“Jess and her daughter were awesome and our doggo had such a great time with them and their doggo!! Definitely if we're out in Los Alamos again would use them! Definitely recommended them to our family who lives out here!!”

“Gavin did a great job with our dog Juneau. We got some nice pics every day to see how Juneau was doing there. It was a calm, home setting for dog stays with a safe fenced in area as well. Will be back in the future.”

“Our dog, Ailyn, had a great time with Jessica and her animals. Ailyn was fascinated with the cats and between them and Clara she had a blast and played hard during her stay.”

“Katie was fantastic. Marlo settled in immediately at her house and enjoyed the company of other dogs. Katie was communicative and informed me of Marlo’s daily experiences. We’ll be back to Katie’s when we visit Santa Fe!”

“Augie’s stay with Angel was just great. He had never boarded before, so we were a little anxious. But Angel went out of her way to keep him comfortable and entertained, even during a thunderstorm!”

“Sadie had a great time staying with Melinda and her dog, Max. Since it was Sadie’s first visit, Melinda texted frequently to reassure me that all was going well. Actually, I think Sadie was sad to leave and missed her new friend. I recommend highly! C”

About: I’ve cared for animals since I was seven years old and have hands-on experience with pets of all ages and needs. Since age ten, I’ve fostered neonatal kittens requiring around-the-clock feeding, monitoring, and care. I also have experience house sitting for family friends, often staying over a week at a time to care for their pets, maintain routines, and ensure their homes and animals are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’m a high school student, and my classes run from 8:30 AM to 2:40 PM on weekdays. Outside of school hours, I’m fully available for pet care, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnight stays. I’m able to provide attentive care before and after school and follow pets’ routines closely. Pets are not left alone for long periods during the weekends. On school days, they may be alone during my class hours, but I provide care before and immediately after school. I make sure pets get attention, exercise, feeding, and companionship throughout the day and evening.
“I left my cats with Elthea and Joshua so i could go on a short vacation with my family. I expressed my concern about them never being around anyone else other than me and she sent me pictures of them multiple times to reassure me. They are great!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals all my life! My mom at one point had 17 cats and 3 dogs. I learned from a very early age how to care for them, and make them feel safe and loved! Rover did not let me use my phone number so my account is connected to my boyfriends, so when you do book with me I’ll send you my number :) thank you! I’m currently a stay at home mommy of 2 kids. I’m home everyday of the week while their dad works so I’m free to take care of your animal any day of the week and anytime! I make sure all pets that come to our home feel welcomed and safe! We don’t have a yard since we do live in an apartment but I’d love taking them for a walk to the park at our apartments and around our complex ! I love to reward animals for good behavior with treats (if the owner is ok with that!) :))

“Marissa was an excellent petsitter for our cat and dog! It was our first time boarding and we were nervous and Marissa answered all of our questions and made us feel very at ease. We also appreciated the photo updates. Highly recommend!”

“Heidi is a gem! She took care of our pup for 4 days on ridiculously short notice and Immediately put us all at ease with her confidence and graciousness. Heidi's dog is a delightful plus. We felt so reassured during our time away knowing that Sully was in such capable hands. Thank you, Heidi! This is the start of a beautiful friendship.”

“Brooke was phenomenal. I feel lucky to have found her and think she's an absolute gem on this app. I will definitely be using her again to take care of Luna, would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter! It was a huge relief to know that Luna was being so well attended to. She seemed really happy and like she settled in with Brooke right away and Brooke's communication was amazing. I received lots of updates and photos.”

“Athena and Jordan, Thank you so much for taking such good care of Harlee! She came home happy and she’s says Thank you too. ! We will definitely keep you in mind for the next time we need a dog sitter!”

“Patricia was a great dog sitter for our Gracie. Gracie was well cared for and had a blast playing with Patricia’s dogs Gila and Cedar. Gracie came back to us happy, content and tired! We could tell she had a lot of fun and attention. Patricia has a big yard and good dog sense and I wouldn’t hesitate to board Gracie there again.”

“Tara took amazing care of Wrangler! He had so much fun and didn’t want to come home. She took him hiking every day, sent lots of pics, and clearly took great care of Wrangler. We’ll definitely give Tara a call next time were in Santa Fe!”

Los Alamos dog parents share their Rover experiences
Susan was recommended to us by one of our coworkers. We had a trip and were uncomfortable with sending our dog to a dog hotel. He gets anxious in those environments. Our dog, Finn got along with her dog, Annie and he loved it! We received updates and photos everyday and were able to be at ease during our trip. We’re so glad we booked with Susan, highly recommend!
