About: My friends and family call me Tom Care-a-lot, Tom the Mom, and The Dog Whisperer. I am often told I am too nice, but sometimes kindness and patience can be what someone needs to be a good caregiver. I have worked at East Memphis Pet Hospital & Resort as a Daycare and Kennel worker, and occasionally perform Vet Tech duties such as administering medication, which has taught me a lot about caring for multiple dogs and adapting to each dogs' individual needs. I have also worked for GoDog West Nashville and Morris Animal Inn. To be responsible for another life sometimes means that you have to be flexible, I understand if something comes up last minute, it happens; I will be as flexible as you and your dogs' needs. Your dog will be in good-hearted, caring hands while you are doing what you need to do. Your dogs and their home will be safe, you can leave it to me. I will respond to booking requests with 12-24 hours if not immediately. If something doesn’t work in my schedule I will let you know ahead of time unless there is an emergency. I work Freelance from home (remote), so my hours are flexible. I have obligations with other people and clients but I will make any booking done through the app, if they are accepted and scheduled. Failure to contact about a booking before service will result in a cancellation and YOU will be charged a cancellation fee and will take all responsibility for your pet(s). I treat them with respect, I will not hit or discipline them physically, if you instruct me to do so I will decline and cancel the stay or appointment. I do not tolerate abuse or neglect. I will clean up if they have an accident and my motto is to “leave the house roughly in the same state you came/found it in”. I will use your amenities like washer/dryer/sink/shower/dishwasher if I am staying multiple days or overnight. I will do my best to clean up after myself but I cannot conform to all expectations of perfection. Make sure there are no illegal drugs or weapons in the residence (weapons must be away and sealed in a secure location, if any are in the residence) failure to comply with this will result in an immediate cancellation and it will be on YOU.

“Jake was exceptional! He graciously agreed to help us at the 11th hour when another sitter fell through before our week away. Jake was prompt, followed directions perfectly, and so sweetly went above and beyond to make sure the house was clean and tidy when we got home. He actually spent extra time with our little guy, which was such a relief to us (we all know the degree of self-torture we go through when leaving a pet at home), and we could really tell that Jake is an animal lover. He sent us awesome pics and updates-it helped us enjoy our week away. Jake was generous with his time and effort, and we will absolutely be asking him to sit for us again!”

Outside of pet sitting, I have years of babysitting experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Seton Hall University, and I am currently in nursing school. I am currently available all summer with a very flexible schedule and would love to help care for your pets while you’re away on vacations, working long hours, or just need an extra helping hand. About: I am a 24 year old Graduate Student at Rutgers University and have been taking care of neighborhood and personal pets since I was 10! Not only have I taken care of animals in a home setting, but I have 2 years of experience in caring for animals in a veterinary setting as a veterinary assistant. For your animal's and my own safety, I do require proof of up-to-date vaccination before booking (primarily Rabies vaccination). I am flexible with walk times and really enjoy nature so I am happy to take dogs for lengthy walks. I am also appreciative of any type of animal love so couch potatoes are great for me as well! I am very diligent about making sure that animals are safe with me. I ensure that when entering the home, I greet the animal gently and let them come to me. About: I have been caring for dogs and cats for 7 years for family, friends, and clients, and I absolutely love making sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. I currently work as a gym manager, which allows me flexibility throughout the day since I typically start work later in the morning. I am also able to step away during the day for walks, check-ins, feeding, and quality time with your pets. I am also able to step away during my lunch break to check on pets, let them out, or spend some quality time with them. I have flexibility throughout the week, and I am available on weekends as well. I always prioritize making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any specific instructions they provide. I also make sure to be respectful of their home by keeping things clean and treating their space with care. I understand that every pet has a different personality and needs, so I take the time to get to know each animal and provide them with the attention, affection, and exercise they need. My goal is to make pets feel comfortable while giving owners peace of mind knowing their animals and home are being well taken care of. About: I am currently working as a veterinary technician and have extensive pet sitting experience. I have a dog and 3 cats of my own and would love the opportunity to care for your pets as if they were my own! I can care for all sizes of dogs, cats, and other pets. I'm able to medicate, administer insulin or other injections, or anything medical. I'm very good with scared or unsure pets and have a knack for helping them feel more comfortable. I'm happy to spend time with the pets, walking them, playing with them, or just spending time petting them. About: I’ve always had a pet in my house! I cared for my mother’s dog full-time during long recovery from back surgery! I have always had deep connections to animals and am patient but eager to gain their trust. I have accommodated for a wide range of furry personalities and I am excited to meet more animals over the summer. I am comfortable dressing your dogs in their harness and leash with ease and engaging in their favorite locations to explore!

About: Im 30 years old, the youngest of three boys. I am a former athlete and current student at RVCC studying dietetics. Growing up we had two golden retrievers( both females so my mom wasn’t alone in that regard). With our first dog Shannon me and my brothers all shared the responsibility of taking care of. After Shannon had passed we felt that there was a void in the family that needed to be filled. That’s when kiely our second golden joined the family. Now at this time both my brothers were out of the house. The responsibilities of taking care of kiely fell upon me and I was more than happy to uphold them. I know of many parks and trails around this area that are perfect for dogs as well. I am currently working for my mother as an assistant of sorts in her dietetics practice. The hours are flexible so I'll be there for whatever you or your furry friend need. I am easygoing and adaptable. Whatever specifications you layout and accommodations you require, I will oblige. Dogs are a part of the family as thus should be treated so. Whether old or young, sick or healthy, just as you would, I will passionately care for your dog.
