The two younger ones had never been boarded yet and would not have done well left in our travel trailer for an entire day while we did touristy stuff. I booked Taylor to come to our RV park and stay with the dogs in our travel trailer. It was such a relief to not have to worry about them while we were out or cut our day short to get back to them. She sent pics of them all on walks, or hanging out in the patio and kept me updated how they were doing throughout the day. About: I've grown up with dogs and cats. Growing up, my family had Dalmatians, which probably began my love for large dogs. I currently have two rescue, pitty-mixes. I love the playful energy and am understanding that different dogs have different needs. My dog, Bear, is always getting into something, so I've become pretty good with first-aid! I am a very organized person and have dealt with medications given at particular times. I'd rather be overly cautious than not cautious enough! I have a senior cat that I rescued in 2010. She runs the house and that's ok by me! I love snuggling with dogs and cats alike and giving them all the attention. My education background is a Masters in Secondary Education, with a concentration in Biology, and a bachelor's degree in psychology. I'm totally OK with spending the night with your pets if needed. My husband can watch our crazy boys and cat :) I used to teach middle school science when I lived in Maryland but now I'm a stay-at-home mom in Illinois! About: I live on a small farm in Harvard we have horses , 2 dogs , 1 cat and a flock of chickens . I’m comfortable with all animals !! About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life and view the human/animal relationship as a special and unique bond that isn’t even broken with death. I work in McHenry county M-F and care for animals on the weekends and after work between 4-10pm. There are a lot of nearby parks and areas safe for dog walking by my house. I do not leave dogs alone in a crate when I am not home. Dogs are allowed to sleep on the bed or couch. The max amount of time I would ever leave the dog alone is 4-5 hours. I've trained them, bathed them, cleaned up after them, and administered medications. They are a ton of work, but always worth the effort when we saw them finally meet their forever homes. I am available for whatever service you need, except for boarding, most days of the week except Thursdays after 2 pm, Fridays, and Saturdays before 2 pm. I am unable to care for your pet at my residence. We have 5 dogs here currently and I wouldn't want to overwhelm your pet with so many new faces.
