About: Ive been around dogs since I was born. My extended family has had dogs from huge great pyranees to chihuahuas! I have a lot of experience with senior dogs especially, and know how to be patient and careful with them! I am in college, but other wise I have no other part time job, so your pet will be my priority! They can be apart of my mornings, lunch times, and especially night times! In my own home, my priority is always making sure my cats have enough water to drink at all times, and that they are fed on schedule. And I will always apply the same to your pets. Next, its important for me to know that they feel safe and cared for always. Last, I never want a pet to feel bored, and will always play with them when they want.
About: I’ve had 2 large dogs, 3 cats, and 2 bunnies my whole life! I’m ready and excited for whatever gets thrown at me! I love playing and caring for your pets probably more than they do haha Because I finished my major at Pepperdine i’m looking for things to fill my time while paying my bills, walking, playing, and caring for your animals brings joy to me I have a pretty flexible schedule with school so we can work together to figure out a plan that will work for both of us!
“Debora was excellent, friendly, and accommodated me under short time constraints (and great stress for me) when another pre-booked Rover sitter became unresponsive. So glad I found her! Great communication with updates and photos out me at ease when I was traveling! A+++”

About: Premium care for premium pups! -Please do not reach out to us unless your profile is completed in its’ entirety and that your dog’s information page is complete with photos, details on demeanor/temperament and their vet information. Read through our entire profile before reaching out as all of our details and prices will be outlined here.- Ferdelle and David recently moved from the heart of Downtown Napa with our two dogs Bruce Wayne and Anderson Pooper to Point Dume in Malibu. If you’re in need of a last minute walk, our schedules are really great for accommodating your schedule. Our dog care involves lots of love, keeping your dog safe and on top of their training and fun socializing with our friendly dog-children (if we are lucky enough to dog sit for you!) If you’re here visiting our beautiful area and have plans that can’t include your doggies, bring them to us and we will take care of them while you have a fantastic time out. Again, our schedules are happy to accommodate you and your plans. Our two dogs: Anderson Pooper (Labradoodle Bichon rescue) and Bruce Wayne (mini schnauzer). Our dogs are friendly and we are adamant on their training and good behavior. Anderson Pooper who is sweet and docile and is more like a cat than anything. He was a stray in Van Nuys and we adopted him in May 2018 and we love him so much. I spent a lot of time training him when we first got him, so thanks for Cesar Milan i’ve got the whole dog behavior and dog training thing under my belt. Pooper learned how to shake paw in under 10 minutes! My husband is in real estate and I am a writer, audiobook narrator, and actor. We both absolutely love animals and would love to take care of yours! I narrate audiobooks from my home studio. I write and when i’m not directing (most recently a play in Santa Monica) or at rehearsals. I am home, at pilates, PT, the beach or doing self-care. I work remotely and am home most, if not all, of the day. David and I take turns as our dogs are never home alone for more than several hours at a time. We watch our dogs closely. We treat all animals like they are our own and are family: safety, kindness and with lots of love. Training is important but our two year old puppy, who is a Mini Schnauzer, likes to bark to tell everyone hello and that he exists — so don’t be alarmed if he startles you, he is learning how to use his voice. He’s just eager and loving and was raised in a pandemic so he’s, ahem, socially awkward but totally sweet. Info on Doggy Day Care: We accept non-shedding, hypoallergenic dogs only up to 25 lbs. They must be house broken, get along with other smaller dogs, no history of aggression, no anxiety. Our day rate is $150 with a $15 additional per hour after an 8 hour mark. We are very flexible seeing as people like to enjoy their time in Malibu and we are fine to accommodate that, it’s a pleasure for us to have another dog in our home (I would love a third dog but David says 2 is enough. Ha. So this allows for the best of both worlds.) Remember to bring anything your dog might need to feel at home: a crate or bed, their favorite treats, their leash, harness and poop bags, and their bowls and meals. We have a doggy water fountain here and several water dispensers in different rooms of our house, so don’t worry about water. Your pup is safe with us.

“Kayla dropped in for two days- four visits, at my home to watch my doggie while I was away. I felt complete trust and confidence in Kayla when I met her. She took loving care of my Labrador and followed the instructions I left perfectly. She updated me on all details , took amazing pics of my dog and made sure she was happy and safe on her walks and when they returned. I’m so glad we found Kayla to take care of our lab while we were away ! I hope she is able to return for future drop-in’s. I highly recommend her !”

“Such a great experience. I knew reading the bio I wanted to book Belle. She was prompt, efficient, and communication was seamless from start to finish. Everything felt easy and handled with care. I really appreciated how smooth the whole process was and my dogs were happy and well cared for. Would absolutely book again.”

About: I was brought up in New York and started sitting and walking dogs at a very young age. Ever since I have had and taken care of all sorts of animals. For me they are no differnet than my children (I have 4 sons) I am a vegan since 10 years and will do everything in my power to protect animals. I am totally available any time. I walk, go to yoga and work out. Other than that I writing a book so I am writing a book so ai am usually home. My townhouse is bright, spacious and serene and I live with my 17 yr old son. Just outside my door there is an abundance of grass and trails that we can take walks on. I go to the beach everyday and usually walk the dogs at least once on one of my long walks.
About: The last two dogs I had were the best pets I've ever had, one in particular I took everywhere, hiking, running, swimming and even to play basketball. I even took her halfway up Mt. Diablo one time. I feel like every dog owner should expose their dogs to many outside environments, something other than there backyard or house. The only regrets I have about my past ownership is not taking my dogs out everyday. As an owner I believe that dogs should be treated more than just a convenient stress reliever. Dogs can be your closest friend so they ought to be cared for and treated like a great one. What I bring to the table is a genuine love for all dogs and an understanding of their needs. I can be fairly flexible on weekdays for visits and walks, but am mostly available only in the afternoon. Weekends, I am pretty much always available. House sits I can do any day of the week. To start off, I always start off by caring for the pet as outlined by the owner (routines, feeding schedules, medications, things to avoid, walks). But in addition to that, I like to have some fun with the dogs that I sit. I will play with them a bit and in general just hang out with them.
About: I love all kinds of animals and have had experience handling all kinds of them from iguanas to Maine coone cats. I’ve had experience caring for Pomeranians, miniature pinschers, and more. I am great at making animals feel safe and comfortable. I work part time but I manage my own schedule so I can most likely work around your schedule as long as you let me know in advance when you’d like me to care for your pet! I prefer to watch pets in my clients home or take them for walks around their neighborhood as this is likely where your pet will feel safest. Instructions specific to your pet are encouraged.
About: I have experience dog sitting and handling dogs of all ages and sizes! Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
