About: I have had animals my entire life. I love taking care of them and filling their lives with lots of pets and love. I currently have 3 dogs, ranging in ages 1-12. I have experience with reactive dogs, puppies, cats, and senior dogs. Excited to take care of your fur baby I’m currently a student at Virginia Commonwealth University. I’m currently on summer break so I have plenty of time to take care of your fur babies. It is very important to me that all animals are safe and well cared for. I will follow all your instructions including walking and feeding schedule, as well as giving medication timely “ if applicable”.
“Cassie has been so great for my dog, Queen! She is very active with her and wears her out everyday. She is extremely easy to communicate with and works with my schedule. Thank you for everything, Cassie!”

“Prince was happy to see Rubi at drop off even though it has been a while. It made me smile to watch him walk away at drop-off with his “happy trot”. Rubi is always great with sharing updates and videos. We’ll definitely book again.”

“Latoya was soooo sweet and accommodating. This was my first time leaving my new fur baby with anyone for the work day, and from the moment we arrived we both felt right at home. Star did not want to leave! Thank you so much again Latoya, I can't wait for Star to come back and spend time with you all. <3”

“Danielle is great with Diggy. She keeps me updated during his stay and also send pictures. I truly appreciate her in taking care of my fur baby. Thank you, Danielle and you are greatly appreciated!!!”
About: Been taking care of dogs of varying sizes all my life. Friends sometimes rely on us to board their dogs when they travel for vacations. I work from home 100% of the time, so can be available for most of the time throughout the day, if the dog needs me. I let the dog freely walk around the entire house, it's a big house about 5,500 sq ft, so they have lots of space to run around and nap. We have dog beds and rugs throughout the house for their comfort. Depending on on feeding schedules, have space dedicated for water and food. At night, they can sleep in their own room or in the master suite.
“Anthony was awesome and Bruno definitely enjoyed his stay. Anthony was very personable and made my wife and me instantly comfortable. Bruno made a couple of new friends with Anthony's dogs, and I could tell by the excitement and the tail wagging that he was enjoying his time there. As long as Anthony is available, we definitely plan on making this a long term situation.”

“I had a last minute event come up and needed a next day sitter for Coco. Roxsand was very accommodating though it was last minute. She adjusted her schedule for us even though I was at her house at 6am. Roxsand also sent several photos of Coco throughout the day. I'm very appreciative of her time, care and professionalism and Coco looks forward to coming back very soon for more fun! Thank you!”

About: I’m an experienced dog owner with 8+ years of hands-on experience. I currently have two dogs that I trained myself and I grew up with a small terrier mix so I’m very comfortable with both large and small breeds. I am active and I work full time remote. So I’m able to be around throughout the day to stay on top of routines and give consistent care. I am a remote full time so I’m home throughout the day and I’m able to maintain a routine for my dogs and any dogs u welcome into my home. My two dogs are very friendly and socialize with dogs of all sizes. They’re fully housetrained and have a calm, respectful temperament. They do not get on the furniture and follow routine very well. I live in a large walkable neighborhood with plenty of space for daily walks plus access to a dog park, where the dogs can play safely and freely. I keep my dogs up-to-date on vaccine, vet visits and flea tick prevention and I expect the same for any dog that I host - to ensure a safe clean environment for everyone.
“Sabrina was wonderful to work with for our first booking! Thank you so much for being flexible with my date change requests — it made everything so easy, and I really appreciated your understanding. I felt completely at ease knowing my pet was in such caring and reliable hands.”

This is my sixth time working with Lisa, so I'm obviously very pleased with the care she provides. I think going to Lisa's house has even helped my dog with her car anxiety as the visits or something she looks forward to. Days at work are much easier knowing my dog is in good, caring hands. Lisa is also just a lovely and very understanding person. I can't recommend her highly enough!

Indy was incredibly gracious in accepting a very last-minute daycare booking for my pup, and I couldn’t be more appreciative. From the start, she was clear and informative about her process for introducing new dogs to her own sweet pups, which immediately put me at ease. Throughout the day, she kept me updated with plenty of messages and adorable photos, and made sure I knew exactly how everything was going. It’s such a relief to know your dog is in caring and capable hands. I would absolutely book with Indy again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive caregiver.

Denise was absolutely amazing! As a new pup mom, my family and I were a bit nervous however, the moment we arrived, she greeted us with a warm welcome . Suede’Noir immediately went to Denise very happy and in that moment, we were at Peace! Throughout the day, she sent us pictures and videos and were interested in using her service again. Thanks Denise 😊

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Marlton commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
