“Taylor was absolutely fantastic! I am very nervous leaving my big German shepherd with anyone (I’m a bit of a helicopter parent) but Taylor got on with him very well! She dropped in on him during a very long day at work for me, gave him a bit of attention and a potty break, and all went smoothly! She communicated quickly when she was with him and even brought in my heavy chewy box of dog food that was delivered! I can’t say how happy I am to have someone that seems to like my big boy and will be able to take care of him when I need. Taylor is awesome!!”

About: I have had pets consistently since i was 5 years old. I’ve had four cats and one dog, and currently have one cat and one dog. I have pet sit for family friends and people from my church since i was 13. Animals have always been a big part of my life and i love meeting new furry friends. I’m experienced with cleaning up after them, standard bathing and brushing, and taking them out on walks. I am currently working a full time job, but i have lots of time every friday and sunday to take care of pets. I am able to drop in for visits or walks after 5:30 every other monday and every other wednesday. Along with that, saturdays after 2:30 are also very open. At home, we keep our dog in her crate at night and when out of the house, so i’m comfortable with crate schedules, if that fits your pet’s needs. We have a cable outside for our dog, and many leashes for our walks.

About: Have had dogs my whole life and we are active foster parents for a local animal shelter where we specialize in seniors and the friends who are having a rough time adjusting to shelter life. I am able to be home 24/7 to care for your pet. Love to walk and spend time outdoors and will be able to follow any schedule to keep your dog comfortable and spoiled. We do not have a fenced yard so all dogs will be taken out on a leash. Great communication from owners will let us know if there are any other things to watch out for.

About: I have a fenced in yard that pets can't escape from. 6 foot privacy fence .Loving home and I have bred Collies many years ago and have many puppies, I am almost always home. I have had dogs and cats for 40 years, Due to their aging all at the same time, I lost 3 pets in the past 9 months. I am up at 5:30 or 6 am and the last time out is usually at 10 pm I do have gates in my kitchen to keep my dogs in there when needed. I have a very nice yard to them to play.

After losing my 16 yr old Aussie several years ago, I started watching friend's dogs to help my survivor pup adjust to the loss. My clients at Rover have been an absolute blessing for my own pets. Each weather permitting day includes 2 walks and lots of supervision and unlimited indoor/outdoor playtime at home. I provide very frequent outdoor breaks and a roomy backyard with a locked fence with security cameras that is perfect for active dogs to run. I am home all day. I have a huge soft spot and enormous patience for all animals, and will treat your family member with all the love that I have for my own. I text photo updates or snapchats to help you feel confident about how your pet is doing. I also honor your feeding schedule and will work with your pups needs to keep them (and you) as comfortable as possible while you are away. I offer overnight supervision or day care, a cage-free environment (if desired), care for elderly dogs, or dogs who require oral medication. *** In most cases, I limit myself to 2 overnight guest dogs (or 3 if from the same family), so that your pups get lots of focused attention and to reduce the amount of 'new stuff' that they would need to navigate during your absence. *** Last minute bookings are usually no problem as long as we can squeeze in a meet and greet. About: I live in an apartment and am unable to keep a pet due to the lease conditions. This has left me with a hole in my heart for connection with pets. I would adore the opportunity to spend time with your pet and care for them. Growing up, we had a yellow Labrador Retriever named Sandy who I felt was the best dog we could possibly have asked for. I trained her, taught her tricks, and played with her almost constantly. In more recent years, I took care of Daisy who was a medium sized mixed breed with spunk. She belonged to an ex-partner and I cared for her as if she was my own. She needed lots of stimulation and outlet for energy as well; we had multiple walks a day and it was fun to see her solving playful challenges I made. I grew up around rabbits that I adored, and even dressed them up in my doll’s clothes! My sister and I later raised rabbits for several years. We brought them everywhere we could and had special harnesses and leashes to walk them around the neighborhood or pet store, etc. They also liked to run around our backyard with our dog. I am comfortable around cats, hairless or not! I allow them to approach me, rather than crowd their space. When they want to, I love cuddling with cats and feeling them purr. I have usually cared for multiple cats at once. Although I have never lived with a cat, I am confident in caring for them and interacting with them. My roommate has six ferrets and they each hold a little piece of my heart. I give them medication when she is stuck at work late, and let them out to play. They are such curious and playful little creatures! Staying late at the office? Let me stop by to feed, pet, play with, and exercise your pet. No time in the early mornings or during lunch? Let me take the time you wish you had to care for them. While my own home is not pet friendly, I am happy to visit yours. If your pet has a routine and schedule they are on, I want to keep that seamlessly running for you. If your pet is adventurous, I want to keep them engaged.

About: Hi there! I am so excited to finally be making my pet-sitting official with Rover. I am still new-ish to the area after having moved back in with my parents a little less than a year ago (originally from New Jersey, then moved to California for college and work). I have had the pleasure of taking care of my family dog (Winnie the Cavapoo) since we got her 9 years ago. Hanging out with her is one of my favorite things to do, and she truly makes each day better with every walk we go on and every cuddle we share. I've also gotten to dog-sit for some of my best friends and locals while I was in college, and it really helped me whenever I was missing my Winnie girl! My only hope is to provide you with peace of mind that your pup is in good hands with me! My schedule is pretty wide open and flexible! If there is a time/day on my schedule that looks unavailable, message me and I'll see if I can move things around to make it work (as I share a car with a family member). If you need me to come over and pet-sit at your home, I will respect all the rules you provide me with so you are comfortable with having me in your home while I watch your fur baby. Please let me know in advance to your booking if your pet is allowed on furniture, or in certain areas of your home, and what/where are absolute no-go's, so I can remember to keep them away from those areas. If you use a crate with them, please let me know how you use it with them - if they must be crated the entirety of time while indoors aside from meal and potty times, or if for certain periods of time. If you have a backyard that is fenced and secure, I am comfortable with letting them of their leash (if you permit it) so they have free reign to run around, but if it is not an enclosed space, I am not comfortable letting them off their leash, even if they are trained perfectly - just want to be safe and take all the precautions I can to make sure they are safe while with me!

