“Admittedly, I was a bit nervous to leave my quirky tripod at anyone’s house. Mylene is my queen but she is anxious, nervous and can be slow to warm up. Michelle and her family were the perfect fit for Mylene. It was so nice to not have to worry about Mylene while on vacation. I could tell that Mylene received a ton of attention on Mylene’s terms, exercise and clear/consistent direction from Michelle. This is why her stay went smoothly and she didn’t destroy anything due to not being stressed and she was able play with 2 other dogs. About: Kayla is our 2-year-old daughter, and she absolutely loves dogs! We want to help her grow up learning how to be gentle, kind, and responsible when caring for pets. Of course, we’ll be right there with her every step of the way, teaching and helping her along the way. Daily Care Routine We follow a flexible, rotational care schedule so each pet gets individual attention and plenty of opportunities to go outside. Morning: First thing in the morning, we take each pet outside one at a time for a bathroom break and some fresh air. Once everyone has had their turn, they come inside for breakfast. Indoor Time: After breakfast, pets are able to relax and enjoy time indoors in a comfortable, climate-controlled environment. They have access to toys and a TV for entertainment, along with plenty of attention and interaction throughout the day. Potty Breaks: Every couple of hours, we rotate through the pets and take them outside individually for another potty break. We continue this routine throughout the day, adjusting it based on each pet’s needs. Because we work from home and are here throughout the day, we’re very flexible. We can give pets extra potty breaks, attention, playtime, or quiet time as needed. Our goal is to keep them comfortable, happy, and on a routine that feels as close to home as possible. A Comfortable Home Away From Home Our kennel is designed to feel less like a traditional kennel and more like a comfortable home away from home. We have three individual kennels, each equipped with a cozy dog bed so every guest has their own comfortable space to rest. For our longer-term guests, we also have a dedicated doggy bath to help keep them clean and comfortable during their stay. During the day, pets can enjoy time indoors in our climate-controlled space, complete with a TV for entertainment and plenty of toys and attention. When it’s time to stretch their legs or take a potty break, they have access to our fenced yard where they can safely get some fresh air and movement. At night, we use a sound machine to create a calm, peaceful environment and help everyone settle in for a restful night. Because we’re home throughout the day, we’re able to give each guest individual attention and adjust their routine to fit their needs. We want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with us.

What a wonderful couple! I got the cutest pictures of our pups while they were staying with their new friends. It is always a great comfort when your dogs are happy to see you when you pick them up but are hanging their heads out the car windows looking for their caretakers to happily say “thank you” and “we’ll miss you,” wagging their tails. My pups really enjoyed making new friends with the resident pets and this sweet couple were so considerate how they managed their introductions. They have a big, fenced yard for outdoor play and our dogs felt right at home as soon as we got their crates in place in their own bedroom. I will definitely call upon this wonderful couple again!
We will definitely be returning to Elthea and Joshua as our go-to sitters from now on. Our two dogs has such a good time, as evidenced by the many wonderful pictures that we were concerned they wouldn't want to come back home with us! Their setup is great for hosting pets with a wide variety of needs, and our large dogs had tons of room to run and play, and tons of attention and playtime.
