the ways to learn about life is responding to pets needs, be it paying attention to body language or patterns in actions. Sometimes it’s something small that can make all the difference in a good boy or girl. I am able to follow strict or more lenient diet guidelines, specific schedules or house rules that reinforce good behavior. I look forward to these experiences with your furry loved ones and will do my best to accommodate all of their needs. My schedule is very flexible and am able to be there when I am needed.
“This is my second time using Patricia and the way she cares for my pups puts me at ease. I don’t have to worry about them or the care when I am traveling and I get the Custer photos with updates each day. She will definitely be my regular sitter!”

“Just days before our booking we found out that we would need to make a change to one of our dogs food and slowly start adding a kidney care food with his usual food. Of course this can be difficult for the dog as they adjust. On top of that the Vet prescribed an antibiotic to be taken twice a day for 14 days. We communicated the updates/changes to Steve and he said it would not be a problem. He sent daily updates and photos to show our dog was eating and taking his medicine which was such a relief. We really appreciate Steve and feel we are lucky to book him when we can. His willingness to adapt to these last minute changes really shows how much he cares for his furry clients.”
“Alexis contacted me for a last minute booking and she was flexible in working out a schedule to care my Princess. She was there like we agreed on and she send messages and pictures for every visit She also contacted us when Princess didn’t want to take her medication. She will definitely be my sitter from now on”
