We have rescued a few pups with varying personalities and support requirements from partial paralysis, fear-aggression and anxiety. I have experience in dog walking, boarding and administration of medications (our own pup takes meds daily). I do have a 2 year old toddler at home along with an 11-year-old dachshund mix so any boarding requests should take that into consideration and will be vetted accordingly! About: I’ve always loved cats just as much as I love dogs sadly I don’t have any of my own at home because my dad and brother are allergic but that doesn’t stop me from loving on any cat that will let me! I have done a decent amount of volunteer work with cats the past year plus I help with my friends cat named Purdy when I’m over sometimes. I do most of the nail trimming I’ll also help out with the litter box, picking up after her, and feeding her breakfast or dinner if it’s time and I’m around. I’ve also just in general have built a pretty solid bond with her we love playing together, watching the small animals outside, and cuddling when she’s feeling up to it!

I currently have a female Aussie/Pit mix, currently fostering a female Blue Doberman, and have had Doberman Pinschers in the past from puppies through old age until the rainbow bridge. About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was really young. Other than always having a dog of my own, I’ve taken care of pets of family, friends, and neighbors. I am currently trying to apprentice in a very competitive field and pet sitting is my in between job while I look for better positions. I live on a small farm, before my dogs passed I walked them twice a day, I have bout toys and boxes to entertain my cats, handled my lizard with care and an appropriately sized tank, and trained my horse slowly and it has really kept him healthy in his old age. Animals in my care will receive the attention, exercise and safety they need. I have a very open schedule as I am not yet employed but have applied at pharmacies. I also work a couple shifts at the Cold Stone and get to bring home ice cream oftentimes. I feed them and change their water every everyday, play with them, search for enriching toys for them to play with. With. Sometimes I put on TV for them and my girl cat likes when I rock her.

I have close to 10 years of dog and cat experience through family pets and recently a diabetic dog named Dexter (has since passed away) I have experience providing oral and injectable medications for dogs. I work three 12-hour shifts per week but each week varies. However, I have flexibility in choosing what days I want to work. I'm typically up at 5am for work so if you need to drop your pet off early or need early check ins I'm available! I live in a single family home with wife. We have safety gates and crates in our home for when we have to step out of the house. I will separate our dog from other dogs if necessary. Food is always kept in a safe spot that no dog can get into. Our subdivision is surrounded by open fields so there are plenty of areas to walk. The backyard is large and fenced in. Fence does not have slats so next door dogs do not have a way in unless we want them for playtime. I walk our dog multiple times a day for potty breaks/exercise. I always walk our dog with a leash and will do so with other dogs. I love to snuggle and play with dogs and will do so with yours! I am happy to meet in advance to discuss any needs required and to make sure I am the best fit for your dog!
