About: I have a cat myself , and have cared for dogs my whole life! I love to take them on walks, and anything else they need. I know how to give oral medications, and accommodate all of your pets needs. I’m currently working full time but love to take care of pets on the side ! About: Hi there! My name is Melanie and I'm 19. I've taken care of pets my whole life, including my childhood cat of 16 years and dog of 8 years, who have taught me how to care for animals of any age! Over the last 8 years, my family and I have fostered countless litters of kittens and puppies. This has given me a lot of experience taking care of dogs and cats with any personality! I currently have a 8-year-old hound. My pup is a medium sized dog, so I would feel most comfortable with smaller to medium sized dogs! I am a college student with lots of free time between and after classes! Most of my mornings, afternoons, and weekends are free to drop in and take care of pets! During drop-ins and walks, I'll make sure to keep up with any routines your pets may have. This includes feeding schedules, walking schedules and locations, play time, crate time, etc.

About: I’ve grown up with Beagles and work well with all breeds and ages. I strongly believe that every dog deserves a day out on the town (or maybe just a walk around it). I’m free most weekends and various times during the day. I can do early mornings or late nights, happy to spend time with any dog throughout the day. I knock and ring the doorbell always first, just so the dogs know I’m coming (if they don’t already), walk in, greet everyone and wish the dogs a good morning, feed and water them, then let them have their breakfast and take them on a walk afterwards, always making sure to clean up after them when I first get there and definitely before I leave.

About: I have worked as a veterinary technician for the last 10 years. I am very comfortable giving any necessary medications and injections your pet may need. I'm also Animal CPR certified. I'm a 2018 Rutgers University graduate with an animal science degree. I love working with all animals. I am excited to meet new people and new pets! I can also do overnight stays when you are traveling. Your dog would always be on a leash / harness before any door opened. Your dog would be crated if mentioned for their safety. About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life. I currently have 3 dogs and 1 cat who are all rescues and are treated like my children. I have volunteered at animal shelters taking dogs for walks and giving them breaks from their kennels. I have availability early mornings, anfternoons, evenings and weekends. About: I have worked at the pet shop in town for almost 5 years. I have learned a lot about nutrition and am here to help with that as well. I have always loved dogs & animals. I have 3 dogs now and use to have cats growing up. I have always helped family/ friends with their pets. My cousins would call me “ the dog whisperer” I am very patient and understanding- a dog sometimes is anxious just like us humans. I think taking time out of the day and using interactive toys is so important for stimulation and keeping them busy. I usually am off on sunday & wednesday. I typically work in the morning until 3pm. Can do walks/feed them/ check in’s on the dogs after work. I have lots of grass outside & a gate inside.I would play with them outside, make sure they have a harness and a longer line ( so they are safe)& take them for walks. I can brush the dogs as well. I do prefer to stop at the clients house. I have 2 dogs at my house - it can be a lot. In the clients house I would first make sure the dog goes outside to the bathroom upon arrival. I would take them for a walk, play with the dogs outside( depending on the gate situation) Make sure they have lots of water, food & i can brush them.

I always put the needs of animals above my own and will treat your pets as if they were my own! I have taken care of dogs with different medical needs and animals of all ages. I am available on weekends and evening hours. I can stop in and spend time with your pets or take your dog for a walk if youre running late or if you have weekend plans. I am often told I am too nice, but sometimes kindness and patience can be what someone needs to be a good caregiver. I have worked at East Memphis Pet Hospital & Resort as a Daycare and Kennel worker, and occasionally perform Vet Tech duties such as administering medication, which has taught me a lot about caring for multiple dogs and adapting to each dogs' individual needs. I have also worked for GoDog West Nashville and Morris Animal Inn. To be responsible for another life sometimes means that you have to be flexible, I understand if something comes up last minute, it happens; I will be as flexible as you and your dogs' needs. Your dog will be in good-hearted, caring hands while you are doing what you need to do. Your dogs and their home will be safe, you can leave it to me. I will respond to booking requests with 12-24 hours if not immediately. If something doesn’t work in my schedule I will let you know ahead of time unless there is an emergency. I work Freelance from home (remote), so my hours are flexible. I have obligations with other people and clients but I will make any booking done through the app, if they are accepted and scheduled. Failure to contact about a booking before service will result in a cancellation and YOU will be charged a cancellation fee and will take all responsibility for your pet(s). I treat them with respect, I will not hit or discipline them physically, if you instruct me to do so I will decline and cancel the stay or appointment. I do not tolerate abuse or neglect. I will clean up if they have an accident and my motto is to “leave the house roughly in the same state you came/found it in”. I will use your amenities like washer/dryer/sink/shower/dishwasher if I am staying multiple days or overnight. I will do my best to clean up after myself but I cannot conform to all expectations of perfection. Make sure there are no illegal drugs or weapons in the residence (weapons must be away and sealed in a secure location, if any are in the residence) failure to comply with this will result in an immediate cancellation and it will be on YOU.
