Cat Sitting in Los Alamos

About: I grew up with doberman pinchers, my last dog was a cockapoo, and I've cared for every sized dog in between. I believe lots of exercise, praise, pets, and treats make happy dogs. I'm experienced in medication administration and I have a fully fenced yard. I work out of the house from 9am to 10:30am weekdays (teaching at UNM) so I'm home to be able to play, go for walks, and be flexible to accommodate the needs of your dog during most of the day. Whether your dog is high energy or laid back, they'll be content in my care. I do not currently have any pets but I have lots of squirrels, chipmunks, and birds to chase in my yard. I live in a great area for walks, and if they are the adventurous kind, we can even venture into the canyon! I have two kids who are usually in school from 8am to 2:30pm. They are 4 and 9 years old and will play with any willing dog. My kids can read dog body language and are cautious with any dog they aren't familiar with. I also have business insurance for in-home pet care, just in case!

They took plenty of pictures and left notes for each day's drop-ins, and they took good care of my cat's litter box. They had a preliminary call to meet with me and discuss entering the apartment and safety considerations, and they were very professional and prepared.”

About: I’ve cared for animals since I was seven years old and have hands-on experience with pets of all ages and needs. Since age ten, I’ve fostered neonatal kittens requiring around-the-clock feeding, monitoring, and care. I also have experience house sitting for family friends, often staying over a week at a time to care for their pets, maintain routines, and ensure their homes and animals are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’m a high school student, and my classes run from 8:30 AM to 2:40 PM on weekdays. Outside of school hours, I’m fully available for pet care, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnight stays. I’m able to provide attentive care before and after school and follow pets’ routines closely. Pets are not left alone for long periods during the weekends. On school days, they may be alone during my class hours, but I provide care before and immediately after school. I make sure pets get attention, exercise, feeding, and companionship throughout the day and evening.

About: I am an avid pet-loving Minnesota native who would love to watch your pet & house-sit while you are away. I moved to NM in August and can't wait to continue to meet new pets! I do exceptional dog walking, dog and cat sitting, and house sitting as needed at clients homes. I take great pride in my pet-sitting job and hold it to a high standard regarding time spent with pets, walks, and cuddles. Pet care has been a crucial part of my early twenties lifestyle. I have always been an animal lover, but cannot own a pet myself due to where I live. If I am able to watch someone's furry friends, it makes my day! I keep pets food schedules as close to what they are used to as possible, as well as stay overnight, play with them, and take them on walks. I love to explore my clients backyard when I am pet sitting, whether that be a trail to follow, a pond to walk around, or a neighborhood to admire. I am an avid walker, so we will certainty go on a long walk. I am always mindful of traffic and keep pets on their leash, unless specific directions are given. Safety is my top priority.

About: I currently have 3 dogs (pitbull, red healer, chihuahua). Professionally worked at a doggie daycare and I just have a very sensitive heart for dogs/cats. I have another gig job ( I deliever for Amazon) so I can be very flexible. I really enjoy the freedoms of making my own schedules. My home sits on a state highway, so I am very vigilant about secure fencing. I do not allow my own dogs to be outside unless I am home.

I’d love to stay with your dogs and create a seamless stress free opportunity for you to get away. Or we can all stay at my place with AC, a fenced in yard, and many neighborhood parks nearby. My house is in a safe and quiet neighborhood right across the street from Frenchy Field. Rest assured that they will be cared for as if they were my own while having the comfort and familiarity of your home, or the tons of fun that goes on at my place. I love all dogs unconditionally. I can provide a much smaller pack environment for your dog rather than a kennel where there could be 50 dogs at a time. Yikes!! I only accept dogs from one to two owners at a time so please plan ahead as I may get booked very quickly. This ensures that I can give your dogs the attention and care that they deserve. My daily routine revolves around my pack needs. Our routine is generally foods, walks, parks, poops, pees, plays, sleeps, repeat…. I am flexible and can accommodate pretty much any type of needs for your pets. I am ready to come care for your pets whenever I am available. Everything from simple walks and feeding to extended stays at my place or yours, it sounds like fun to me. I have a full time best friend and dog named Spreckles who is pretty close to perfect. His nickname is Sprex. He is Hawaiian, so naturally he is very friendly and mellow with tons of Aloha. My number one priority is pack safety. I follow a daily routine and consistent schedule with my pack. Our day always starts with a nice walk to a nearby park. I use my own custom made leash system that I can walk many dogs at the same time, safely and securely. When we’re not out walking or at the park we do a lot of chilling and hanging out around our house and fenced in yard. I promote the pack mentality among my dogs as I am always their pack leader who ensures their safety and protection all the time. I’m glad to use your dog’s crate at my house whenever I am not home if needed (not typical). Sometimes I take the pack out on planned field trips, usually afternoons and weekends, to various places throughout the area. Frenchy Park is right across the street from my house and super fun for the pups. I treat and protect each dog as if they were my own and love them all unconditionally. FYI, I don’t introduce my pack to other dogs that we don’t know, to avoid any unwanted drama and to keep everyone safe. New dogs really shouldn’t be introduced while on leashes anyway. I speak the language of dogs and am confident around them always. I am always their alpha who provides a fun and safe space for my pack.
