“Amanda was great. She is very friendly it is easy to see she is a dog lover. Amanda was very accommodating with my family emergency and my pups were looked after well. I will definitely look to her first next time.”

“Dawn was fantastic. Took care of our little dog with some medical issues no problem. He was anxious at first, but by night two he was settled and happy. No anxiety and was super happy when we picked him up. Will definitely use her in the future.”

“I left my cats with Elthea and Joshua so i could go on a short vacation with my family. I expressed my concern about them never being around anyone else other than me and she sent me pictures of them multiple times to reassure me. They are great!”

“Kendell was a great sitter for my dog Midnight. She was helpful in scheduling the time. She provided great care with regular walks. For the time away she sent me regular notes and pictures of my dog.”

“Calista and her roommates were amazing! They loved having my pups! With her professional expertise in animal care I felt very safe leaving them with her. She kept me updated everyday and whenever I asked with pics and videos! I can’t thank them enough! Highly recommended 100%”

“Stephanie was wonderful for our first time using Rover! She was incredibly communicative and sent plenty of photos and updates during the four hours our dog, Fredo, was with her. Fredo has significant vision and hearing deficits along with high anxiety, and Stephanie was so patient in trying to navigate his unique needs. While the environment ultimately wasn’t the right fit for Fredo’s specific anxiety, I could tell he was in caring hands. I highly recommend Stephanie to anyone in the Santa Fe area looking for an attentive, responsive, and kind sitter!”

“Katie was fantastic. Marlo settled in immediately at her house and enjoyed the company of other dogs. Katie was communicative and informed me of Marlo’s daily experiences. We’ll be back to Katie’s when we visit Santa Fe!”

“Patricia, her husband Sam are ideal dog sitters. They offer 100% dog sense, a yard that our border collie, Olli, could run around in and enjoy, and friends for Olli - Gila and Amber - two lovely dogs. Olli was taken for a run and allowed to sleep where he wanted. (important to us because he roams at night) Their home is calm and relaxed and dog friendly! Worth the trip from Santa Fe to their home near Pojoaque.”

“Izzy was so happy and had a great time. She met other dogs and played a lot. Angel sent us lots of photos which made us feel very relaxed. We felt she was in excellent hands so we could enjoy our trip so much more relieved.”

About: I offer thoughtful, detail oriented pet care with a strong focus on consistency, safety, and communication. I’m comfortable caring for senior pets, managing routines, and providing a calm presence for animals that may be anxious or sensitive to change. I am also comfortable with medication management. I take the responsibility of being in someone’s home seriously and aim to create a seamless experience both for pets and their owners. You can expect clear communication, reliability, and a high level of respect for your space. My dog, Tessie, is so important to me so I treat your pets with as much love and care that I would want her to have. My work experience includes firefighter/paramedic, ER nurse, clinic work, and am certified in Pet First Aid. I am the Clinical Director at a local free clinic. This allows me to have flexible but predictable hours each week. Because of this I can provide consistent, punctual visits with compassionate care for your pets. For house sitting I can make mid day visits so that your pets are not alone for longer than needed. I cater each experience to the needs of you and your pet. I prefer to have clear communication of your preferences so that I can ensure that you are as happy with the visit as your pets are. For house sitting, I stay in the home so pets can remain in their familiar space with minimal disruption. I follow their usual feeding, walking, and medication schedules, provide companionship throughout the day and evening, and ensure the home is cared for as well (lights, plants, mail, basic tidiness). My goal is to maintain a calm, consistent presence so pets feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away. For in home drop-ins, I provide feeding, fresh water, litter box or yard clean up, medications if needed, and quality time with each pet. I tailor each visit to the pet’s energy level and personality including playtime, short walks, or quiet companionship. I also provide updates after each visit so owners feel connected and reassured. For dog walking, I focus on safe, structured walks that match your dog’s pace and needs. I prioritize leash safety, positive reinforcement, and a calm walking experience. Walks can include neighborhood routes or familiar areas your dog enjoys, or local dog parks, and I always ensure they return home settled, hydrated, and comfortable.
“I was very nervous to have to leave my cats overnight, especially since they can get nervous around strangers, but they came home still happy and calm. Mayra made me feel very confident in her ability to care and she did just that. Thank you!”

