My boy is older, social, and on meds. He was happy to have a friendly face during the trip, as he sulks when he’s away from people for any amount of time. The girls are timid, so a bit less happy to have someone here, but well cared for. The house was better than it was upon leaving, which is above and beyond and truly appreciated. About: I have had and taken care of pets my entire life. I grew up in rural NM, so am comfortable with all sorts of animals, from dogs and cats to livestock, chickens, or even lizards! I am comfortable caring for, walking, administering medications, and wound management for any type of dog or cat. I am currently studying for a medical school exam, so my schedule is flexible and play dates with animals are my favorite type of study break! I do not offer boarding but I am available for walks, drop-ins, and overnights. While I do not provide care in my home, I am comfortable following any safety guidelines that you request I use in your home or while out walking your pet.

About: If you have a pet that you wish you could get more exercise, I can help with that. I’ll take your dog for 15 minutes. I’ll take your dog for 4 hours! I grew up in Los Alamos so I know the area very well. I am a nursing student who has a relatively flexible schedule and loves excused to procrastinate. I grew up with both dogs and cats and have experience house sitting for surrounding neighbors. I have experience with oral medication for both dogs and cats, and I can even give your pet a bath! I know my schedule a good amount before hand so feel free to reach out about services whenever! I can walk morning afternoon or evening. I am very detail oriented and follow instructions great! I am caring and patient with animals. Animals typically warm up to me quickly. My goal is to make you and your pet make the most out of these beautiful sunny New Mexico days!

About: For the majority of my life, I had wanted to become a veterinarian, and it is only in the past few years that I changed my career choice. I have a 15 year-old pug-beagle mix named Luna and I also had two guinea pigs for 5 of those years. Starting around age 10, I also took care of neighbors’ and friends’ cats and dogs, including walking, feeding, petting, and playing with them. I'm temporarily living with my family due to COVID, but my dog is very old and I can't take her on long walks anymore. I am very active, so I can take on rambunctious animals, but as I said, my dog is very old, so I am also experienced with older, slower animals as well. I am currently filling out paperwork and doing onboarding tasks for my new position with the BLM beginning in March. Until then, I have nearly no plans and would like to spend some time with animals and make a little money on the side. I live in a House with a large backyard, well suited for most pets. I am also a very active person, so walking and/or running is a normal activity for me that I would love to have the company of a dog for.
