“Diesel had a wonderful time with Karina and her lovely doggo. It was nice to know that he had a friend and family around him to keep him company. Karina sent regular photos and videos. Karina is great and we’ll definitely use her again. 🐶 🤗”

“Rochelle was fantastic!! We entrusted Aspen with her during our wedding and she was awesome to work with. We felt that she was super responsive and very experienced with dogs. Sent us lots of cute photos and updates. She is also just a lovely human and even gifted us a bottle of wine to celebrate our special day :) Would highly recommend and will be booking with her again!”

“Very attentive, and gave great updates and feedback throughout stay. Felt very safe and reassured that my pup was taken care of while away. Would recommend to anyone!”

About: As a pet owner I know the pain of trying to find someone who will care for your beloved pet the way you would while away. I know how hard it can be to find care for pets with regular exercise needs. I am not a professional kennel or dog training. I am a dog mom who will love your pets like they are my own and ensure they have all their needs taken care of while they are in my home. I’ve been around pets for most of my life. My family had pets growing up, and as an adult I’ve pet sit for family and friends for over 20 years. I finally became a pet parent myself in 2022 to a mixed breed cattle dog named Teddy Bear. It was love at first sight, despite our rough start due to issues from him being labeled as a lab mix. I’ve learned from experience that breed matters when it comes to ensuring your dog’s physical as well as emotional needs are properly met. We delt with behavior issues, as well as anxiety, and food issues as Teddy moved through his “teens”. I hired a private trainer only weeks after adopting Teddy, and to this day we still participate in a variety of group training classes through most of the year. Teddy is excellent at Nose work/Scent work and loves the mental stimulation. These training lessons have taught me a lot about patience when working with dogs as well as how to work with dogs on their own level and through their style of communication. Teddy passed the Canine Good Citizen Test at only 9 months old! My motto is you are always training. I use the skills learned in the years of lessons whenever I am around dogs and it’s made me quite popular at the dog parks. My dog goes to hunt bunnies, and I go to pet all the dogs that seem naturally to be drawn to me. I only accept the dogs from 1 home at a time. Your pets will be a part of my family as long as they are under my roof. My life revolves around my dog. Teddy is a fairly high energy dog and this means lots of physical and mental stimulation is required. So we walk everyday rain, shine, or even snow! Unless the weather isn’t safe to be outside, we walk. If your dog isn’t as high energy, that is ok. We typically go places your dog can rest and enjoy the smells while Teddy gets his energy out. I have a hybrid work schedule and generally am in the office Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 12-5pm. My schedule is flexible though so if I know I have to be gone in the evening, I change up my days in the office so I can be home with my dog during the day. I feed the dogs 2x per day. Once in the morning and once in the evening. I have a large fully fenced backyard, and a dog door so the pups can freely roam between inside and out. It’s a bit of a dogs paradise with lots of birds and squirrels roaming about for them to keep tabs on. I do have a medium-large sized crate for dogs that need to be crated. And feed everyone in separate spaces. The couch under my living room window is now permanently the “dogs couch”. Teddy is very good at sharing his toys and beds. There is an overabundance of dog beds throughout my house. My house used to be clean, but then I got a dog. The house now belongs to Teddy and I just live here among his beds and toys. Teddy is great with dogs of all sizes and most temperaments. I describe him as aloof but friendly. He can be playful in spirts if other dogs initiate, and while he loves being around other dogs, is very independent. The only exceptions to his easy-going persona are aggressive dogs, or dogs that have a higher than usual tendency to resource guard. For this reason I cannot except non neutered males as pretty much every instance of aggression we have come across was with a non neutered male. Regardless of size. My neighbors on 2 sides do have dogs as well. So your dogs would meet them through the fence. We have 4 legged friends over on a regular basis, and the neighbor dogs generally love greeting the new friends so long as they are not aggressive. I do allow dogs on my bed as long as I'm not sleeping. My experience has been dogs tend to lay exactly where my legs need to be. So, I usually kick them off just before turning off the lights to allow myself use of my own bed. But if your dog is happy to stay on the other side of the bed without trying to take over my side, they can stay.
“Kaitlin was a fantastic sitter for our little Shih Tzu! She took our baby for walks and gave her lots of cuddles and love. We knew our girl was in great hands with Kaitlin and will definitely use Kaitlin again.”

