“We needed someone to look after our dog Archie for the day while we went to an event. We were going for the whole day and wouldn't be returning until the eveing so we didn't want to leave Archie alone for that long. Our usual dog sitter wasn't available on that day so I contacted Brian and another pet sitter on Rover to see if either one could look after him instead. It was a bit last minute (3 days notice) which was my fault for not trying to sort something sooner. The other person didn't even respond to my enquiry but Brian immediately did and said he was available. I made the necessary booking arrangements and Brian was felixable with drop off and pick up times if we needed to nudge them in case of traffic or whatever (we were an hour away). On the day we got sent pictures of Archie and I could see he was having a good time and felt comfortable with Brian in his home and with his dogs. I can definitely recommend Brian to anyone looking for a dog sitter and was so thankful he was able to take Archie at short notice. About: I’ve been a dedicated dog owner for about five years and have raised my dog, Scooby, since he was a puppy. My husband and I worked closely on his training, socialization, manners, and recall and he has grown into a well-behaved dog who is comfortable around other dogs and can safely enjoy off-leash activities in appropriate settings. Because I have used Rover and dog daycare services for years, I understand what pet parents are really looking for: a sitter who communicates, follows instructions, provides updates, keeps dogs active, and treats every pet with patience and care. Scooby is friendly and enjoys being around other dogs, and our home includes two attentive adults who genuinely enjoy caring for animals. About: I've been in veterinary medicine for 12 years. I am comfortable around all pets, no matter the breed or personality. I have two giant breed diggitys and I understand how hard it is to find safe care for your fur babies. We live in a noise free environment , zero cars, zero sirens etc. I am fear free certified and can handle nervous nellies and their needs very well. I'm currently working remotely and homeschool. The house is full of good energy. Since we have children and other pets/animals we are up as early as 5am in the morning and last walks are around 8p. If it is a weekend and we are staying up later in the night than walks could be as late as 10pm. It does depend on the pet also. My dogs are pet friendly however because of their size some other dogs don't take to them. My personal dogs have their own room and crate. We have multiple free spaces for up to 10 dogs small and or 5 dogs small/medium large. We live on 73 acres with 4 hiking trails. The dogs and ducks definitely get their exercise. If you have a senior pet or a pet that does better away from children or other pets, we can accommodate that as well. I am currently working remotely with some days in clinic. Between myself and my nephew someone is always home. We also homeschool so the house is always active. We have tons of space so if your pet doesn't do well with "active" we can accommodate that as well. With all the land and space we can easily go on 4-5 mile scenic walks. We can also let dogs who have name recall roam free (supervised). We live on 73 acres, very secluded. Our noise level is zero. There aren't cars driving by, sirens etc. We have a few hiking trails that have been cleared. We also have a room specific for dog sitting in our home. We can make it feel like home or have the approach of a normal boarder. We do ask that all pets are at minimum rabies vaccinated. This is the only vaccine legally required in the state of Maryland. We also ask that for boarding , you provide a favorite toy and t-shirt to help minimize anxiety and stress. We have calming plug ins in certain areas of the house to help decrease anxiety as well.

Pet care already fits naturally into my daily routine because I have dogs of my own. I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, daycare, and boarding. I’m active and enjoy getting dogs outside for walks and playtime, while also making sure they have plenty of time to relax. About: I have cared for a variety of breeds with different temperaments, personalities and levels of care needs. I have experience in training and discipline with a number of different tools, so I am comfortable in most situations including walking dogs with reactive or pulling tendencies. I enjoy taking dogs on pack walks in the woods like at Acosta Regional Park. I am a full time pet care provider. I can offer morning and evening walks, daycare, overnights, transportation, baths, basic lease and agility training sessions. Your dog(s) will enjoying being a member of my "woof" pack whether they are joining us for a pack walk or overnight. I can also offer a daycare setting and pet transportation services.
