About: I’ve had animals in my house since I was a baby. I grew up with dogs, a bird, and many fish; and I eventually owned a cat as an adult. I am great with senior animals and/or those with special needs and can successfully administer medications or help with changing dressings for injuries. I am a freelance musician, so I make my own schedule. I have a lot of free time during the days, and my gigs usually only last a few hours in the evening time. My home is cozy and comfortable for pets! My neighborhood is very walkable and pet-friendly. I love to spend time with animals and keep them happy and entertained.

About: Hello! I moved to NOLA about a year ago, but I have been caring for pets of all types (dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, chickens, birds) for 10+ years. I grew up with dogs, rabbits, hamsters, mice, chickens, parakeets, and tarantulas, and I have experience caring for horses, sheep, and cows. At minimum, I can do 30 minute drop-in visits for feeding and fresh water changes, litterbox cleanings or pottybreaks, and playtime. If you'd like longer visits, I can do a full hour. I'm very comfortable walking multiple dogs as well. Additionally, I'm familiar with giving all forms of medication, even injections if necessary. I once had to give a cat Prozac! If I am house sitting, I can provide all related house sitting services: bring in your mail or newspapers, collect packages, water your plants, manage repairmen entry or any in-person deliveries, turn off/on lights as necessary, and update you on any weather events. Laura was fantastic, and we had no worries about leaving Fika in her very capable hands. She carefully managed the introduction of the dogs to each other so there were no issues, and sent lots of photos and updates throughout the day to make sure we didn’t worry.
Amazing experience for us and our dog Lil Buddy! Amanda met us at her door so could catch boat cruise, so we already felt really safe to leave Buddy with her because she was a good communicator. She sent us update photo, which made us comfortable enough to enjoy our anniversary lunch cause our dog was in safe and loving hands ♥️ We will book Amanda again for sure and would recommend her to everyone ☺️

Linley took great care of our golden retriever for 4 long afternoons while we were playing tourist in New Orleans. She has a great house and a fenced yard and also gave lots of couch cuddles.