“Ziggy had a great time with Rachel! He quickly made himself at home and loved cuddling, playing ball, and going on walks with her. Rachel made it easy to coordinate around my travel plans and kept me updated on how Ziggy was doing.”

“Christopher was a very reliable sitter who communicated clearly and definitely has a lot of experience! Our pup loved boarding with Christopher and we loved knowing that she was safe and happy!”

“Sadie had a great time staying with Melinda and her dog, Max. Since it was Sadie’s first visit, Melinda texted frequently to reassure me that all was going well. Actually, I think Sadie was sad to leave and missed her new friend. I recommend highly! C”

“When Michele and I first talked, I felt an ease with her that is rare when looking for any personal service these days. Our schedules didn’t match then, but when I was looking for someone again this month, I sent her a message to see if she was available. Thankfully she was. My work is challenging lately and Michele is patient, responsive, and respectful - I do the same as best as possible, so I appreciate kind and courteous people. The kittehs were in excellent hands. My boy is older, social, and on meds. He was happy to have a friendly face during the trip, as he sulks when he’s away from people for any amount of time. The girls are timid, so a bit less happy to have someone here, but well cared for. The house was better than it was upon leaving, which is above and beyond and truly appreciated. Michele will be the first choice for future trips and highly recommended - Thank you so much!”

About: I currently have 3 dogs (pitbull, red healer, chihuahua). Professionally worked at a doggie daycare and I just have a very sensitive heart for dogs/cats. I have another gig job ( I deliever for Amazon) so I can be very flexible. I really enjoy the freedoms of making my own schedules. My home sits on a state highway, so I am very vigilant about secure fencing. I do not allow my own dogs to be outside unless I am home.

“Helen has been very responsive and accommodating with our requests. She handles our puppy as if it was her own. She provides an update and a pic for every visit which is comforting as the dog owner. Thanks Helen!!”

About: I have been taking care of different types of pets all my life. I have had extensive experience with dogs, cats, lizards, bird, rats, mice, chinchillas, ferrets, etc. All of my pets are very happy at home. My dog has a plethora of toys as does my cat and though the cat will take her toy from you and run away the dog absolutely loves sharing with others. Feel free to ask me about any other animals. I dont mind taking care of any critters when you're away to make sure they are perfectly cared for by a professional. Or even at my house if needed. I'm sure my critters wouldn't mind. Plus I am setting up a reptile room where they will be safe. thanks for your inquiries. :D
About: I enjoy caring for and being present with dogs. I am empathetic and always in tune with what others are feeling and need. I would love to hang out with your dogs! I have been around animals my entire life and find myself growing more drawn to caring for them every day. Currently, I do not have a dog of my own so I feel that taking care of your dogs would bring so much joy and fulfillment to my life. I enjoy all types of dogs and personalities and would enjoy getting to know your dogs! I feel others would describe me as patient, balanced, and responsible. Whether I'm just watching your dogs for the day or for an extended period of time you will be able to rest easily because they will be in warm, loving care.
About: I have spent the last 3 years traveling while doing house/pet sits throughout Mexico, Arizona, California, Michigan, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida. My clients have included some high profile gigs in Bel-Air, Beverly Hills, Pacific Palisades, and Malibu, but I have also spent months at a time living off-grid in the Mexican jungle and caring for animals on remote farms. My experience dates back to 1991 when I worked my high school summer vacations on a sheep farm to escape city life. I love ALL animals, and have had a special connection with them, my whole life. Your pets (and babies) will be comfortable with me right away. I have been a mom to birds, rodents, fish, cats, and dogs. I do have some experience with reptiles, as well. I come with many years of hands-on experience with dogs and cats from the puppy/kitten stage through their golden years, so you can rest assured that any special accommodations your fur-baby may need will be met with kindness and compassion. I am particularly fond of, and experienced with Bully Breeds, Golden Retrievers, and Doodles of all varieties. I only provide pet care in the owners home as I’ve found it is a far less stressful experience for the pets and the sitter. It’s all I do, so your pets will get tons of attention and affection. I also do occasional dog walking gigs while I’m staying at your home. Your babies are my babies while you’re away, and your home will be treated with the utmost respect. Confidentiality and privacy are considered paramount, always.
“Hannah was amazing! our cat was injured last minute before our trip, and she was so caring and flexible with us and our last minute changes and complications, and stepped up to give pain pills and extra care. Sky adored her and we appreciated all the updates and photos she sent. she made us feel a lot of ease while leaving our healing kitty in her hands.”