“Karen is the best! She loves and takes care of my dogs as if they were hers. I have older dogs, so I appreciate the extra care she takes with them. They come home happy after each visit.”

“Michelle was absolutely wonderful with Pepper! 🐾 From the start, we felt so comfortable leaving her in Michelle & Brian's care. Pepper clearly had the best time, and that says everything. Michelle, Brian, and their sweet dog Aerie truly went above and beyond to make Pepper feel safe, happy, and included. We could tell she was well cared for and loved while we were away. Michelle kept us updated with photos and commentary the whole time. It was awesome! We would absolutely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for thoughtful, attentive pet care!”

“Qiaohui was wonderful with our pup and made her feel just like at home. She catered to all her needs and indulgences she was used to and sent us daily photos and lovely videos. Knowing that she was well looked after made our trip more enjoyable. I know she can’t wait to stay with Qiaohui again.”

“Qintian did an amazing job taking care of our 8 month old puppy. We received lots of videos of him with a big smile on his face having a great time. Our dogs also got along great, so we were happy knowing he had a friend to play with. Highly recommend!”

“We had such a great experience. I needed to book at the last minute when something unexpected came up, and Fiona took such great care of Mochi for two days. Our schedule was a little tricky with a late drop-off and pick-up, and I was even running behind, but she was incredibly flexible and understanding. I really appreciated how accommodating she was. Fiona’s kids were also so sweet with Mochi, and I’m so thankful for all the love they gave her. It really sounds like Mochi had a wonderful time, and I would definitely book with them again.”

“We’re so happy that Amy & Shelby took our tiny Otto in over spring break. He seemed to have so much fun with their adorable doggies and their kids were great pals to him too. I strongly recommend them. They are a very nice couple with a fun and sweet family.”

“Sunmee, Patrick and their son took great care of little Oscar like one of their own. I really appreciated the photos and videos multiple times a day. They have a great house with large backyard for Oscar to run around with their dog, Winter. Thank you!”

“My 14 year old corgi needed something a little more calm and quiet than the boarding kennel and this was the perfect fit. She is still very physically active and likes a good walk and some playtime but was able to spend the better part of her days comfortably snoozing and watching over people while they worked. She doesnt handle stairs very well anymore and hates being carried so i was happy this apartment had an elevator and ramps.”

Ella loved staying with Matthew and his partner! She normally gets stressed in new environments - but she came back happy and like she had a great time. I really appreciate that they only take 1 dog at a time, have a fenced yard and were communicative with regular photos and updates every day. Would definitely re-book for our future trips

Natalia was so great at taking care of Tofu while we were out of town!! She was communicative and sent a toooon of pictures, I had no doubt that his stay was going well, and it was so nice to see that she spent a lot of time just playing with him and giving him attention. She was so kind and professional, I’d definitely book her again!

Kellie over delivered on every level and I’m so lucky to have found her. Her positive energy, attention to detail regarding routine and instructions, and genuine love towards our dog was amazing. She was so communicative before, during, and after her stay I never had to wonder how things were going and if she and our pup were doing ok. On top of that, the house was spotless when we came home which made coming back to our pup even better. She’s such a wonderful and caring person and we will absolutely reach out to her right away next time we need dog care. Thank you Kellie for being exceptional!

This was the first time we’ve used Rover. Jiyeon was super attentive, responsive, and gave daily updates on our pup. I am very pleased with the attention to detail and thoughtful consideration Jiyeon gave when it came to looking after our pup and updating us while away. As this is my first time boarding our pup, I forgot some items. Jiyeon was there to save the day and gladly stepped in to make sure our pup didn’t go without. We have already booked a future date with Jiyeon and are comforted our pup will be left in good hands.
