Tucker takes oral and injectable medications and I am never worried when she stays with him. I know he is in the best hands.”

About: Dogs are my great addiction. I've owned dogs and walked and trained them all my life, but until I settle into my next job, I can't have a dog of my own again, so I'm petsitting and walking dogs for extra “dog time.” I have trained dogs for decades and now I also walk dogs at the Santa Fe Animal Shelter. in the past, I assisted a vets, once in the mobile spay/neuter clinic in the Navajo Nation, and in a few other instances with wildlife rehab and injured animals. I kept all my own dogs into old age and love senior dogs. With my family I raised 2 litters of Shepherd puppies, and Ive fostered mothers and puppies at my home. I work part-time and online, and can fit my schedule around your dog, cat or housesitting needs. I'm an early riser and love to be outdoors in any weather so you never have to worry that your pet's schedule will be interrupted. Your home is as important to me as your animal family and both will receive loving care and attention from me. I've cared for many homes in New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado and have excellent references from clients, neighbors and friends to share.

Please feel free to reach out to me anytime! I am dedicated to the meticulous needs your pet may need whether that be medication, water, attention, exercise, special dietary needs, treats, pup cups, etc. Whatever the case may be your pet is special and I’m committed to whatever they might need.

“Josh provided excellent care to our three dogs! He was diligent, communicative, and unphased by the particular challenges posed by our pups: a senior blind & incontinent dog, a dog requiring twice-a-day oral medications, and our XL breed pups. Josh was keen on asking detailed questions when he needed more info on each dog's care & personality. He was also kind enough to water our plants and did a thorough clean of the house prior to our return. His daily photo updates were deeply appreciated. We are exceedingly grateful for his excellent care! More than a kind and caring person, he is a consummate professional.”

About: Ive taken care of dogs since I was 10. I’m a big dog lover and I’ve had three of my own at home and miss them dearly. I love to go on long walks or just play and chill. I’m a student but I’m basically free all week besides when I have class! I can also just hang out with your dog while I do homework. I have a front yard and a great space for taking dogs on a walk. I also have a room that fits a crate if that’s preferable!

“Lis was a godsend for us. She's watched our babies three times now. We found her a week before we were heading out of town. We had just moved from AZ to NM and we didn't want to leave our animals in a strange home while we were away. Lis jumped at the chance to watch our 4 animals (2 cats and 2 dogs) and not to mention in a home that was filled with boxes and only an air mattress for her to use while she stayed overnight with our fur babies. But our first experiences with Lis don't speak volumes about the help she provided us when we had an emergency situation. With no notice, we needed Lis to stay with our animals for a couple of days. She immediately made room in her busy schedule to help us. If you're looking for a phenomenal, trustworthy pet sitter who truly treats your pets like they are hers - Lis is your perfect find. Thank you for everything you've done for us, Lis! I truly cannot begin to express how grateful I am for you.”

About: Working at Chicago Dog Runner 24 years ago started my journey towards providing the most exceptional pet care. Since moving out of the city, I’ve expanded my sitting to include chickens, donkeys, ducks, and more! I’ve had lots of puppy and senior dog/cat experience as well. Also, I joined Therapaws Michigan almost 10 years ago, helping board and train therapy animals and it has been the absolute best experience. Being an EMT, I understand the importance of timely medication administration and can give injections as well as oral/topical medications. I take pride in communication and photo ops! Having special needs animals in my life, I take care in educating myself with pets behavioral and health concerns and am always open to any conversation and adjustments regarding your pet’s care. Working from home I have a very flexible schedule and can follow your pet routine as required. I’m able to adapt and change scheduling as needed. I have a reliable pet friendly vehicle with a ramp for senior pup access. I believe keeping your pet’s schedule consistent is important and helps keep them comfortable and happy while you’re away. Please share details about feeding and/or walking/potty times, I am happy to accommodate.

“We have a pair of rescued female cattle dogs with mysterious pasts. They have problems. Jess was unphased by these problems and took care of our special needs dogs with professionalism and courtesy. We will be booking her again.”

Karen-Joyce G.
“I’m currently on my 19th house/petsit of this year. If I have any question at all about a dog I’m currently caring for I call Karen-Joyce. She’s got years of experience not only as an owner but as a trainer, walker, sitter, vet’s assistant and volunteer at the local humane society. When owners leave their pets in the care of others they want them not only to be fed and walked and played with, they want them to be loved. No one I know loves dogs (and all animals, really) more than Karen-Joyce. She is passionate. The fact that she will go to the local humane society to walk dogs when she has the time is that passion manifested. Who does that? Someone who absolutely loves dogs. If it’s important to you that your dog is LOVED while you’re away, this is your gal!”

James N.
“James is a good worker and good with animals. He has a dog himself that he walks and takes Great care of. He also has a cat that he loves. He is trustworthy and honest. I think you’ll be a great pet sitter.”

“Robert did an excellent job taking care for the most important member of this household. He also left the house in perfect condition. Would I use him again? Definitely!”

Jerrett S.
“For 2 years, we trusted Jerrett to watch our beloved dog, Otis. Along with being incredibly responsible and timely, Jerrett created a bond with Otis that made him wag his stubby tail every time he saw him! On longer trips, we received picture updates and daily texts about how he was doing. Being able to leave our dog at home with Jerrett made our dog's life less stressful, as he was able to stay in his own yard and sleep in his own house & bed. We have a new dog now, and have yet to leave her, but when we do, we'll hire Jerrett.”
