“Karina was very nice and communicative….. she took really good care of my Oreo, he came home very happy. I Would highly recommend her to care for your dog.”

“My puppy girl is only 1.5 years old and had a blast with Masumi and her family!!! I got plenty of videos and pictures of her on walks and playing and having a great stay. My girl is very picky (poodle) and was having some stomach issues while she was at Masumi’s, and Masumi gave her rice and chicken to eat for a few days and even dropped off a fecal sample to our vet. We really recommend her to anyone!! Can’t say enough good things about Masumi!!”

“We had an amazing experience! She was incredibly kind, communicative, and attentive from start to finish. We received lots of photo and video updates, and it was obvious Dollar was happy, relaxed, and getting tons of love and attention. He came home calm and well cared for, which means everything to us. We would absolutely book again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving sitter. Thank you for taking such great care of Dollar! ❤️”

About: As a pet owner I know the pain of trying to find someone who will care for your beloved pet the way you would while away. I know how hard it can be to find care for pets with regular exercise needs. I am not a professional kennel or dog training. I am a dog mom who will love your pets like they are my own and ensure they have all their needs taken care of while they are in my home. I’ve been around pets for most of my life. My family had pets growing up, and as an adult I’ve pet sit for family and friends for over 20 years. I finally became a pet parent myself in 2022 to a mixed breed cattle dog named Teddy Bear. It was love at first sight, despite our rough start due to issues from him being labeled as a lab mix. I’ve learned from experience that breed matters when it comes to ensuring your dog’s physical as well as emotional needs are properly met. We delt with behavior issues, as well as anxiety, and food issues as Teddy moved through his “teens”. I hired a private trainer only weeks after adopting Teddy, and to this day we still participate in a variety of group training classes through most of the year. Teddy is excellent at Nose work/Scent work and loves the mental stimulation. These training lessons have taught me a lot about patience when working with dogs as well as how to work with dogs on their own level and through their style of communication. Teddy passed the Canine Good Citizen Test at only 9 months old! My motto is you are always training. I use the skills learned in the years of lessons whenever I am around dogs and it’s made me quite popular at the dog parks. My dog goes to hunt bunnies, and I go to pet all the dogs that seem naturally to be drawn to me. I only accept the dogs from 1 home at a time. Your pets will be a part of my family as long as they are under my roof. My life revolves around my dog. Teddy is a fairly high energy dog and this means lots of physical and mental stimulation is required. So we walk everyday rain, shine, or even snow! Unless the weather isn’t safe to be outside, we walk. If your dog isn’t as high energy, that is ok. We typically go places your dog can rest and enjoy the smells while Teddy gets his energy out. I have a hybrid work schedule and generally am in the office Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 12-5pm. My schedule is flexible though so if I know I have to be gone in the evening, I change up my days in the office so I can be home with my dog during the day. I feed the dogs 2x per day. Once in the morning and once in the evening. I have a large fully fenced backyard, and a dog door so the pups can freely roam between inside and out. It’s a bit of a dogs paradise with lots of birds and squirrels roaming about for them to keep tabs on. I do have a medium-large sized crate for dogs that need to be crated. And feed everyone in separate spaces. The couch under my living room window is now permanently the “dogs couch”. Teddy is very good at sharing his toys and beds. There is an overabundance of dog beds throughout my house. My house used to be clean, but then I got a dog. The house now belongs to Teddy and I just live here among his beds and toys. Teddy is great with dogs of all sizes and most temperaments. I describe him as aloof but friendly. He can be playful in spirts if other dogs initiate, and while he loves being around other dogs, is very independent. The only exceptions to his easy-going persona are aggressive dogs, or dogs that have a higher than usual tendency to resource guard. For this reason I cannot except non neutered males as pretty much every instance of aggression we have come across was with a non neutered male. Regardless of size. My neighbors on 2 sides do have dogs as well. So your dogs would meet them through the fence. We have 4 legged friends over on a regular basis, and the neighbor dogs generally love greeting the new friends so long as they are not aggressive. I do allow dogs on my bed as long as I'm not sleeping. My experience has been dogs tend to lay exactly where my legs need to be. So, I usually kick them off just before turning off the lights to allow myself use of my own bed. But if your dog is happy to stay on the other side of the bed without trying to take over my side, they can stay.
“Candra was amazing! She did a wonderful job with our pup…he was well taken care of and we didn’t worry at all. Very excited to have finally found a forever sitter for our puppy.”

“Our 12 year old dog Gwennie enjoyed her one day boarding trial at Jiyeon's place. Jiyeon and her husband took very good care of her. Gwen will come back for a long stay next month.”

“Fiona was so loving toward my Coco and cared for him like her own. Coco felt safe with her right away and there was miraculously no separation anxiety at drop off! I received adequate communication on my trip and was thrilled to pick up a very happy and clean pup at the end of a whole week. Thank you Fiona!”

