“2nd time using Michelle. Still awesome to work with. My dogs were excited to see her! Can’t get a better reception than that. Thank you for giving us a nice weekend away to visit family!”

“I’ve booked with Julia several times and she will continue to be my go-to whenever I need a dog sitter. Julia is great to work with and takes excellent care of my dog. My dog is always excited to see her and I really appreciate that I can travel and know that everything my dog needs is taken care of. Thanks, Julia!”

About: Aside from being a dog, horse, and cat mom for over 20 years, I also have 5 years of experience working in a veterinary clinic, 2 years of experience as a dog trainer, and a year of experience working in a dog shelter. I have a wide range of expertise in many areas of animal needs, including animal health and behavior. Currently, I am available during evenings and weekends for pet care, including boarding or sitting for animals that are used to being alone during regular working hours. During summer and spring break I will also have increased availability as I am a teacher. My pets are like my children. They receive the best care as far as feeding, exercise, enrichment, medical care, and training. When I am watching someone else’s pet, I love them like they are my own. I am an animal lover and strive to make sure any animal in my care feels loved and safe.
“We had Brandi watch our two Maine Coon cats while we were in California. These cats are my babies and so I left Brandi 3 pages of instructions on feeding etc. Brandi sent photos of my babies while we were gone and slept at our house. My cats were extremely well cared for in her care. We will definitely use Brandi when we have another trip.”

About: I've been caring for dogs and cats for nearly my entire life, so your furry friends will be in very experienced hands. I find genuine joy in being around animals and truly love the bond that comes with pet sitting. Since I believe staying active is essential for a happy pet, I especially enjoy taking dogs on long walks. It’s a great way for them to burn off energy and explore, providing a mutual benefit of exercise and fresh air for both myself and your pup! Lifelong Experience: Hands-on care with a variety of animals since childhood. Large Animal Familiarity: Comfortable and capable with both large and small dogs Active Care Style: Dedicated to ensuring your pet gets the movement and stimulation they need. I’m currently a full time college student and attend classes two days a week. This allows me to have an open and consistent schedule to care for the needs of clients! Growing up, I participated in dog obedience training with my county’s 4-H program. This experience allows me to promote a safe and nurturing environment while allowing the dog to have a positive experience.
“Ewa is such a great sitter. She just loves dogs (cats too but I only have a dog). It might be hard to trust someone new to come into your house when you're not home to take care of your fur baby, but Ewa gives me such a good feeling, I don't worry at all about the house or my Maizy.”

About: I’ve taken care of a wide range of pets, ages, and have even done a little training. My experience stems from running my own pet sitting business in the Northwoods of WI for 4 years. I am currently a student at NIU so I will be scheduling around my classes. Monday-Wednesday I have class usually 8:30-3pm & Thursday from 8:30-5pm, but things change. School comes first so I am specifically looking for lower maintenance gigs so I can manage school readings. BONUS points if your pet loves snuggles. I only care for pets in my clients home simply because Im not allowed to take them to my apartment. I’m very communicative and always answer my phone :) if you need extra help with plant care or getting the mail I am at your aid!
“Abigail was an amazing dog sitter for our little rescue dog. He can be a tricky one with lots of separation anxiety, but Abigail was such a great support and comfort to him. She was very communicative and tried everything she could to make sure he was happy and healthy. She went above and beyond and we are so thankful to have had her as our sitter!”

“Michelle was polite, courteous and professional. Overall, she did the best she could with my youngest rescue being timid to the point of going inside the house for the three days I was travelling. Not her fault and I would like to continue for future trips in hopes of her acclimating to my shy, timid boy.”

