She stayed pretty much all day one day and came for a visit the next day and thought my dogs to use the dog door while I was gone at work, thank goodness. About: I practically grew up with a zoo. We always had minimum 2 dogs & 3 cats. I loved volunteering at shelters. Now my husband and I own 2 dogs & 2 cats of our own and have done a little fostering. About: I've grown up with dogs and cats. Growing up, my family had Dalmatians, which probably began my love for large dogs. I currently have two rescue, pitty-mixes. I love the playful energy and am understanding that different dogs have different needs. My dog, Bear, is always getting into something, so I've become pretty good with first-aid! I am a very organized person and have dealt with medications given at particular times. I'd rather be overly cautious than not cautious enough! I have a senior cat that I rescued in 2010. She runs the house and that's ok by me! I love snuggling with dogs and cats alike and giving them all the attention. My education background is a Masters in Secondary Education, with a concentration in Biology, and a bachelor's degree in psychology. I'm totally OK with spending the night with your pets if needed. My husband can watch our crazy boys and cat :) I used to teach middle school science when I lived in Maryland but now I'm a stay-at-home mom in Illinois! Just let me know when you are needed and I'll make it work! I am a very organized, clean and tidy person. I totally understand how much we love our fur babies and will treat them like I'd treat my own. Again, I'd rather be overly cautious than not enough! Our babies can't voice for themselves so it is important to always advocate for them and do what is in their best interest!

About: I have taken care of family and friends dogs while they are away! I am comfortable with any size, age, breed, etc! I'm so thankful he was willing to pick up a last-minute booking and a fairly difficult one at that. He had to deal with typical puppy destructive chewing, potty accidents, etc but never once had a complaint. He handled everything while I was gone so I could focus on the work I was doing. About: I've taken care of pets from as earliest as birth and into their elderly years, since I was 8. My family would occasionally breed our American Akitas. I've trained them, bathed them, cleaned up after them, and administered medications. They are a ton of work, but always worth the effort when we saw them finally meet their forever homes. I am available for whatever service you need, except for boarding, most days of the week except Thursdays after 2 pm, Fridays, and Saturdays before 2 pm. I am unable to care for your pet at my residence. We have 5 dogs here currently and I wouldn't want to overwhelm your pet with so many new faces. I am more than willing to be as accommodating as needed to care for them in your home, walking them, or simply letting out for a potty break.

About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life and view the human/animal relationship as a special and unique bond that isn’t even broken with death. Aside from having empathy for animals, I have experience training puppies and kittens. I also have taken care of senior dogs and dogs with medical needs. I work in McHenry county M-F and care for animals on the weekends and after work between 4-10pm. There are a lot of nearby parks and areas safe for dog walking by my house. I do not leave dogs alone in a crate when I am not home. Dogs are allowed to sleep on the bed or couch. The max amount of time I would ever leave the dog alone is 4-5 hours. I also do middle of the night potty breaks.
