About: Paws & Pals; Pet B&B and In-Home Care is a collaboration of the mother-daughter team, Nancy Grandinetti and her daughter, Jessica Boyd. With a shared, and boundless passion for animal welfare, and 50+ years of animal experience (between the two of us), you can be sure that you are leaving your fur-mily in the best possible hands! Nancy (51yo) began her long history in pet care at age 13, working in her uncle’s veterinary practice. This was followed shortly by her first “real” job at Save-A-Pet. Thus, began her long history of both jobs and volunteerism in the animal care community. Currently, even though her career has currently led her to sales, Nancy is a registered foster home for CPR Fund Canine Rescue [www.cprfund,com], specializing in difficult to rehabilitate dogs. Due to her work-from-home schedule, Nancy is primarily available for in-home boarding. She’s specifically set up for doggos that prefer to be alone. Jessica (34yo), instilled with her mother’s enthusiasm for animal care, has expanded that passion into equine and farm care. She has worked with a myriad of animals, including wild and exotic species. As a homeschooling mother of three, Jessica’s primary services include dog walking, drop-in home visits, and pack-friendly boarding. About: I have taken care of dogs for over 20 years. I consistently watch and/or walk 5 dogs and have experience with small and midsize pets. I currently work full-time from home and have a flexible schedule. With enough notice, I can schedule around routines and walks easily. Weekends are typically flexible as well. Currently, there is no dog living in the home so it would just be your pet(s). We allow them on furniture but adhere to whatever makes them more comfortable (ie. if they prefer crates vs. free roam, we are happy to follow any guidelines.) Smoke-free home. I work from home and will be present with them all day. We do not have a yard but I typically walk 3-4x a day.

About: I’ve worked in animal healthcare as a veterinary technician for nine years and have extensive experience caring for very young and chaotic to geriatric, medically complex, and behaviorally challenging pets. I’m comfortable administering medications in all forms and following detailed care plans! I work currently in veterinary medicine but am able to care for your pets after work, on days off during the week, weekends and holidays. I have many years of experience with care for multiple species and all the intricacies that come with them! I am able to continue your pet's routine care while you are away. From staying in home, walks/enrichment/exercise, feedings, medications of all routes, and more. Whatever they need to be happy and healthy until you are home!

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. I had my childhood dog, as well as caring for numerous family members animals. I‘ve done everything from popping over to watch cats and refill their food to overnight stays to care for animals. I currently work full time, but I can always work things into my schedule as that is the only other thing in my life currently! I love when owners leave me notes regarding their pets care and little trick and habits that will help the pets feel more comfortable. I ensure safety and care to any pets I sit or walk.

About: I have experiences with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I always ask for as many details about a pet's routines, favorite things, and commands/training words so that I can make transitions as smooth and low-stress for your pet! I'm not currently working, so I have plenty of time open for pet care! My schedule can vary from week to week but generally I have a lot of open time during weekdays. I maintain very open communication about how your pet is doing, send pictures at least once per day during house-sitting, and remain honest when anything happens.

About: I am experienced in administering medicinal injections, nail trimming and teeth brushing of larger breeds, lifting 60+ lbs, pad and potty training, and assisting senior and special needs dogs. I currently work remote and spend most of the day with my own pup by my side. We go to the nearby dog park at least weekly, go on two 20-25 minute walks (1mi+) daily, and play regularly throughout the day. He is very friendly and happy to tag along for any walks or play times, if the company is welcomed. I have a large crate available, if needed, and an in ground stake in the front and back yard with 30ft leads attached, allowing for plenty of time outside in shaded and unshaded areas. Food bowls are cleaned after every meal and pet waste is cleaned up after every trip outside.

I can provide many references if needed. I currently work from home so I am very flexible with days and hours. I am also able to pick your pup up or drop off if you need me too. About: I have worked at the animal shelter for the past 4 years when home from college and I have 4 dogs of my own at home :) I love all animals especially dogs I have a 9-5 during the week with flexible hours giving me time to care for animals before and after work. I also work remote on Wednesdays and Fridays so I am free anytime those days and weekends to care for animals. I have a fenced in yard and dogs of my own that your dogs can play with. I can also crate your dog or do any other requests that the animal would normally do in their own home.

About: Caring for dogs has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. With 3 years of vet tech experience and 2 years at a doggy daycare, I bring both professional knowledge and genuine love to every dog I care for. I understand dog behavior, medications, and individual needs, and I treat every dog as if they were my own- so you can feel confident your pet is safe, understood, and deeply cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. While I'm currently in school Tuesdays and Thursdays, most of the time I'm home, which gives me open and flexible availability for pet care. I enjoy staying active through walks and hikes, so daily exercise and outdoor time with dogs is something I happily incorporate into my routine. Being home allows me to provide consistent supervision, attention and a calm, caring environment where pets feel safe and well cared for. I care for pets with a calm, loving and attentive approach, whether in my home or a client's home. In my home, dogs have plenty of space to relax and play, including a large fenced-in yard and a comfortable, spacious house. I also live near several forest preserves, which allows for enriching walks and outdoor time when appropriate. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, including feeding schedules and medications, and any special needs, to ensure comfort. Because I may be caring for other dogs and I have a dog of my own, I always ask about a pet's temperament and how they do around other dogs to make sure everyone stays safe, happy and stress-free.