I’m currently a full time college student and attend classes two days a week. This allows me to have an open and consistent schedule to care for the needs of clients! Growing up, I participated in dog obedience training with my county’s 4-H program. This experience allows me to promote a safe and nurturing environment while allowing the dog to have a positive experience.
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. Even though I’ve never owned one personally, I’ve always been the first to step into ‘owner mode’ whenever a puppy or dog needed love, attention, or comfort. Animals have a special place in my heart, and I genuinely enjoy giving them affection, patience, and care. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away :) I’m currently working part-time and also in school, so my weekly schedule can vary. However, I’m typically available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and I often have open availability during weekdays as well. I’m flexible and can usually adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s needs. When caring for pets in your home, I follow your instructions closely and keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible. I’m gentle, patient, and very attentive to each animal’s comfort level. I make sure food, water, and potty breaks are handled safely, and I always keep doors and gates secure. I also send updates and photos during every visit so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away :))
About: I’ve been working with dogs for over 6 years I was a vet tech for 3 years, and now I work as a part time dog trainer. I have a lot of experience with dog behavior and I’m very knowledgeable with any medications and dog health. I love helping or doing what I can making them happy! 🐕🐾🦴♥️ I’m working part time so I’m home majority of the time! I don’t mind going on long walks or hanging back Whatever is more comfortable for your pups I have a spacious home, i live in a duplex On the bottom floor. I also Live right across a beach to take the pups to sit by the water or go swimming and near a forest preserve to walk and adventure.
About: I would take my dog out for walks everyday since I was 13 and would make sure she was cared for, played with, and properly groomed I am currently working two jobs part-time, but I am often available to walk dogs (morning, day or afternoon) or cat-sit in my free time. In my home, we make sure our cats are fed at least twice a day and we scoop their litter everyday. When we had my senior dog, we would let her outside often to get some exercise and would bathe her at least once a month when she got dirty.
About: I have had family dogs all my life. Currently I have two senior cats and two Belgian Malinois who are part of my family. We’re a very active family and enjoy being outdoors. I’m a stay at home mom which allows me to have a flexible schedule, unless I have appointments for the kiddos. I’m part time military so I won’t be available those weekends but I’ll let you know in advance 🫶 I’m a stay at home mom and a weekend warrior, iykyk. Availability is open unless I’m scheduled for drill and I’ll give an advanced notice or if I have appointments scheduled. I’ll follow your instructions to the T. My dogs have taught me a lot about dog behaviors and what to look out for. Either way I tend to avoid anything that may upset any dog. Cats are much more independent and they usually just need feeding and cleaning.

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life, big and small! Currently I own two small dogs and a Golden Retriever! They are my whole world, I walk, play, train, and love them day in and day out. Dogs are my favorite animals and it would be a blessing to be able to provide, love and care for anyone’s dog! My availability ranges each day with school when it comes down to how long potty breaks would be, but besides that I would be available consistently throughout the day! I’m highly organized, caring, loving and athletic! I love the outdoors and being active so walking, running, or jogging with your dog wouldn’t be a problem! I also wouldn’t mind bringing the dog with for car rides being able to take it too different conservations and atmospheres for walks!

About: I’ve taken care of my sweet 70 lb pit bull for 4 years now in my home with a fully fenced backyard, downstairs dog play area, private room and crate for your dog, and eufy camera access to the private room. My dog has esophageal dysmotility so I understand medically complicated dogs. My home is ideal for a dog that is lower energy and enjoys calm and quiet environments. I work remote so I am home throughout the day other than the occasional doctor appointment. On average when I leave the home, it’s usually only about 2 hours and the max is about 4 hours. I also take my dog to a home groomer every other week so I can coordinate with you to take your dog to my groomer when my dog goes for grooming for an extra cost plus you paying the groomer separately. The most important thing is that your dog and my dog get along and/or are neutral. When I leave for brief periods your dog will be crated in their private room with the door closed and my dog will be loose but without access to your dog. Note: I DO NOT take dogs on walks. I believe it is too high risk for potential altercation with other dogs or your pet and I being separated. The alternative will be my backyard where they can play and explore and also I have a downstairs dog play area with a large dog bed and many toys! I work fully remote so your dog will be with me at all times (unless I have an appointment or errand to run) either in my office, their own private room with a crate, or in the living room. I typically wake up around 6 am and pet care happens whenever my dog needs so I can do the same for your dog in terms of potty breaks and feeding and play time. I am typically in bed by 8 pm but will get up if needed to take my dog out to the bathroom as well. Safety is my main priority. I require that our dogs get along/are neutral to one another to prevent any sort of altercation. If there ever is an altercation, you would be informed immediately and the dogs can easily be separated for the rest of the day/boarding booking. I have a very quiet and calm home and live in a quiet neighborhood as well. I take breaks during work to get on the couch and spend time with my dog and will do the same for yours! Your dog must be crate trained and will be put in a crate for any time I must leave the home (max 4 hours at a time). Your dog will also have to be either in their crate or in their private room with the door closed while I sleep. Them being able to be in their private room with the door closed while I sleep will be allowed on a case-by-case basis. Note: I DO NOT take dogs on walks. I believe it is too high of a safety risk for potential altercation with other dogs or your pet and I being separated. The alternative will be my backyard where they can play and explore and also I have a downstairs dog play area with a large dog bed and many toys!