About: I have many years of cat and dog sitting including my own pets and friends and family as well some neighbors as well I love it I have open availability and love to spend time with pets at all times and would like to experience new adventures with some new pets I have a fenced yard and a spare room to keep them separated if necessary from my own pets we have small children that are good with animals
About: Caring for animals (both young and young at heart) isn’t just something I do — it’s who I am. I grew up in a house that was basically a zoo, and that never stopped. My whole life I’ve been the person who chases down a loose dog to find its owner, takes in strays, and stops on the side of the road for an animal in need. I have professional experience in dog daycare and kennel work, but my actual experience goes way beyond that. Over the years I’ve cared for dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, fish, snakes, iguanas, hamsters, gerbils, rats, lizards, and more. If it has a heartbeat I’ve probably loved one and figured out how to care for it. I currently have 5 rescue cats of my own and care for a colony of outdoor strays — they have insulated shelters with heat mats, daily food and fresh water year round. Rain or shine. I’m not just someone who watches pets. I’m a bleeding heart animal lover who treats every single one like my own. Your pet won’t just be cared for — they’ll be genuinely loved while you’re gone. 🐾 My availability is wide open — pet care is my priority and I can work around your schedule. I have one standing weekly appointment on Tuesday afternoons but am otherwise completely flexible. I have 5 cats of my own, all rescues, and I also care for outdoor strays with insulated shelters and heat mats year round. Your pet will be treated with that same level of love and attention in your home or mine.
About: Paws & Pals; Pet B&B and In-Home Care is a collaboration of the mother-daughter team, Nancy Grandinetti and her daughter, Jessica Boyd. With a shared, and boundless passion for animal welfare, and 50+ years of animal experience (between the two of us), you can be sure that you are leaving your fur-mily in the best possible hands! Nancy (51yo) began her long history in pet care at age 13, working in her uncle’s veterinary practice. During her time at Glendale Animal Hospital [Glen Ellyn, IL], she volunteered for EVERYTHING, from grooming to medication administration. This was followed shortly by her first “real” job at Save-A-Pet. Thus, began her long history of both jobs and volunteerism in the animal care community. Currently, even though her career has currently led her to sales, Nancy is a registered foster home for CPR Fund Canine Rescue [www.cprfund,com], specializing in difficult to rehabilitate dogs. Due to her work-from-home schedule, Nancy is primarily available for in-home boarding. She’s specifically set up for doggos that prefer to be alone. Jessica (34yo), instilled with her mother’s enthusiasm for animal care, has expanded that passion into equine and farm care. She has worked with a myriad of animals, including wild and exotic species. Presently, she has found her home as a part-time senior barn assistant at Main Stay Therapeutic Riding Farm [www.mainstayfarm,org]. As a homeschooling mother of three, Jessica’s primary services include dog walking, drop-in home visits, and pack-friendly boarding. About: I have a wealth of experience caring for dogs of all sizes while my parents were on vacation. I’m skilled in handling potty-trained puppies and have experience with special needs dogs, including those who are deaf or blind. Ensuring their comfort and well-being is my top priority. I love to keep pet parents updated with plenty of photos, whether I'm providing drop-in services or taking them for a walk. Additionally, I have experience with exotic birds and small mammals like hamsters and rats. Plus, as a proud cat mom, I understand the unique needs of our feline friends! As a dedicated dog walker and pet mom myself, my schedule is quite flexible as a server compared to the traditional 9-to-5. This allows me to easily adapt to your needs and ensure that your furry friend gets the bathroom breaks & love they deserve. My off-peak hours, especially during the winter months, give me even more time to devote to your pet, ensuring they receive all the love and attention they need! While I don't offer boarding in my home due to having a small child and four cats, I'm more than happy to accommodate pets that are friendly and comfortable with little ones. I invite any pet parents to set up a meet and greet to ensure a good fit. During their stay, pets are treated like family and are allowed on our couch and bed, enjoying a cozy, loving environment. When caring for pets in your home, I understand how important security and peace of mind are. I’m completely comfortable with having cameras inside for your reassurance, and I promise to respect your space by not bringing anyone else into your home—trust is key. With extensive experience in house sitting and dog sitting prior to joining Rover, I always take the time to go over your pet’s daily routine, ensuring they feel at ease. This way, you can enjoy your vacation with complete peace of mind! I also love sending updates and pictures everyday.

About: Hi! I’m Erika, a lifelong animal lover who grew up on a Nebraska farm surrounded by animals of all kinds. I took a break from Rover while caring for my senior dog through the final stage of her life, but this work-from-home nonprofit leader is excited to open here home to dogs again. I have experience with all kinds of pets, but I especially shine with dogs (and pet parents) who need a little extra attention. That might mean managing separation anxiety, giving medications to a stubborn pup, caring for seniors, or helping energetic dogs burn off their zoomies on long “sniffaris.” And if you’re the kind of pet parent who likes updates, you’re in good company; I was that dog mom too. I love sharing frequent photos and updates so you can relax knowing exactly how your pup is doing. A few things about my home and care style: • My fiancé and I both work from home, so dogs are rarely (if ever!) left alone • Comfortable environment for small and medium dogs; larger dogs are welcome, but tend to do best here if they’re older or more mellow • Experienced with medications, senior care, special routines, picky eaters, and separation anxiety • Lots of snuggles, walks, and very personalized attention. I’m highly attuned to each dog’s needs! Professionally, I lead fundraising at a national nonprofit organization (from home!), and I bring that same level of responsibility to caring for your pet. My goal is simple: help your dog feel safe, loved, and completely at home while you’re away (and keep you at ease while you’re apart). I have a wonderful full-time career in the non-profit sector at a lung cancer research foundation, which allows me to work remotely. This affords me time and flexibility to show up and care for your pet (and home) with the level of love and attention you desire. No day is typical because every pet and pet parent is unique. I adapt to keep your pet’s schedule consistent while you are away! What I commit to in my work as a Rover Sitter: 1.) NEEDS MET: Your and your pets' needs are 100% met; instructions followed perfectly 2.) COMMUNICATION: Daily photos and check-ins—more if you would like 3.) MY TIME & CARE: Lots and lots of time spent with your pet, especially if they have extra needs or separation anxiety 4.) SAFETY & RESPECT: To leave your home as nice or better than I found it and to keep your pet healthy, happy, and safe 5.) PEACE OF MIND: Doing what it takes to keep your mind at ease regarding both your pet and your home while you are away 6.) TRUST: If desired, I will happily meet with you in advance to ensure we can establish trust and expectations together
About: I foster dogs for a rescue so I have plenty of experience with caring for and watching dogs. I even have tons of experience with puppies. I’m a teacher so I have summers off and am home during the day and the night during summers! Take advantage of my schedule and allow me to help you keep your furbabies happy! I have experience with crate training and other training as well and I’d be happy to follow any training procedures that you have set up in your household for your animals as long as you let me know! I have 3 dogs of my own so your animals must get along with other animals, I can keep them separate from my animals but it would be easier if I didn’t have to do that!
