Information Susan W. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know what your pet likes, dislikes, and how is the best way for your pet to be comfortable while you are away. An initial "meet and greet" is highly desired.

A typical day

I am an avid hiker, usually logging five miles a day with my four year old mini Australian Shepherd, Annie. Based on your pet's personality we can be active, social, quiet or anything in between.

Pet care experience

I am a responsible, quiet, organized, non-smoking home owner with no children at home who will respect your house and spoil your pets just like I do my own. I have been an active volunteer and then executive director of an animal shelter; fostering scores of momma dogs/cats and their litters until they were healthy enough for adoption. I have cared for my daughter's menagerie of six pets and successfully soothed my son's Husky with separation anxiety while he was traveling. I have also been on the other side of pet house sitting - finding pet sitters to take care of our rescue Golden Retrievers - so I know that clear expectations for both the sitter and home owner are essential.
