Noria is incredibly kind, smart, professional, loves dogs and has a gentle/loving way in interacting with my Kobe. She has been truly a blessing to find! My family and I are assured that when we leave Kobe for an overnight with Noria that he is being cared for as if he is part of her family. Kobe can be an anxious dog and slow to warm up to people. She has a patient and playful disposition. From the first time he met her he was happy, calm and it was evident that he felt secure in her care. The medication and feeding instructions have always been followed and understood. We appreciate the photos she sends and the updates as to how he is doing. “Debbie sent pictures and all I saw were 2 small dogs who did not miss their human Mom. There was play time (smiles and action), down time (cuddling and relaxing). I was always under the impression they sat in a corner and missed me with all their tiny hearts, but no - Debbie had them going the whole time! One fell asleep on the drive home due to the days action, the other needed every minute of tthe days action! Her property is amazing! Gorgeous setting only maybe two or three miles from downtown Bernardsville. So much safe space to run and play in. Exploring is at the top of Louie's requirements and he had a whole acre of fenced in yard to get all his Terrier on! Thanks so much Debbie! WE WILL BE BACK!!!!”

About: I have experience with both younger dogs and elderly dogs. I have specifically worked with senior dogs, who required special care getting around, keeping track of their medication schedule, and their diets. I'm currently working part time and remotely, so I'll have a lot of time to spend with your dogs. I also enjoy taking walks, so I'll make sure your dogs are getting the outside time they need! I have a large fenced in yard at my home, along with plenty of dog toys. I can also crate your dog if needed. There are also a few trails nearby which are easy and engaging for dogs to walk through.

About: I am a registered nurse by trade but enjoy caring for a various assortment of animals (dogs, cats, snakes/reptiles, birds, fish). Before I became a nurse I was a dog grooming assistant (so if your special pup needs a bath or brushing I can help). I have experience dealing with an assortment of dog personalities and age ranges. Medication administration is also no issue (having prior experience with pills, drops and ointments). I work remotely Monday to Friday and am able to stay or drop in throughout the day given proper notice of the pet’s needs. I am fully capable of providing walks and playtime based on your pet’s requirements as well as accommodate special care such as medication, alternate relieving strategies (pee pads, diapers etc).
About: I have grown up with various types of pets for the 20 years of my life. I had two Labradors since I was young, they are not around any more. We have a large yard for plenty of running and playing for any type of dog. We are a big family so there will be someone to play with them. I have pet sat for a friend of my mom for two medium sized dogs for three weeks. I am available on Tuesday mornings because I have class at 6:30 at night and free any time from Thursday through Sunday. According to my sister's weiner dog, I am very good at tug-of-war. “I cannot express how grateful we are to have found Jake! We were unexpectedly put in a very stressful situation when our longtime dog sitter became unavailable one week into our two week trip. We were facing the possibility of having to cancel the remainder of our plans and return home. In over 15 years of having multiple dogs, I have ALWAYS done a meet and greet and spent considerable time walking a new sitter through our home, routines, and VERY specific instructions. We don't have just one or two dogs. We have a six pack, each with very different personalities, routines, and needs! We had six to eight people familiar with our dogs who unfortunately weren't available to step in. Thankfully, my sister had recently met Jake through Rover for her own dogs and had a wonderful interaction. While that gave us some reassurance, Jake had never been to our home or met any of our dogs! This was a big change for me (and the dogs). Jake and I spent nearly an hour on the phone going through everything. He was competent, patient, communicative, supportive, and, most importantly, willing to step into a situation that was far from ordinary. Jake succeeded, our dogs succeeded, and we are very very blessed for this outcome. One more thing worth mentioning. I have always chosen female dog sitters, simply because I assumed that was the most comfortable fit for our household and dogs. Well, Jake has now changed my perspective on that. About: I have experience with both younger dogs and elderly dogs. I have specifically worked with senior dogs, who required special care getting around, keeping track of their medication schedule, and their diets. I'm currently working part time and remotely, so I'll have a lot of time to spend with your dogs. I also enjoy taking walks, so I'll make sure your dogs are getting the outside time they need! I have a large fenced in yard at my home, along with plenty of dog toys. I can also crate your dog if needed. There are also a few trails nearby which are easy and engaging for dogs to walk through.

About: I’ve grown up with Beagles and work well with all breeds and ages. I strongly believe that every dog deserves a day out on the town (or maybe just a walk around it). I’m free most weekends and various times during the day. I can do early mornings or late nights, happy to spend time with any dog throughout the day. I knock and ring the doorbell always first, just so the dogs know I’m coming (if they don’t already), walk in, greet everyone and wish the dogs a good morning, feed and water them, then let them have their breakfast and take them on a walk afterwards, always making sure to clean up after them when I first get there and definitely before I leave.

“This was our trial run overnight stay for a longer stay we have coming up. Chris lives in a lovely area with a nice little fenced yard for the dogs to play and do their business. He has a cute smaller female mixed breed of his own. Our Finley over other dogs and had good playtime with her. I like that Chris only takes one doggie client at a time so that I know Finley will get the attention and care that he needs. Based on our successful overnight I am going to book Chris for our long trip. I don’t like making recommendations after only one overnight but I am confident that I will be doing just that after his next stay.”
