She dropped in on him during a very long day at work for me, gave him a bit of attention and a potty break, and all went smoothly! During walks: I prioritize safety by ensuring your dog is always under control, whether in urban or outdoor settings. I also ensure that pets are properly hydrated and not overexerted during their walks, adjusting the route and pace based on the pet’s age, size, and energy level. Trust is built by maintaining clear communication with the pet owner, regularly sending updates, photos, and videos to keep them informed about their pet's well-being and activities. About: Hi there! I am so excited to finally be making my pet-sitting official with Rover. I am still new-ish to the area after having moved back in with my parents a little less than a year ago (originally from New Jersey, then moved to California for college and work). I have had the pleasure of taking care of my family dog (Winnie the Cavapoo) since we got her 9 years ago. Hanging out with her is one of my favorite things to do, and she truly makes each day better with every walk we go on and every cuddle we share. I've also gotten to dog-sit for some of my best friends and locals while I was in college, and it really helped me whenever I was missing my Winnie girl! My only hope is to provide you with peace of mind that your pup is in good hands with me! My schedule is pretty wide open and flexible! If there is a time/day on my schedule that looks unavailable, message me and I'll see if I can move things around to make it work (as I share a car with a family member). If you need me to come over and pet-sit at your home, I will respect all the rules you provide me with so you are comfortable with having me in your home while I watch your fur baby. Please let me know in advance to your booking if your pet is allowed on furniture, or in certain areas of your home, and what/where are absolute no-go's, so I can remember to keep them away from those areas. If you use a crate with them, please let me know how you use it with them - if they must be crated the entirety of time while indoors aside from meal and potty times, or if for certain periods of time. If you have a backyard that is fenced and secure, I am comfortable with letting them of their leash (if you permit it) so they have free reign to run around, but if it is not an enclosed space, I am not comfortable letting them off their leash, even if they are trained perfectly - just want to be safe and take all the precautions I can to make sure they are safe while with me!

About: I have been around all different types of pets since I was 5. They have always been a part of my family. I have experience with dogs, cats, reptiles, chickens and so many more. I can provide many references if needed. I currently work from home so I am very flexible with days and hours. I am also able to pick your pup up or drop off if you need me too. Since I work from home, I am able to take them on multiple walks throughout the day! Your fur baby will be treated as if they were my own.

I’m a proud pet parent to two dogs and two cats, so I know how important great care is. I’m comfortable giving medication, caring for senior pets, and supporting reactive pets, all while making sure every animal feels safe, happy, and loved. I’m currently in my last semester at ECC and I’m only taking a few classes, so I have plenty of free time during the week to help out! I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed, but I’m willing to do whatever I can to keep you and your pet comfortable.

About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life and view the human/animal relationship as a special and unique bond that isn’t even broken with death. Aside from having empathy for animals, I have experience training puppies and kittens. I also have taken care of senior dogs and dogs with medical needs. I work in McHenry county M-F and care for animals on the weekends and after work between 4-10pm. There are a lot of nearby parks and areas safe for dog walking by my house. I do not leave dogs alone in a crate when I am not home. Dogs are allowed to sleep on the bed or couch. The max amount of time I would ever leave the dog alone is 4-5 hours. I also do middle of the night potty breaks.

About: Hi Dog lovers! My name is Abigail and dogs have been a part of my life since I can remember. Growing up I was responsible for walking, feeding and pouring attention into our two German shorthaired pointer dogs. When my neighbors would go on vacation they would ask me to watch their four dogs and I also became the 'go to' person when their dogs would get loose in the neighborhood. Fortunately, that never happened on my watch! My current dog is a high energy Pitbull Lab mix, who thinks he is a lap dog. :) Most of the dogs I have worked with have been in the 50-60 pound range but I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. Is your dog older? No problem, I can sit and give them lots of love or take them on a gentle walk. Is your dog high energy? Again, no problem, I have one of those of my own and I can play fetch or tug-a-war with them! I have no problem administering medicine if needed too. During the school year I work in a high school and coach swimming so my availability is from 3:30pm - 6:00pm, and anytime on the weekends. During the summer my schedule is much more flexible during the week and weekends. I consider myself a dog magnet because any time I encounter a dog, even for the first time, they like to jump on me or wiggle their butts, seeking my attention! Providing walks, belly rubs, and playing fetch are my jam. Dogs mean the world to me and I would love the opportunity to shower your fur babies with attention. During the school year, I am available 3:30pm - 6:00pm and weekends. During the summer (June & July) I have flexibility in my schedule every day. I am comfortable taking dogs to the park, walking them or playing with them indoor home/yard. If it is a high energy dog, I can also take them for a run.

I graduated from UW Madison with a degree in Animal and Veterinary Biosciences. I also worked at UW’s Large Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Assistant. I am comfortable giving your pet medication or working with shy or reactive dogs. I have fostered puppies, kittens, and older dogs. I also started a dog walking business in my neighborhood when I was 10 years old! I love animals! I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, turtles, fish, chickens, hermit crabs and a hedgehog. I currently live in Algonquin I work 7 am- 1 pm at a vet clinic most days. About: I've been watching dogs for family and family friends for 15 years now, before I could drive myself. I've watched many dogs with special raw Diets, and dogs that have needed insulin shots. I have never encountered a scenario I couldn't handle. I'm working full-time, but have great hours, and would spend most of my time with the animals. I'm around and available all weekends. My wife and I spend most of our time home on weekends. I have a fenced in yard and 3 dogs of my own. All of which are really friendly. We often have family member's pets over to visit. I also stay at others homes, as that is normally where animals are most familiar and feel the most safe!

About: Dogs are a gift from heaven. I have a gift of love for dogs. My dogs mean the world to me. They are everything. When ever I see someone walking their dog I say hi to the dog! I am patient and caring. I believe dogs need that because just like us they have feelings and triggers. I understand each dog is different and I will most certainly adapt to your dogs needs. And of course give plenty of snoot kisses. I am the type of dog lover to lay on the ground with your dog, have conversations and send plenty of pictures and updates to you 🧡 I work a part time job from 5am to 10am. And the rest of the day is for the dogs and whatever they need! Frequent potty breaks and long walks I have unfenced 3 acres and quiet streets and walking trails for exercise and a 7 year old boxer Shepard mix who loves to play. My dog and any dog are allowed on furniture unless you suggest otherwise. I love to walk or wven run long distance. My doggo baylee and I love to 8 miles most days.
