About: I’ve been caring for my own animals since childhood and grew up with big dogs. Today I share my life with an 80-pound hound mix and a Velcro cat. I’m naturally empathetic, reliable, and genuinely happiest when caring for animals. Your pets will always have my full attention, and I make it a priority to ensure they feel safe, loved, and understood. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, including energetic puppies and gentle seniors. I adapt easily to different personalities and routines, whether that means patience, structure, or extra affection. Got a dog who pulls on the leash? I’ve got you. Got a cat who needs a little extra love and reassurance? I’ve got that covered too. I’m here for all your needs. I do work a typical 8-4 job with other hobbies of mine. But I’m open on weekends and nights! Weekends are pretty open both Saturday and Sunday. Nights I’m available for walks and drop ins after 5pm! I have a fenced in yard. However I am going to prefer to come to your house. My dog is a queen and would rather me not bring home dogs. Lol.
“We loooove Hannah!!! She is always on time, great with our pets and so sweet! She sends funny photos of them as well and makes sure our house is locked/mail is taken in. ❤️”

About: Hi!! I would love to help you with your pet care needs. I have a dog of my own who I have had for 6 years, since he was just a puppy. I have pet & house sat for friends and family members for years, often seen as a good “go to” person because of my love for animals. I’m also comfortable with providing care for plants, lizards, etc. as I have cared for them in the past! I work remotely so I am quite open to working around your schedule. Whatever works best for you will work for me! I walk my own dog 3 times a day so I can work your pet into that, or we can set up separate timing. If my dog is also welcome to stay at your home or on walks, he can be a great companion for pets who want a friend! He loves other dogs, cats, humans, etc. If you would prefer that my dog not join, he can stay home with my roommate. Let me know!
“I discovered I had no one to watch my to somewhat challenging dogs the night before a work event. Jake was professional, offered to have a quick meet and greet before the next day's visit, and showed up on time for both visits. I added a laundry list of concerns to my dog's profile. Luckily my dog loved Jake within 5 minutes of meeting him. So much so, that when my husband returned early and accidentally let Xara escape from the house, it was Jake my dog allowed herself to be caught by. She doesn't allow anyone but her besties to get near her when she is loose.”

“Liz helped us out with an evening drop in while we were out of town for several hours. Peace of mind. That’s what Liz gives me. I hate leaving our pups, but when we really have to, I know they are in the best hands. I love the pictures she takes to send us too! It’s a comfort to see them so happy when we are so far away.”

“Klea did an amazing job taking care of our cat. We just moved to the area and we’re looking for a new sitter so I am very happy that we found her. She followed all my instructions and spent a lot of time playing with beans. She took lots of pictures and I appreciated all the notes she left for us. Thank you klea!”

“Tanuj did a wonderful job taking care of our elderly kitty Bubba. She took a visit to warm up to him, but once she realized that he was there to give her fishies, she was ALL about it. We got pictures and updates showing how she was doing which definitely made our time away from her loads easier. Thanks heaps Tanuj! 🐾”
“Emily did a fantastic job dropping in for my cat Mika while I was away. She made sure to send me daily updates and pictures with how Mika was doing. Mika is typically hides while visitors are in the house, but over they days she warmed up to Emily and gladly accepted treats. I will most certainly use Emily again to watch over Mika.”

“From the reports and Rover card photos Izzy really enjoyed Emma's company, and despite being a shy cat, he came out and let her brush him right away. She made me feel comfortable leaving Izzy in someone else's care for the first time. I will definitely book her for my next trip, if she's available.”

About: I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own. I’ll follow your instructions for feeding, walking and providing your pets with what they are used to and need. I’ll play, brush, communicate with them with a lot of love and care. I presently care for friends’ dogs and have taken care of cats as well. I’ve had an Irish Setter, Garman Sheppard and English Springer Spaniel. I had to move after my divorce and pets are not allowed where I live now. Taking care of pets Is how I interact with these precious beings now. I hope to be able to have my own pet again some day. My last dog was a Springer Spaniel named Luna. She was so loving, smart and active. She was a part of our family. When my son was born, she slept under his crib. I’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have and will follow your directions and preferences. Safety for your pet is also a priority of mine. I work during the week. I'm available for pet sitting on weekends. I can also pet/house sit. My work schedule can be flexible for that. I can work from your home and take care of your pets. I will pet them, play games with them, if the yard is fenced or has an electric fence, in I can play frisbee outside and other fun games for exercise. I will wash their bowls, feed them, keep the water fresh and give them medication if needed or instructed by the family.
“Brittney was really great taking care of our two cats while we were away. She's dependable, detail-oriented and caring. We loved getting photos each day. Definitely recommended!”

About: Growing up on a farm, I developed a special bond with animals. I was always surrounded by furry friends, learning to care for them. I have a unique connection with cats and dog. I can’t wait to meet your cats and dogs, love them, and treat them like my own! 💝 I’m currently in between jobs so I have plenty of time to love and care for your pets. Even when I am employed, I always make it a priority to take care of your pets. This isn’t just a side job for me, this is my passion. This is not applicable as I do not currently take clients in my home. However for your home, my goal is safety and peace of mind for you. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