About: I offer gentle, dependable care shaped around each cat’s personality, routine and comfort level. I understand that cats often need patience, consistency and space to build trust. About: Look no further!! I’m the answer to all your dog’s needs… I respond very quickly, so please reach out. Let’s do a meet and greet ASAP!! Please read my profile and be sure to check out my photo gallery where you’ll see what kind of fun that we have on a daily basis. My reviews should give you an idea of what to expect when you book with me. I will send tons of pictures and videos every day. Headed out of town?? I’d love to stay with your dogs and create a seamless stress free opportunity for you to get away. Or we can all stay at my place with AC, a fenced in yard, and many neighborhood parks nearby. My house is in a safe and quiet neighborhood right across the street from Frenchy Field. Rest assured that they will be cared for as if they were my own while having the comfort and familiarity of your home, or the tons of fun that goes on at my place. I love all dogs unconditionally. I can provide a much smaller pack environment for your dog rather than a kennel where there could be 50 dogs at a time. Yikes!! I only accept dogs from one to two owners at a time so please plan ahead as I may get booked very quickly. This ensures that I can give your dogs the attention and care that they deserve. My daily routine revolves around my pack needs. Our routine is generally foods, walks, parks, poops, pees, plays, sleeps, repeat…. I am flexible and can accommodate pretty much any type of needs for your pets. I am ready to come care for your pets whenever I am available. Everything from simple walks and feeding to extended stays at my place or yours, it sounds like fun to me. I have a full time best friend and dog named Spreckles who is pretty close to perfect. His nickname is Sprex. He is Hawaiian, so naturally he is very friendly and mellow with tons of Aloha. My number one priority is pack safety. I follow a daily routine and consistent schedule with my pack. Our day always starts with a nice walk to a nearby park. I use my own custom made leash system that I can walk many dogs at the same time, safely and securely. When we’re not out walking or at the park we do a lot of chilling and hanging out around our house and fenced in yard. I promote the pack mentality among my dogs as I am always their pack leader who ensures their safety and protection all the time. I’m glad to use your dog’s crate at my house whenever I am not home if needed (not typical). Sometimes I take the pack out on planned field trips, usually afternoons and weekends, to various places throughout the area. Frenchy Park is right across the street from my house and super fun for the pups. I treat and protect each dog as if they were my own and love them all unconditionally. FYI, I don’t introduce my pack to other dogs that we don’t know, to avoid any unwanted drama and to keep everyone safe. New dogs really shouldn’t be introduced while on leashes anyway. I speak the language of dogs and am confident around them always. I am always their alpha who provides a fun and safe space for my pack.

“Sue was the PERFECT sitter for our pup. She’s sweet, kind, and professional. She’s easy to communicate with and took time for my dog to become comfortable. My dog seemed to love her time there, especially playing with the other sweet dog. We’re so thankful we found Sue to care for our dog.”

