“Taylor was absolutely fantastic! I am very nervous leaving my big German shepherd with anyone (I’m a bit of a helicopter parent) but Taylor got on with him very well! She dropped in on him during a very long day at work for me, gave him a bit of attention and a potty break, and all went smoothly! She communicated quickly when she was with him and even brought in my heavy chewy box of dog food that was delivered! I can’t say how happy I am to have someone that seems to like my big boy and will be able to take care of him when I need. Taylor is awesome!!”

About: I am experienced in administering medicinal injections, nail trimming and teeth brushing of larger breeds, lifting 60+ lbs, pad and potty training, and assisting senior and special needs dogs. I currently work remote and spend most of the day with my own pup by my side. We go to the nearby dog park at least weekly, go on two 20-25 minute walks (1mi+) daily, and play regularly throughout the day. He is very friendly and happy to tag along for any walks or play times, if the company is welcomed. I have a large crate available, if needed, and an in ground stake in the front and back yard with 30ft leads attached, allowing for plenty of time outside in shaded and unshaded areas. Food bowls are cleaned after every meal and pet waste is cleaned up after every trip outside.

About: Have had dogs my whole life and we are active foster parents for a local animal shelter where we specialize in seniors and the friends who are having a rough time adjusting to shelter life. I am able to be home 24/7 to care for your pet. Love to walk and spend time outdoors and will be able to follow any schedule to keep your dog comfortable and spoiled. We do not have a fenced yard so all dogs will be taken out on a leash. Great communication from owners will let us know if there are any other things to watch out for.
About: I have a fenced in yard that pets can't escape from. 6 foot privacy fence .Loving home and I have bred Collies many years ago and have many puppies, I am almost always home. I have had dogs and cats for 40 years, Due to their aging all at the same time, I lost 3 pets in the past 9 months. About: I am back on Rover after taking a long break when a dear friend needed housing with her 3 dogs for an extended period. I have owned dogs for over 40 years. After losing my 16 yr old Aussie several years ago, I started watching friend's dogs to help my survivor pup adjust to the loss. My clients at Rover have been an absolute blessing for my own pets. Each weather permitting day includes 2 walks and lots of supervision and unlimited indoor/outdoor playtime at home. I provide very frequent outdoor breaks and a roomy backyard with a locked fence with security cameras that is perfect for active dogs to run. I am home all day. I have a huge soft spot and enormous patience for all animals, and will treat your family member with all the love that I have for my own. I text photo updates or snapchats to help you feel confident about how your pet is doing. I also honor your feeding schedule and will work with your pups needs to keep them (and you) as comfortable as possible while you are away. I offer overnight supervision or day care, a cage-free environment (if desired), care for elderly dogs, or dogs who require oral medication. *** In most cases, I limit myself to 2 overnight guest dogs (or 3 if from the same family), so that your pups get lots of focused attention and to reduce the amount of 'new stuff' that they would need to navigate during your absence. *** Last minute bookings are usually no problem as long as we can squeeze in a meet and greet. About: I’ve raised/trained my rescue pup Bear on my own from when he was 13 weeks old and now he is 6. And I’ve been around animals my whole life. I recently did I private group animal training session with Cesar Millan at his Dog Psychology Center. I also have volunteered at Wild Bird Rehab many times. Both Bear and I love having more pet company in the home. Unfortunately, I do not have a fenced in yard but there is a small fenced in dog park in my neighborhood that is rarely used by other dogs. About: I live in an apartment and am unable to keep a pet due to the lease conditions. This has left me with a hole in my heart for connection with pets. I would adore the opportunity to spend time with your pet and care for them. Growing up, we had a yellow Labrador Retriever named Sandy who I felt was the best dog we could possibly have asked for. I trained her, taught her tricks, and played with her almost constantly. In more recent years, I took care of Daisy who was a medium sized mixed breed with spunk. She belonged to an ex-partner and I cared for her as if she was my own. She needed lots of stimulation and outlet for energy as well; we had multiple walks a day and it was fun to see her solving playful challenges I made. I grew up around rabbits that I adored, and even dressed them up in my doll’s clothes! My sister and I later raised rabbits for several years. We brought them everywhere we could and had special harnesses and leashes to walk them around the neighborhood or pet store, etc. They also liked to run around our backyard with our dog. I am comfortable around cats, hairless or not! I allow them to approach me, rather than crowd their space. When they want to, I love cuddling with cats and feeling them purr. I have usually cared for multiple cats at once. Although I have never lived with a cat, I am confident in caring for them and interacting with them. My roommate has six ferrets and they each hold a little piece of my heart. I give them medication when she is stuck at work late, and let them out to play. They are such curious and playful little creatures! Staying late at the office? Let me stop by to feed, pet, play with, and exercise your pet. No time in the early mornings or during lunch? Let me take the time you wish you had to care for them. While my own home is not pet friendly, I am happy to visit yours. If your pet has a routine and schedule they are on, I want to keep that seamlessly running for you. If your pet is adventurous, I want to keep them engaged.

