About: What sets me apart as a sitter is a lifelong love for animals and deep, hands on experience with larger dog breeds. I grew up with dogs my entire life, especially high energy, strong breeds like German Shepherds, Boxers, and Pit Bulls. I understand their needs, behaviors, and quirks, and I’m completely comfortable with everything from daily walks to managing leash reactivity or giving medications when needed. I treat every dog like family, with a calm, confident presence and lots of affection. Whether it's helping a young pup burn energy or making sure a senior dog stays comfortable, I always meet them where they are. My experience with big dogs means I’m not only able to handle them physically, but also read their body language to ensure they feel safe and happy in my care. Pet care currently fits perfectly into my daily and weekly routine, especially as I transition between jobs after a recent move. With open availability and a flexible schedule, I’m able to fully dedicate my time and energy to caring for pets whether it’s daily walks, dropins, or extended stays. I genuinely enjoy building a routine around animals, and having the time and flexibility right now allows me to give them consistent attention, care, and companionship. It’s a fulfilling part of my day, and I love being someone both pets and their owners can count on. Whether I'm caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I prioritize safety, comfort, and consistency. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special needs whether it’s medication, dietary restrictions, or favorite toys. In my home, I create a calm, clean, and friendly environment with plenty of space to relax and play. I stick to feeding schedules, maintain regular walks, and ensure they always have fresh water and stimulation throughout the day. In a client’s home, I respect their space and routines while keeping their pets comfortable and cared for as if they were my own. I follow all instructions closely, provide updates, and keep things tidy. My goal is to make the experience seamless and stress-free for both pets and their people.

About: Ever since my family got a puppy, I have been experienced in dog sitting and cat sitting. I absolutely adore all animals and will happy adapt to all silly characteristics and attitudes of your animals. I am new to the city and do not start my full time job until late August. When I start my career, I will be implementing time for pet care into my schedule. Right now, I am looking to explore new places by caring for your animals! I understand that each family and each animal has its own needs, so I will gladly follow any guidelines which you may have. If you do not have any guidelines, I can happily manage the safety, the needs, and so on of your animal.

About: I’ve had at least two family dogs my entire life, and ever since I was capable, I have taken care of them in every way I can. I have also walked my friends and family’s dogs. When I went to boarding school, I helped take care of my teachers pets, along with riding horses and caring for a newborn foal. I have taken in two cats off the street and found them happy homes. I have had mutts, doodles, vizslas, and my favorite, golden retrievers. I pet every dog I pass by, so might as well do it officially! I’m home for the summer from school, so I am full time hanging out with your pets! I am available everyday from 11 AM to 3 PM, but my hours are flexible. I have always crated my own dogs, and am willing and able to crate yours as well. I know the city well and will make sure to walk your dogs to only the safest areas.

“Kimberly walked my dog for four nights in a row. My dog is a little nervous at first, but warmed right up to her! She was on time and always gave us updates/cute pictures. We will definitely be booking her again!”

“Ryuya was so nice and my dog loved him!! He was on time and communicated while on the walk. Will definitely be booking again!”

About: I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals, always with at least one dog by my side. I’ve never been without a dog (or two) in my life, and often helped care for neighbors’ dogs as well. I also dog sit for my coworkers. I’m attentive and adaptable, always tuning in to each dog’s unique needs and personality. My purpose is to give you peace of mind that your pup is being cared for! I work remotely full-time in public health research (my passion!), but that makes it easy for me to move around and be flexible during the week to take your pup on a walk, check in, play, or stay over if needed! A few things to note about my work and schedule during the week: - I work a typical 8-hour day M-F so if I'm staying in your home, I'll ideally need to have access to WiFi - I'm not available to do long walks during the weekdays that last longer than 30 minutes during the middle of the day (which includes my walking to your home, so weekday walks need to be near where I live) Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions and I'm happy to discuss a schedule that works for both of us. :) House sitting: If I’m staying in your home or coming by to care for your pets, I’m always respectful of your space and privacy. I’m happy to follow any house rules—whether that means no shoes indoors, keeping pets off certain furniture, or anything else you prefer. I can also send you photos or updates (just let me know your preference for how often!). My preference when dog sitting is that at night, your pup is able to sleep in their own bed or is crate trained. Please feel free to reach out for a meet and greet before booking anything to ensure I’m the right fit for your furry companion. ☺️ My little pooch is a yorkie mix who I rescued a few years ago. He’s crate trained and is as curious as it gets! I administer an oral medication for him, and can administer medications as long as I have clear instructions. He stays at home with me, but won’t join me during check ins with other dogs. Boarding: I do welcome small dogs that are crate trained, potty trained, and get along well with other small dogs. I have a little 8 year old, 12-pound Yorkie mix who gets along well with other small dogs. My partner and I are loving and attentive, and will welcome your sweet pup into our home! I live next to two parks and can be flexible with how many potty breaks are needed. One house rule that we have is we do not allow dogs on our couch or bed. Please reach out if you have any questions or would like to have a meet and greet!

