I walk/feed/brush dogs, administer oral medication if indicated, and spend time playing with them. I also take in mail, water plants, and take out trash/recycling. I am a newly retired teacher, now only working part time. I am available for your pet care needs early morning, early afternoon, & evenings. About: I’ve always had a pet in my house! I cared for my mother’s dog full-time during long recovery from back surgery! I have always had deep connections to animals and am patient but eager to gain their trust. I have accommodated for a wide range of furry personalities and I am excited to meet more animals over the summer. “Debbie sent pictures and all I saw were 2 small dogs who did not miss their human Mom. There was play time (smiles and action), down time (cuddling and relaxing). I was always under the impression they sat in a corner and missed me with all their tiny hearts, but no - Debbie had them going the whole time! One fell asleep on the drive home due to the days action, the other needed every minute of tthe days action! Her property is amazing! Gorgeous setting only maybe two or three miles from downtown Bernardsville. So much safe space to run and play in. Exploring is at the top of Louie's requirements and he had a whole acre of fenced in yard to get all his Terrier on! Thanks so much Debbie! WE WILL BE BACK!!!!”

About: I have lots of experience with dogs and absolutely love spending time with them — playing, teaching tricks, and taking them on walks. I grew up around dogs and have a real passion for it! I only take one dog at a time, so your pup gets my full attention and focus throughout the stay. About: I grew up caring for my family's black labs my entire life. I currently own two beautiful baby Shih Tzus, Tony & Guiness with my beautiful girlfriend. They add so much joy to our lives and are a big part of our growing family. I invest a lot of time and effort into training them daily, to build trust and give them the best lives possible. My apartment complex has many areas to walk outside, with sidewalks and open grass areas where I walk my boys. There is also a spacious indoor dog park in the basement of my complex where I take them to play, especially on rainy days. We do training both indoors and on walks outside, individually and as a family. I also expose my dogs to as many experiences as possible, bringing them to community events, outdoor dining, and social gatherings. Our family does not believe in leaving pets home alone all day every day, and want to give them as much stimulation and social interaction as possible.

About: I have grown up with various types of pets for the 20 years of my life. I had two Labradors since I was young, they are not around any more. We have a large yard for plenty of running and playing for any type of dog. We are a big family so there will be someone to play with them. I have pet sat for a friend of my mom for two medium sized dogs for three weeks. I am available on Tuesday mornings because I have class at 6:30 at night and free any time from Thursday through Sunday. According to my sister's weiner dog, I am very good at tug-of-war. We have also extra toys that they can play with here and at home.

“Areli took great care of our dog, Harper, while we were away. She sent us daily photos to provide us some comfort that Harper was enjoying her stay. Harper slept all day after we picked her up, a sign that she had a blast playing with the other dogs and came home exhausted. Will definitely look to board Harper there again in the future.”

About: We are a loving and lively household where we will snuggle and play fetch with your pup, take them to the dog park, and keep them happy and occupied. My husband and I have a very active goldendoodle, Bell, who is 9 years old. Neither of us remember a time when there wasn't a dog in the house growing up! We know that we are taking on no small task when we agree to be responsible for your furry friend. We will follow your instructions to a T and we realize that every doggo is their own unique individual with their own unique needs. We are pros when it comes to high-energy dogs with a mind of their own! I am a full-time parent of three and we have a dog of our own whom we are home with all day. Staying active with our doodle is an integral part of our daily routine and we would love to have even more walks, games of fetch, and tricks + treats to look forward to! We LOVE to love on your pet! In our home you can expect a minimum of two 20-minute walks a day, plus more upon request and some leash time in our back yard if they like to hang out and observe the world. We are big proponents of fetch and chase.
“Trista was amazing. I found out that I had to go out of town without much warning, and she had no problem accommodating our last minute request and pupsitting my golden. Trista sent pictures and updates, which were great, and she was flexible with our pickup time since the snow affected my commute. Riley played so much that she was exhausted when we brought her home! I will definitely be rebooking this awesome sitter!”
