About: I've owned and taken care of dogs since I was 12. Ive helped friends potty train and crate train puppies. I cared for my senior dog for many years before he passed in 2024. Ive fostered animals through animal shelters as well as helped rehome friends and family pets when needed. Ive taken care of friends pets as well as family. If you have any further questions please dont hesitate to ask! (: I am a stay at home mom. We wake up early and I usually stay up late tidying and taking care of our other pets. We only leave for short periods during the day. Your pet and my children will not be left alone at anytime. I have a large fenced back yard. I also have a friendly medium sized dog named Halo who would love to keep your companion company. I can crate over night or during breaks as long as you bring an appropriate sized kennel for them. I may have one on hand if it is a weekly appointment.

They offer 100% dog sense, a yard that our border collie, Olli, could run around in and enjoy, and friends for Olli - Gila and Amber - two lovely dogs. Olli was taken for a run and allowed to sleep where he wanted. (important to us because he roams at night) Their home is calm and relaxed and dog friendly! Worth the trip from Santa Fe to their home near Pojoaque.”

Our new puppy Monty chewed on a few things that he SHOULD NOT have and Melinda was extremely gracious about it. We will of course be compensating her for the damage. Briar was amazing with my 2 dogs Olive and Cosmo. I received regular updates and photos and both dogs seemed to really enjoy their stay. She took them for lots of walks and even playtime in the water! Olive tends to be a bit anxious and takes time to warmup and after a day she was glued to Briars side. I felt much better being away from them knowing they were safe with someone who really wanted them to enjoy their time. I would highly recommend Briar for your pup care needs!
