About: I’ve cared for dogs for over 5 years and truly love being around animals. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and check in on their pets while they’re away. I’m responsible, attentive, and make sure every dog feels comfortable and cared for. Whether your dog needs a walk, playtime, or just someone to keep them company, I treat every pet like my own and prioritize their safety and happiness. 🐶 💕 I’m currently in flight training, but other than flying for a few hours a week at the airport, I am available to care for your pets! With a lot of availability every day of the week, I have the flexibility to provide your pets with time and extra special care and attention! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. When taking care of a client’s pets, I always follow the owner’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, and playtime—routine and genuine care are key! I’m attentive and patient to ensure each pet feels comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. I’m happy to stay with your pet as long as you’d like during visits so they get plenty of attention and TLC! 🤗 I also love sharing regular photo updates so you can see how your pet is doing and feel happy and comfortable while you’re away :)

About: Hi there! My name is Stephanie and have ample experience and tons of love for dogs! We have rescued a few pups with varying personalities and support requirements from partial paralysis, fear-aggression and anxiety. I have experience in dog walking, boarding and administration of medications (our own pup takes meds daily). I do have a 2 year old toddler at home along with an 11-year-old dachshund mix so any boarding requests should take that into consideration and will be vetted accordingly! I do work from home so your love bug would get lots of attention !
About: I have lived with and trained multiple dogs and cats for my entire life! I am a massive animal lover and I have cared for disabled, senior, and young dogs! I am flexible with my hours. Some days I can spend the entire day in the house, others I can be there every 2-4 hours, and others I can do 4-8 hours. I work full days in Crystal Lake, but I can make my own hours to suit your needs. I am a very hands-on person. I cater to each dog's needs! Some dogs need lots of physical exercise as well as mental stimulation. I have experience with utilizing training techniques, puzzle toys, and stimulating activities for working breeds or high-energy dogs. I have patience for the senior dogs and have no issue with supporting their body weight and monitoring health.
“Miranda was fantastic. She stopped to meet Zelda before the scheduled walks. She kept me updated and everything went perfectly. Zelda feels comfortable with her already and they get along great. Highly recommended!”

About: I have had pets my entire life and have taken care of everything from newborn puppies to senior dogs, who need extra love, patience, and care. This includes dogs who were both blind and deaf. I have experience with dogs of all sizes from chihuahuas to Chows. In my most recent years, I have acquired multiple cats and have gained a clear understanding of these wonderful, funny animals. Pet care will be done around my full time job. I have a set schedule of 8-4:30 Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday. I will be able to provide care before and after work, as well as on weekend days I do not work. I currently am only available for work in an owner's home. I will walk, feed, play with and clean up after pets as close to their usual schedules as possible. Pets will have to be able to be left alone during my regular working hours but care will be provided before and after those hours. I am willing to administer non-injectable medication.
About: I am a pediatric nurse. I have close to 10 years of dog and cat experience through family pets and recently a diabetic dog named Dexter (has since passed away) I have experience providing oral and injectable medications for dogs. I work three 12-hour shifts per week but each week varies. However, I have flexibility in choosing what days I want to work. I'm typically up at 5am for work so if you need to drop your pet off early or need early check ins I'm available! I live in a single family home with wife. We have safety gates and crates in our home for when we have to step out of the house. I will separate our dog from other dogs if necessary. Food is always kept in a safe spot that no dog can get into. Our subdivision is surrounded by open fields so there are plenty of areas to walk. The backyard is large and fenced in. Fence does not have slats so next door dogs do not have a way in unless we want them for playtime. I walk our dog multiple times a day for potty breaks/exercise. I always walk our dog with a leash and will do so with other dogs. I love to snuggle and play with dogs and will do so with yours! I am happy to meet in advance to discuss any needs required and to make sure I am the best fit for your dog! As a dog parent I understand that dogs are a member of the family that require special care. I want to provide the best, stress-free care for your pup. I can check in as often as you request and will provide pictures and updates throughout the service.

“Chris came to our rescue with little notice, as we had a family event enter our lives, and I can’t thank Chris enough. Our introductory meeting with Tricksy, our Shar Pei, went very smoothly as Chris was confident and open around her. She also listened carefully to Tricksy’s personal habits and idiosyncrasies. Wee felt positive about having the drop-on visits and Chris kept us well informed with messages and photos. Can’t thank her enough for helping us through this time of grieving for my family.”

“Autumn was wonderful and all four of our pups, even our shy one warmed up and felt comfortable around her immediately. Autumn was in regular communication and sent some great photos and feedback on all of our girls after her visit. We’ve never had anyone except family members care for our girls and felt at ease after meeting Autumn and thought she did a wonderful job. We plan to book boarding with her and some additional drop in visits as well. Very happy and would recommend.”

If you have any questions feel free to contact me :) I am a stay at home fur mom who enjoys helping others out with there own pups needs while they are away! Then from 8:30am-6pm we are having fun which could be playing outside hanging in the house learning a new trick or going on a walk! 6:30pm is dinner time. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