Bella settled in really quickly and had the best day. I was so happy to see how happy she was when I picked her up at the end of the day. I would highly recommend Stephanie for pet sitting services. About: I grew up overseas in a family that seemed to always have at least four dogs at home. My first dog (that truly felt like my own) was Lapsi, a beautiful crossbreed, that followed us home one day and never left. She went on to live with us for 16 years, giving birth to several generations of pups that we took care of and distributed across the Valley into caring family homes. In The States my first dog was not actually mine, but my freshman roommate's chestnut lab that he brought from home and that we both took care of - and now, full circle, my current roommates have 3 dogs! I think that qualifies me as a dog person, even if only by association. Throughout it all, I have learned to love our furry friends in all their variety: to receive love from them, to take care of them, watch over them, and even occasionally take urgent action to protect their well being. Pets have been a big part of my life and I'd love to share this enthusiasm with you. In the end it's a relationship that requires a little bit of nurturing and a whole lot of love. Cheers thanks for considering me! I'm currently in between work so I have ample time to afford your animal. In the heat, I find it's best to walk out side of peak hours - but depending on the naimal I am willing to forage in the midday heat. I have a compound with an animal gate that can provide security for most sizes of animals. It's important that all animals have spaces that are appropriate for them and if not that they can access a space that's suits them on a daily basis.
“From our first communication, I knew.... Kendell is such a beautiful and loving person inside and out. Her love and joy pour out of her. My Buttercup had no hesitation leaving with her and her precious pup, Taz. My heart was happy because I knew this was a new chapter for my little girl who has had a difficult season of instability. I appreciated that Kendell could pick up and drop her back off. The photos confirmed what I already knew. My fur baby was safe, comfortable, happy, and doing zoomies! In Kendell and Taz, Buttercup and I have found new friends and we are so excited to start this new journey together.”

“Our family visited Santa Fe and needed a dog sitter to assist with daytime care for a few days. Patris was wonderful with our pup, very accommodating, and quick to respond. Thank you Patris for all your help!!!”

About: I've had dogs and taken care of them since I was a young child. As an adult I’ve fostered dogs for over 5 years, taking care of all types of dogs. I have experience potty training, house breaking, bathing, and more. The dogs I have fostered came from all sorts of backgrounds; homeless, abusive households, neglected, seniors, disabled (blind, deaf, hard of hearing, missing limbs). I enjoy spending time with all animals and animals like to be around me. Currently working on my dog trainer certification I have a flexible schedule since I work from home most of the time. As a dog owner myself I spend a lot of time taking care of my dog. We go on walks 3 times a day, he gets treats, cuddles and play time all day long. On the weekends when the weather is nice we like to go for short hikes. Unfortunately I sustained a bad fall in 2024 and broke my back; so I am unable to care for any pet over 50lbs or any pet that is leash reactive or pulls on a leash. Since that would aggravate the injury and most definetely stop me from caring for pets all together; I hope you can understand! I have a small backyard where we go play fetch, we also love going to Frenchy’s or many of the other parks in the area for walks and off leash play when the weather is nice. Going for walks 2-3 times a day around the neighborhood as well

About: I am an avid pet-loving Minnesota native who would love to watch your pet & house-sit while you are away. I moved to NM in August and can't wait to continue to meet new pets! I do exceptional dog walking, dog and cat sitting, and house sitting as needed at clients homes. I take great pride in my pet-sitting job and hold it to a high standard regarding time spent with pets, walks, and cuddles. Pet care has been a crucial part of my early twenties lifestyle. I have always been an animal lover, but cannot own a pet myself due to where I live. If I am able to watch someone's furry friends, it makes my day! I keep pets food schedules as close to what they are used to as possible, as well as stay overnight, play with them, and take them on walks. I love to explore my clients backyard when I am pet sitting, whether that be a trail to follow, a pond to walk around, or a neighborhood to admire. I am an avid walker, so we will certainty go on a long walk. I am always mindful of traffic and keep pets on their leash, unless specific directions are given. Safety is my top priority.
“Our clan of canines with a pack leading feline LOVE Heather! Heather is kind, caring and easy going with all of the rituals around our furry friendly lifestyle. We are excited to add her to the mix.”

