“Jake was exceptional! He graciously agreed to help us at the 11th hour when another sitter fell through before our week away. Jake was prompt, followed directions perfectly, and so sweetly went above and beyond to make sure the house was clean and tidy when we got home. He actually spent extra time with our little guy, which was such a relief to us (we all know the degree of self-torture we go through when leaving a pet at home), and we could really tell that Jake is an animal lover. He sent us awesome pics and updates-it helped us enjoy our week away. Jake was generous with his time and effort, and we will absolutely be asking him to sit for us again!”

“Hannah takes great care of my kitty, especially getting her to play and cuddle! I often do not know my travel plans until a few days before, so she was able to come by on short notice. Thank you, Hannah!”

“Kristina was just brilliant with our older cat while we were away. Before our trip, she made time to visit us and Biscuit. We received updates and photos every day, and could see how well they were getting along! At the end, it was obvious that Biscuit had been well cared for, and that she had not been stressed.”

“This was another positive experience with Gwen, and we know our all 3 of our kitties agree. She cares for them like her own and provides detailed summaries and cute pictures every day. She will continue to be our top choice to care for our cats when we go away on vacation.”

“John and Asia showed up for my two cats for eight consecutive days. Was able to give pill to one of them. Fed and watered. Daily pictures were even sent. My wife and I will be using them again. Thank you John and Kathy”

“Ethan was fantastic watching my two cats while my family was on vacation. He fed them, cleaned out the litter box, and cleaned up the messes that one cat left on the floor in protest of us being away. Ethan was responsible, communicative, and trustworthy. I would use him again and would highly recommend him to others.”

“Ryan was super! He has excellent communication skills and maintained regular contact and updates. Our cat was happy, healthy and all things in good shape. I'd definitely book him again!”
About: Hi! My name is Alexyss and I have loved animals my entire life. I grew up with big dogs, starting with my golden retriever, Jazzy! My best friend growing up was my pitbull, Whiskey. She was the sweetest dog I’ve ever had and is the reason I’m in love with the breed. We then had Luna, who was a medium sized pit mix. She tragically passed away at the young age of 6 due to medical complications following a surgery. All of those dogs profoundly changed my life and made me a better dog owner. I now have my 20-year old kitty, Smudge. She is my entire world. I adopted her from the family I babysat for in college when they moved across the country. At that time she was 14 and I had knew her for two years already. I immediately did preventative medical care on her to ensure she lives a long, happy and comfortable last years of her life. It prides me to say that her vet tells me that I am the reason she has lived this long. It means the world to me because I would truly do anything for Smudge. In 2019, I started working for Veterinary Emergency Group as an ER Vet Receptionist. Through this extensive experience, I learned to identify emergencies and the level of severity. I’ve been able to help owners through communication that was compassionate while also being transparent. I was the first person to see the animals come in, and would immediately recognize which animals were in distress when their owners did not realize it. The many times I’ve acted off of instinct mixed with experience saved those fur babies in that moment so that they could get proper medical attention. In these instances, I would also jump in to assist in the critical case in any way I can. I then quickly moved onto be a ER Veterinary Assistant. I did everything I was allowed to do as an assistant. That included performing CPR, manual ventilation, assistance with emergency and non-emergency intubation, preparing for surgery, assisting with outpatient procedures, full-time nursing for the PARVO pups, full-time nursing for 15+ patients with the help of a tech, and WAY more. I’ve seen it all and done it all (all that I was legally allowed to do of course). It was intense and heartbreaking, hence why I switched gears into the social services field. I’d love to provide compassionate, loving and attentive care for your pet(s). I want for you to be able to go out and enjoy yourself without feeling worried sick about your fur baby. I can ensure you that I will treat and love them like my own. And with my ER experience, you can rest assured that I will be able to identify if your animal is in need of immediate medical attention and will take them to receive it. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies! I currently have a flexible schedule, so I am willing to work around your needs. The earlier the notice, the better so I can properly schedule. I can follow whatever rules you have in place for your fur baby and will ensure to double check with you if I have any questions. I ask that you please be as transparent and honest with me as you can about your pet’s triggers or potential aggression. I have worked with plenty of aggressive animals, but it makes it much SAFER and easier for both your pet and I if I am aware of these things. I have had instances in which I was bit badly after being told the animal was friendly. So I truly appreciate honesty and will be more willing to work with you if you are upfront about your pet.
“Emily was very flexible and was very responsive while I was away. She sent many pictures and videos of Lenny, which was great. She even figured out a more effective way to give him a supplement he dislikes! Plus, she left my home neat as a pin. I highly recommend Emily!”

About: Growing up I had a high energy Saint Bernard and I also work with horses! These have taught me how to be assertive but also gentle with all animals! I am a senior in college, and my classes are only Tuesday/Thursdays. The other 5 days a week I love to spend making new animal friends! When dropping in to hang out with your pet their water will always be refilled, food/treats/meds given on time, and will make sure that they get all the rubs and scratches. My first priority is their comfort!
“Hailey did a fantastic job taking care of our dog. I loved receiving photos at every visit. I would highly recommend her! She was quick to respond, she kept me updated. Our dog was well taken care of!”

“Nick was great! He took care of our two senior cats, both of whom take medication, and made sure they were well-attended to while we were away. He sent updates with each visit and we felt reassured to know that our cats were in good hands. He paid attention to what our cats enjoyed, and played with them and gave each one the kind of attention they need. Nick was also very communicative and messaged or called us with any concerns, which is what we had asked him to do. We came home to happy cats! Thank you Nick!”