About: New to Rover, but with years of personal pet care experience. I’m offering a discounted rate for my first 3 clients in exchange for an honest review! I’ve cared for my poodle–Irish setter mix for over 10 years and often walk her often through San Francisco. I’m used to navigating the city’s unexpected moments—strange sidewalk debris, loud noises, unpredictable dogs—and know how to keep walks calm and positive. I genuinely light up around dogs, and I’ve also had guinea pigs, so I understand how different animals interact. I promise to treat your dog with the same patience, attention, and joy I give my own! I am a college student so am free until late august with a lot of flexibility during the week and weekends. I will then be back for 5 weeks in the winter. I’m happy to visit your home to provide the best care for your pet so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’m flexible and happy to adjust to you and your pet’s usual schedule and routine (feeding, walks, playtime, etc…)

About: I used to volunteer at the humane society, I have a lot of experience walking dogs of all sizes. I frequently care for pets; including home visits, walking, and check-in’s. I work remote with a flexible lunch break and am finished around 3 PM. I have busy mornings generally but can shift or accommodate as needed easily. I care for pets by making sure they have a clean comfortable environment, fresh water, lots of treats and love!! I care for fur babies like they are my own.

“Laila was a perfect dog walker—on time, communicative, and thoughtful.”

“Jessica is amazing with our dog Zoe!! She took her out for long walks during the day while we were in the office. She took her to Marina green and played fetch with her for an hour. Zoe was so happy and exhausted by the end of the walk, I could see her sleeping for hours on the dog cam :). Jessica sent picture updates and I loved seeing how much fun they had. She’s very sweet and reliable - we will definitely be requesting Jessica again soon!!”

“My rescue pup needs patience and understanding and Waldron has been so helpful.”

About: I’ve taken care of two malamutes from puppy stage to adult stage. Very intuitive with dogs as far as noticing issues that might be bothering them. I currently work primarily for Instacart. So my schedule is 100 % flexible. If I am available when you need help with your animal I will be happy to help If I am taking care of a pet at a clients home I will make sure that the house is dog safe so that nothing in the home gets damaged or misused.

“Cynthia is so great with Cyggy, who is a senior pup and can be a little sassy. She’s reliable, communicative, and I fully trust her caring for my pup!!”

Grace R.
“Grace is the most lovely person. She truly has a way with doggies! She brings such a light to a room, and of course our furry friends are magnetized right to her!! I have seen Grace take every opportunity she has to meet new people and puppies at every turn, and she does it completely effortlessly. On top of this, she is very responsible and easy to get in contact with. She is amazing to work with, unimaginably kind, and absolutely the perfect fit to not just take care of, but to connect with your dog.”

Marina dog parents share their Rover experiences
Claire did a great job with our pup Layla. She was able to accommodate Layla’s needs and was able to give us lots of help on short notice. She clearly cares a lot about animals, something that shines through in her attention to detail. I would not hesitate to have Claire help with our dog again in the future.

Julie was so wonderful with my dog, Ozzie, who can be reactive with new people coming into our home. I’m so grateful for her calm demeanor and confidence working with him. I will definitely be booking her whenever we need a walk!

Hazel is totally exhausted. THANK YOU for the incredible service and flexibility ! I made a mistake on the booking and Korianne was so patient and accommodating. Will absolutely be booking her again !

Johnny has been walking our dog a couple days a week while we’re at work and it’s been amazing! Our dog is wary of people coming into our home, so Johnny did multiple “get to know you” sessions and was very patient. Our dog now willingly goes on walks while we are away and seems to love Johnny. We are super happy working with him!

It’s a huge relief to have a trusted walker like Benjamin. He’s reliable, timely, and adapts easily if there are any changes needed to my dog’s routine. We’ll be booking again 🐾

Katelyn was great with a last minute booking. She gave our pups a great time and took lots of photos.

Isabel was great with my 3 Portuguese Water Dogs. I immediately could see how comfortable and experienced she was with my 3 babies. The best part, she ran with them! As working dogs; they thrive on exercise, and Isabel showed her comfort and confidence by taking on this challenge. What a find! I highly recommend Isabel.

Kate happily took on the responsibility of our pet's medications, easily changing applications as the vet indicated. She's a gem!

Mishka texted us and said “Thank you, Bora! Appreciate you taking me to the park to play with my friendz!”

Jamie has been great with walking our senior dog and paying attention to his needs. We so appreciate her communication and support!

Laura is a great walker for our puppy! She’s super attentive with lots of pics and care spent. Highly recommend.

Kyra is awesome! Gizmo had just the best time on his walk with her, up all the hills and back down again. His pictures are absolutely holiday card worthy!! We wouldn't hesitate at all to have her come by to check on our very special pup!