About: Hey y’all! My name is Isabella and I have cared for dogs and cats my whole life and love doing so. I live in Santa Fe near many hiking trails which the dogs love! I currently have an orange tabby named Prince who gets along super well with other dogs and cats and is used to me doing Rover- it’s totally fine if your pet hasn’t been around a cat before but please do not request care if they do not get along with cats:) 🐶WHAT TO BRING: -food and water bowl -food -poop bags (not required but appreciated!) -any toys/bed you feel they’d be comfy with! (Also not required but appreciated) I can care for pets whenever, I have classes throughout the week but since I stay on campus I’m never more than 5 minutes walking distance away from my dorm. On average I have about 3 hours of classes per day mon-fri so I’m home the rest of the time. I will be able to board always and do dog walks any day of the week. I have reliable transportation as well. My dorm is quite large so I have space to take care of pets, as well as toys and food and a litter box for cats if you can’t bring yours. I also live in a very outdoorsy campus so I take dogs on long nature walks.
About: I’ve had pets my whole life including Great Danes, cats, bunnies, gerbils, fish and have been dog and cat sitting professionally for 5 years. Recently I lived and worked on a thousand-acre farm caring for cows, horses and goats, doing everything from feeding, cleaning and even bottle feeding. Bottom line is I love pets, and would love to meet your four-legged family members!! I currently work from my computer so I am very mobile and happy to be flexible with scheduling, etc. I love spending time with all animals so I make it a priority to fit this kind of work in. *If you have multiple pets and my site is quoting a large number for your sitting request, please know I am happy to look closer and find a good price for all! If I am giving care at your home my number one priority is your animal’s safety. That’s best implemented by focusing on your (the owner’s) rules and daily routines. Once I establish that, I focus on creating a special bond with your pet—it’s like they’re getting a new friend. If I’m boarding at my house my number one priority is to create a new and special routine that reflects their home routine but with new special elements. I have a very large yard and a safe neighborhood to take pets on walks, and as long as they are happy sharing space with a cat we have a really good time!

About: I have grown up with dogs and have always had a deep love for taking care of them. I was born into a family of two dog-loving parents and a yellow lab named Sammy. Since then, we've had a male Lhaso Apso named Tony, a female Chow Chow mix named Ana, and currently a male Wheaten Terrier named Sonny. There has literally never been a moment in my life where I did not own a dog, and since 2010 I have also volunteered at the New Rochelle Humane Society (walking, feeding, and socializing the cats and dogs). I truly know the ins and outs of dog care like the back of my hand -- its more than a job for me, its my lifestyle, and I hope that I can share my lifestyle with your and your furry friend! As of 2024 I currently live in Santa Fe, NM and am offering my dog walking and drop in services in the area, and I am also offering petsitting services in both Santa Fe and Taos. UPDATE 12/26/24 I will be in New York City for the holidays and am offering walking and sitting services here until January 16 2025 I work freelance, which means I have a lot of time to spend at home with your pet. I structure my day around the needs of each animal, and can work with even the most demanding schedule. I always make sure the client's home is as clean as it was when I first arrived, and that all doors are locked with animals inside. I pay a lot of attention to the physical and mental state of animals, and if I see they're overheating or in any state of distress I will do everything in my power to make them feel better.

“Jessica has been an absolute lifesaver for our family! We've trusted her multiple times with our four dogs, two of whom have specific medical needs, and she handles everything flawlessly. We couldn’t recommend her more for anyone needing a responsible and compassionate sitter!”

“I highly recommend Lynn C. and would leave my pup with her anytime. My dog is very shy and sensitive so finding the right fit is essential. Lynn C boarded him over the weekend and she totally understands animals. I felt at ease knowing he was in good hands with photo updates and great communication. Thank you!!!!”

“Our dog is terrified of thunder. She tries to hide and sheds excessively. Unfortunately it thundered a lot while we were way, but Heidi was very patient and caring. Our dog was very happy and healthy when we picked her up, and seems to be missing the company of Heidi's dog. Heidi is very friendly, warm and conscientious. Her house and fenced yard are very nice and perfect for dogs. We were more than happy with the care she provided.”

“Ian took such good care of our Max. He went on walks and a car ride (Max lives a car ride!), so Max had the best day. Thanks for being available at the last minute and for taking care of Max!”

“After other plans fell through I needed someone to watch my dogs while I was away. Stevvi was responsive and flexible, making the whole process easy and straightforward. This was the first time I’ve picked my dog up after being away and she acted like she wanted to go back inside the sitter’s as much as coming with me. I highly recommend her if you need someone to dog sit.”

“We were lucky to find Lily when our regular sitter was unavailable. When we picked Tyson up I think he would gladly have stayed longer. We would be very comfortable booking with Lily again.”