About: Hi there! I am so excited to finally be making my pet-sitting official with Rover. I am still new-ish to the area after having moved back in with my parents a little less than a year ago (originally from New Jersey, then moved to California for college and work). I have had the pleasure of taking care of my family dog (Winnie the Cavapoo) since we got her 9 years ago. Hanging out with her is one of my favorite things to do, and she truly makes each day better with every walk we go on and every cuddle we share. I've also gotten to dog-sit for some of my best friends and locals while I was in college, and it really helped me whenever I was missing my Winnie girl! My only hope is to provide you with peace of mind that your pup is in good hands with me! My schedule is pretty wide open and flexible! If there is a time/day on my schedule that looks unavailable, message me and I'll see if I can move things around to make it work (as I share a car with a family member). If you need me to come over and pet-sit at your home, I will respect all the rules you provide me with so you are comfortable with having me in your home while I watch your fur baby. Please let me know in advance to your booking if your pet is allowed on furniture, or in certain areas of your home, and what/where are absolute no-go's, so I can remember to keep them away from those areas. If you use a crate with them, please let me know how you use it with them - if they must be crated the entirety of time while indoors aside from meal and potty times, or if for certain periods of time. If you have a backyard that is fenced and secure, I am comfortable with letting them of their leash (if you permit it) so they have free reign to run around, but if it is not an enclosed space, I am not comfortable letting them off their leash, even if they are trained perfectly - just want to be safe and take all the precautions I can to make sure they are safe while with me!

I don’t mind going on long walks or hanging back Whatever is more comfortable for your pups I have a spacious home, i live in a duplex On the bottom floor. I also Live right across a beach to take the pups to sit by the water or go swimming and near a forest preserve to walk and adventure.
About: I would take my dog out for walks everyday since I was 13 and would make sure she was cared for, played with, and properly groomed I am currently working two jobs part-time, but I am often available to walk dogs (morning, day or afternoon) or cat-sit in my free time. In my home, we make sure our cats are fed at least twice a day and we scoop their litter everyday. When we had my senior dog, we would let her outside often to get some exercise and would bathe her at least once a month when she got dirty.
About: I have had family dogs all my life. Currently I have two senior cats and two Belgian Malinois who are part of my family. We’re a very active family and enjoy being outdoors. I’m a stay at home mom which allows me to have a flexible schedule, unless I have appointments for the kiddos. I’m part time military so I won’t be available those weekends but I’ll let you know in advance 🫶 I’m a stay at home mom and a weekend warrior, iykyk. Availability is open unless I’m scheduled for drill and I’ll give an advanced notice or if I have appointments scheduled. I’ll follow your instructions to the T. My dogs have taught me a lot about dog behaviors and what to look out for. Either way I tend to avoid anything that may upset any dog. Cats are much more independent and they usually just need feeding and cleaning.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life, big and small! Currently I own two small dogs and a Golden Retriever! They are my whole world, I walk, play, train, and love them day in and day out. Dogs are my favorite animals and it would be a blessing to be able to provide, love and care for anyone’s dog! My availability ranges each day with school when it comes down to how long potty breaks would be, but besides that I would be available consistently throughout the day! I’m highly organized, caring, loving and athletic! I love the outdoors and being active so walking, running, or jogging with your dog wouldn’t be a problem!
