“Admittedly, I was a bit nervous to leave my quirky tripod at anyone’s house. Mylene is my queen but she is anxious, nervous and can be slow to warm up. Michelle and her family were the perfect fit for Mylene. It was so nice to not have to worry about Mylene while on vacation. I could tell that Mylene received a ton of attention on Mylene’s terms, exercise and clear/consistent direction from Michelle. This is why her stay went smoothly and she didn’t destroy anything due to not being stressed and she was able play with 2 other dogs. Michelle was very communicate and timely with responses which made securing this rover stay, drop off and pick up extremely easy. What a wonderful couple! I got the cutest pictures of our pups while they were staying with their new friends. It is always a great comfort when your dogs are happy to see you when you pick them up but are hanging their heads out the car windows looking for their caretakers to happily say “thank you” and “we’ll miss you,” wagging their tails. My pups really enjoyed making new friends with the resident pets and this sweet couple were so considerate how they managed their introductions. They have a big, fenced yard for outdoor play and our dogs felt right at home as soon as we got their crates in place in their own bedroom. I will definitely call upon this wonderful couple again!
We will definitely be returning to Elthea and Joshua as our go-to sitters from now on. Our two dogs has such a good time, as evidenced by the many wonderful pictures that we were concerned they wouldn't want to come back home with us! Their setup is great for hosting pets with a wide variety of needs, and our large dogs had tons of room to run and play, and tons of attention and playtime. It is clear that Elthea and Joshua are true animal lovers.
