Ive fostered animals through animal shelters as well as helped rehome friends and family pets when needed. Ive taken care of friends pets as well as family. FYI, I don’t introduce my pack to other dogs that we don’t know, to avoid any unwanted drama and to keep everyone safe. New dogs really shouldn’t be introduced while on leashes anyway. About: I grew up overseas in a family that seemed to always have at least four dogs at home. My first dog (that truly felt like my own) was Lapsi, a beautiful crossbreed, that followed us home one day and never left. She went on to live with us for 16 years, giving birth to several generations of pups that we took care of and distributed across the Valley into caring family homes. In The States my first dog was not actually mine, but my freshman roommate's chestnut lab that he brought from home and that we both took care of - and now, full circle, my current roommates have 3 dogs! About: I've had dogs and taken care of them since I was a young child. As an adult I’ve fostered dogs for over 5 years, taking care of all types of dogs. I have experience potty training, house breaking, bathing, and more. The dogs I have fostered came from all sorts of backgrounds; homeless, abusive households, neglected, seniors, disabled (blind, deaf, hard of hearing, missing limbs).