“We can’t thank you enough for the wonderful care you gave to our 4 year old lab, Reka! We had never left him with anyone other than family but it worked out perfectly to stay with Qiaohui and Saurabh! The love and care you gave to him made it so much easier on us to be away from him!! Brie and Oreo are so sweet. From all of the photos and videos that you sent us we could see that Reka and Oreo had such fun together every day! We loved seeing him play and be a happy puppy! Thank you so very much for all that you did to make our dog feel well cared for and happy! We will definitely book a stay for Reka again!”

“This was our first experience with Rover.com and with Mary as a dog boarder. She impressed us with her confidence as a dog trainer, and our Frenchie puppy, Bugs, came home with much better manners than when we dropped him off. Mary instantly replied to questions via text and sent daily pictures and updates, which allowed us to rest easy and enjoy our travels without worrying about Bugs. Mary loves to walk, so we were grateful for the daily walks Bugs got in her care. We will happily board Bugs with Mary for our next trip.”

“I would 100% recommend Michelle and Brian. I am a person who never wants to leave my dog with anyone, and if I have to, I worry the entire the time. Newton stayed with Michelle and Brian for over two weeks and they took such great care of him. He became best friends with their adorable dog Ari and played with other little dogs they watch (Theo!) Michelle & Brian were amazing with communication, sending me photos and updates every day. It is clear that they love dogs and, from now on, I will always have them watch Newton. :)”

“Shauna was wonderful with Sabrina...Shauna’s dog Finn played with Sabrina every day after Sabrina warmed up to them. Shauna and Tim gave Sabrina her space until she could acclimate to her new environment.which didn’t take Sabrina that long ?. Sabrina and I are very happy with her visit with Shauna and Tim and their fur babies...thanks again Shauna!”

“My dog cooper loves to Stay at Amy and Shelby's house. He loves playing with their dog, Kona. Every time I mention Kona's name, Cooper gives me a hug and runs for the door ready to go there. My dog does better staying with other dogs and I am grateful to have Amy!”

“Finding sitters who truly care about your dog is tough, but Kelly and Karen exceeded all expectations. Tony is usually a bit anxious, but Kelly makes him feel better. Their communication was excellent, and gave me update(pic/vidoes)about Tony during i was on my vacation. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of my boy…”

“Robin and her family took such great care of Pika while I was on vacation! She was very responsive and sent lots of photos throughout the week. I’d highly recommend Robin and I’ll definitely be using her services again!”

“Li is amazing with my two boys! She sends lots of pictures and I know my dogs are in such good hands. I have used her three times and she is fabulous. I highly recommend her!”

Stephanie and her family took incredible care of Hazel as always! This was the longest amount of time she has spent with them, and she came home as happy as ever. Stephanie is so flexible and quick to reply, which I greatly appreciate. We will absolutely continue asking her to watch Hazel in the future!

Ronak did a great job watching and taking care of our dog Marv. We had plans fall through and he was able to watch him last minute no problem. He sent pictures and updates often and always responded quickly. We were able to enjoy our trip worry free knowing Marv was in good hands! We will definitely reach out to Ronak again in the future.

Justin was absolutely wonderful with Charlie! This was our very first time leaving Charlie with a pet sitter, so naturally we were a little nervous, but Justin made the entire experience stress-free and reassuring. Him and his family is delightful! He provided frequent updates, lots of pictures, and maintained excellent communication throughout Charlie’s stay. It was clear that Charlie was well cared for, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention. The regular check-ins gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Justin went above and beyond to make sure both Charlie and we felt comfortable, and we truly appreciated his reliability and kindness. We would not hesitate to book with him again and will definitely be reaching out for any future pet-sitting needs. Thank you, Justin, for taking such great care of Charlie! 🐾😊

Ben is a fantastic person to look after our Hobi. He and his family members are so nice to look after him. Always share photos about how Hobi is doing. Such a relief to knowing our Hobi is in good hands. They took care of him as a family member. "Jess is a lifesaver! She did drop-in visits for our two cats while we were out of town. She was dependable, followed all of our feeding instructions, and even spent time playing with them. It was such a relief knowing our pets were in great hands. We’ll definitely be reaching out to Ben before our next trip!
Ella loved staying with Matthew and his partner! She normally gets stressed in new environments - but she came back happy and like she had a great time. I really appreciate that they only take 1 dog at a time, have a fenced yard and were communicative with regular photos and updates every day. Would definitely re-book for our future trips

Natalia was so great at taking care of Tofu while we were out of town!! She was communicative and sent a toooon of pictures, I had no doubt that his stay was going well, and it was so nice to see that she spent a lot of time just playing with him and giving him attention. She was so kind and professional, I’d definitely book her again!

Kellie over delivered on every level and I’m so lucky to have found her. Her positive energy, attention to detail regarding routine and instructions, and genuine love towards our dog was amazing. She was so communicative before, during, and after her stay I never had to wonder how things were going and if she and our pup were doing ok. On top of that, the house was spotless when we came home which made coming back to our pup even better. She’s such a wonderful and caring person and we will absolutely reach out to her right away next time we need dog care. Thank you Kellie for being exceptional!
