“Taylor was absolutely fantastic! I am very nervous leaving my big German shepherd with anyone (I’m a bit of a helicopter parent) but Taylor got on with him very well! She dropped in on him during a very long day at work for me, gave him a bit of attention and a potty break, and all went smoothly! She communicated quickly when she was with him and even brought in my heavy chewy box of dog food that was delivered! I can’t say how happy I am to have someone that seems to like my big boy and will be able to take care of him when I need. Taylor is awesome!!”

I can provide many references if needed. I currently work from home so I am very flexible with days and hours. I am also able to pick your pup up or drop off if you need me too. Hazardous items are kept out of reach, and I supervise the dog closely, especially if they're exploring new surroundings.

About: I've had pets all my life (cats, dogs, fish, even a frog!) and did animal rescue for several years in Arizona- helping at adoption events, home visits, fostering kitties, a mama cat with 5 babies, & about a dozen dogs/puppies. I moved back to IL and am raising my 2 children and working from home. We have even rented baby chicks to help a local farm, so my kids understand pet care too. I truly understand how hard it is to find good, comforting help with pets and been there myself. I love all animals and currently have a senior female dog at home. I have proven to be a reliable helper to friends, family, neighbors, and even strangers. I've been able to save loose dogs and reunite them because of my calm demeanor with animals. I always love to give a hand to others and understand pets are family. I currently work remotely from home and have some flexibility during the day after 8AM while working and often done with work by 4PM, some days earlier. I have some kid activities on weekends, but generally home and my dog here is very laid back, sweet, and tolerates the young pups even and still loves to outrun them even lol. I have availability most on weekends for walks, but can try to arrange things time to time. I can squeeze in let outs when not in meetings with clients. I would let you know if time doesn't permit before accepting. My yard is fenced in completely and my senior dog is very nice and will help keep them feeling comfortable. I have extra crates if needed, depending upon the service needed. I am happy to drive a reasonable distance to help with yours. If overnight at your home, please note I'd need my kids to come with me when they are out of elementary school, but they are very respectful and well behaved animal lovers too. I understand pets are family and safety is important to me too.

About: I love animals and taking care of them. I had a dog for 15 years before having to put him down. I love being active with dogs and playing with them and walking them. I will give them all the attention they deserve. Walk them as much as they need and love them like they are my own. Dogs are intelligent animals that deserve to be treated with respect. About: I've grown up with dogs and cats. Growing up, my family had Dalmatians, which probably began my love for large dogs. I currently have two rescue, pitty-mixes. I love the playful energy and am understanding that different dogs have different needs. My dog, Bear, is always getting into something, so I've become pretty good with first-aid! I am a very organized person and have dealt with medications given at particular times. I'd rather be overly cautious than not cautious enough! I have a senior cat that I rescued in 2010. She runs the house and that's ok by me! I love snuggling with dogs and cats alike and giving them all the attention. My education background is a Masters in Secondary Education, with a concentration in Biology, and a bachelor's degree in psychology. I'm totally OK with spending the night with your pets if needed. My husband can watch our crazy boys and cat :) I used to teach middle school science when I lived in Maryland but now I'm a stay-at-home mom in Illinois! Just let me know when you are needed and I'll make it work! I am a very organized, clean and tidy person. I totally understand how much we love our fur babies and will treat them like I'd treat my own. Again, I'd rather be overly cautious than not enough! Our babies can't voice for themselves so it is important to always advocate for them and do what is in their best interest!

About: I’ve cared for all kinds of pets—dogs, cats, and even a gecko—and have experience working at a petting zoo. I’m a proud pet parent to two dogs and two cats, so I know how important great care is. I’m comfortable giving medication, caring for senior pets, and supporting reactive pets, all while making sure every animal feels safe, happy, and loved. I’m currently in my last semester at ECC and I’m only taking a few classes, so I have plenty of free time during the week to help out! I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed, but I’m willing to do whatever I can to keep you and your pet comfortable.
