My whole life I’ve been the person who chases down a loose dog to find its owner, takes in strays, and stops on the side of the road for an animal in need. I have professional experience in dog daycare and kennel work, but my actual experience goes way beyond that. Over the years I’ve cared for dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, fish, snakes, iguanas, hamsters, gerbils, rats, lizards, and more. If it has a heartbeat I’ve probably loved one and figured out how to care for it. I currently have 5 rescue cats of my own and care for a colony of outdoor strays — they have insulated shelters with heat mats, daily food and fresh water year round. Rain or shine. I’m not just someone who watches pets. I’m a bleeding heart animal lover who treats every single one like my own. Your pet won’t just be cared for — they’ll be genuinely loved while you’re gone. 🐾 My availability is wide open — pet care is my priority and I can work around your schedule. About: I am a pediatric nurse. I have close to 10 years of dog and cat experience through family pets and recently a diabetic dog named Dexter (has since passed away) I have experience providing oral and injectable medications for dogs. I work three 12-hour shifts per week but each week varies. However, I have flexibility in choosing what days I want to work. I'm typically up at 5am for work so if you need to drop your pet off early or need early check ins I'm available! I live in a single family home with wife. We have safety gates and crates in our home for when we have to step out of the house. I will separate our dog from other dogs if necessary. Food is always kept in a safe spot that no dog can get into. Our subdivision is surrounded by open fields so there are plenty of areas to walk. The backyard is large and fenced in. Fence does not have slats so next door dogs do not have a way in unless we want them for playtime. I walk our dog multiple times a day for potty breaks/exercise. I always walk our dog with a leash and will do so with other dogs. I love to snuggle and play with dogs and will do so with yours! I am happy to meet in advance to discuss any needs required and to make sure I am the best fit for your dog! As a dog parent I understand that dogs are a member of the family that require special care. I want to provide the best, stress-free care for your pup. I can check in as often as you request and will provide pictures and updates throughout the service.

About: I foster dogs for a rescue so I have plenty of experience with caring for and watching dogs. I even have tons of experience with puppies. I’m a teacher so I have summers off and am home during the day and the night during summers! Take advantage of my schedule and allow me to help you keep your furbabies happy! I have experience with crate training and other training as well and I’d be happy to follow any training procedures that you have set up in your household for your animals as long as you let me know! I have 3 dogs of my own so your animals must get along with other animals, I can keep them separate from my animals but it would be easier if I didn’t have to do that!

I took a break from Rover while caring for my senior dog through the final stage of her life, but this work-from-home nonprofit leader is excited to open here home to dogs again. About: I have been around animals of all kinds my whole life. Love being around animals. Famil has always ask me to watch their pets. And love to. I work at an animal clinic, and have 3 cats and 2 dogs at home. Love coming home and getting all that love. Animals are always a part of my daily life.
