About: Updated Availability: 7/22/24 July: Not available between 8am-12pm August 1st-20th: Regular Availability Starting August 22nd, I will be unable to provide pet-care from 7:30am-2:15pm. I am a recent college graduate with 7 years of experience house sitting and dog sitting. I have 5 years of experience in basic canine obedience training and 1 year of experience as a veterinary assistant. I am able to administer medications and prepare specialty diets. I enjoy caring for dogs with special needs, and have a special love and appreciation for senior dogs. I have experience working with reactive dogs, high energy dogs, anxious dogs, shy dogs, and under socialized dogs. If your dog is fearful of new people or certain sights, sounds, or smells, knowing these things ahead of time gives me the ability to plan ahead (e.g. give extra space during first meeting, making extra time for introductions, avoiding scary triggers like the doorbell, lawnmower etc). I have worked with dogs that have severe dietary restrictions and allergies, so I understand the importance of keeping meals/treats/snacks consistent. To ensure the health and safety of your pet, I will only give food/treats as instructed. I have worked with dogs: - In all stages of life, from puppies (8 weeks) to seniors (17 years old) - Small to large dogs, 5lbs to 80lbs - Ranging from pedigreed pure breeds to wonderfully unique mixed breeds. From Chihuahuas, Schipperke, and Schnauzers to Vizslas, Weimaraners and German Shorthaired Pointers Schedule Updated on July 22nd: July: Not available between 8am-12pm August 1st-20th: Regularly available to provide pet-care Starting August 22nd, I will be unable to provide pet-care from 7:30am-2:15pm, Monday - Friday. I uphold the highest degree of discretion and take your safety and privacy extremely seriously. I am local to the Hunterdon County area. I love caring for all of my client's pets and I can't wait to meet yours! I do not care for your pets in my own home. I provide walks, potty breaks, play time, daytime care, and overnight stays in my clients home. Before booking new clients, I do require a meet and greet. Meet and greets can be scheduled free of charge and at your convenience. This helps me get to know you and your pets and will also help you to determine whether I am the right pet care professional for you. I take client confidentiality, privacy and safety extremely seriously. I never share or post personal information about my clients, their animals, or their homes on social media, through text, or any other means. Your home and your loved ones will have the benefits of privacy and security when you book me for pet care. Upon request, I can provide updates (pictures, videos, phone calls, and/or video calls) while I am caring for your pets. Photos and videos will only be taken upon client request and with permission. I am detail oriented and take pride in the high quality pet care that I provide. I write care summaries for my clients on each and every visit that detail the following: time of arrival, nature of the activities/services provided, time of departure, and anything else that is requested of me to write down. I believe that consistency in care is key, so I make every effort to match the routine and care styles that you provide for your pets. I follow all rules and preferences that you set for your pet(s) and your home.
7. Marlon R.
“Finding pet care for my dogs can be challenging as they are mid sized and high energy. Marlon was absolutely perfect. I cannot recommend him enough, from day one you could tell the dogs trusted him. My shepherded mix practically fell in love and wouldn't leave him alone! He is always constant and caring, I can leave town confident my pups are being well cared for, when I return I find happy healthy dogs who haven't developed any bad habits (an issue I've had in the past with pet sitters). He feeds and walks them on time, provides their medication without any interruptions, cleans up after them when necessary, all and all the perfect pet sitter.”

“I interviewed so many candidates to watch my cat Charlie for 4 months while I was gone, and Asia & John were above and beyond everyone else. I’ve honestly never seen my cat happier than during the time she spent with them! They loved her so much and so attentively, with expert care from Asia’s vet tech background and genuine love for animals from both of them. I’m so grateful to have found them!”
14. Kristina N.
“Kristina was just brilliant with our older cat while we were away. Before our trip, she made time to visit us and Biscuit. We received updates and photos every day, and could see how well they were getting along! At the end, it was obvious that Biscuit had been well cared for, and that she had not been stressed.”

About: When it comes to dogs, I speak their language! #iHeartMuttz When your dogs are under my care, they will be treated as if they were mine. I will care for them just like you would and will keep you up to date frequently to keep your mind at ease. You'll be able to enjoy your time away knowing they are in the best care. About Me: I'm a huge animal lover, though my love for dogs has always been the strongest. I've always wanted to be a dog behaviorist and trainer, and have read up on what's best for dogs and their mental/physical health. The goal for my doggie clients is to have them feel at home. I have worked at Doggie Day-Care facilities, was a volunteer dog-walker at my local shelter, and cared for many dogs throughout the years. Growing up around dogs of all sizes makes me comfortable not only with any size, but with any number of them. I believe that what is best for them is consistency, rules and boundaries, sufficient mental AND physical exercise, and of course lots of love. I am very active and walk in any type of weather - accommodating for each dog's needs. Does your dog need a run? No problem. A leisurely walk sound better? Sounds good to me. A romp in the yard? Let's play! I work from home and am able to care for your pup literally most of the day. Pet Care: When you place your dogs' care in my hands, rest assured that they will be happy and safe. I follow their routine as closely as possible, give them plenty of exercise, and adapt to any special needs they may have. Whether at the comfort of your own home, or at my home - where there are lots of green areas and a 1.5-mile path throughout the community - they will have a wonderful time. You will receive multiple daily updates and photos of your furry one. I require a meet-and-greet to discuss your and your pet's needs. Please note that if they stay with me, they will need to be okay with young kids. If this sounds like the right fit for your dog, reach out to me! I'd love to meet with you and your furry one! I understand the importance of consistency, so first I learn about your pet's routine. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, thus allowing me to adapt to your pet's schedule and maintain consistency throughout the time they are in my care. I have a fenced in patio area, a neighborhood with walking trails, and lots of years of experience. I can certainly discuss what is best for your dogs and accommodate for any special needs.
18. Sarah N.
“Dogs have always been apart of Sarah's life and she treats them like family. She is a very trustworthy person who you can trust to care for your dog. She is comfortable with both big and small dogs and she is that kind of caring person who will love to make your life easier by making your dog happy. Sarah also loves to be outdoors (such as going hiking) so your dog will not only be cared for but also played with and brought along with her on adventures. She is responsible, loving and very dependable. Trust me when I say you will not find a better caregiver for your dog.”

About: Hi! I have experience working as a Dog walker/Sitter, Dog Trainer, Ranch Hand, and Farrier with an Animal Behavior College certification in dog training. I have a husky/German Shepherd mix of my own named Kira in addition to taking care of multiple family and friends pets throughout the years. He sometimes joins us on walks and house visits if you would prefer but is not necessary. Taking care of animals is my passion and I can't wait to meet you and your fury friend. I am currently working part time between other jobs. My schedule is relatively flexible Friday through Monday so I can work with your schedule as needed. I have my own dog (husky/shepherd mix) so, I know how important it is to have someone reliable and trustworthy along with consistent exercise and play time.
